How often do you watch foreign language movies (outside of anime)? And I'll take a truth from you Plums. Truth or dare?
Alright You'll constantly hear me say "I think I'm pretty smart", "I think I'm a good writer", or "I think I'm a funny person" because I hear other people say that about me, so I guess it has to be true. I'm not the best judge of myself. I like to believe I'm a kind person who is really into saying some dark funny stuff whenever I get the opportunity. It's kinda of an entertainer mentality I have, that in everything I do, whether it be writing or singing for Karaoke Night: I do it because I love it, even if I'm not good at it, and if only one other person likes what I did, then I'm happy. Truth or dare?
It sucks having a 10 year old brother sometimes...
I'll take a truth
Still a better premise than Dog With A Blog.
Possibly. I mean, it does help that a lot of people who worked on Boy Meets World are on this project. However, it could also be a "lightning in a bottle" sort of thing, where everything came together at the right time. I also feel that what helped the show was that it lasted so long. You saw these people grow up, go to college, get married, and live their lives. And yeah, that rule of not having go on for longer than four season (although I heard that it's actually a 70 episode sort of thing) could get in the way. I understand why they do that though.
I expect Girl Meets World go one of two ways: 1) It's just like every other sit-com for kids that just panders and treats kids like they're idiots, completely going against the themes and tone of the original show. However, because its like everything else, it becomes popular and is another cash cow for Disney. OR 2) It sticks by what the original was in terms of tone and theme, becoming its own thing, and being vastly different than all the other kid's sit-coms. However, I would expect it to not be as popular because its not like everything else and wont last long.
I dare you to make a thread in the spam zonecalling out Pride and Prejudice as a piece of crap. I still consider myself religious, but I do find myself questioning the afterlife. The way I view things, everyone gets into Heaven (to grossly abridge it) as long as they did something with their life that was good for humanity. Because of my medical stuff, knowing I'm going to die soon is always at my mind. I do wonder a lot if there is an afterlife, whether it be the way I imagine it, or something else.
Good. That means you can't enjoy the original anymore either.
Unfortunately, I don't have the disc anymore. It started as a win 7 computer and I think it updated through a download to 8.
My medication. I'm so amazed that every day I have to take a certain amounts of certain pills to keep everything in check. I'm very grateful that they haven't given up on me. Truth Truth or dare?
What was the one tv show you were mist excited about when you were a kid. Truth
You just need to ask yourself this one question: Are you a Do-er or a Don't-er?
Definitely looks interesting. I really liked Simba's Pride growing up and 1 1/2 is actually very clever when you look at all the Hamlet parallels. While I think that this is a bit of a cash grab since The LIon King doesn't really feel like it needs to be expanded, I'm interested to see where they'll go with the story. One thing I want to point out is in the quote: The show will follow Kion, the second-born son of Simba and Nala. That can actually be read one of two ways. The first is the obvious way, he's the second off-spring of Simba and Nala. However, since it says second son, which can be read as the second male child between Simba and Nala. Randomly searching the internet one day, I found out that in children books, between the time The Lion King and Simba's Pride came out, Simba and Nala had a son named Kopa. Now, there's no sign of Kopa in Simba's Pride, probably because Disney didn't see that as canon. However, there's a popular theory out there is that Zira, the main antagonist in Simba's Pride killed Kopa, which is why she and others are banished (probably those who aligned with Scar). There's more to it, but that's what I remember from the top of my head. It probably means nothing, but it's till interesting to think about.
There's going to be some rambling in this one. I've never watched an episode of the series. That being said, the culture behind the show is very interesting (and I'm regarding the male and female fanbase). On Netflix, I watched the Bronies documentary that was really well put together, but at the same time, it felt like a giant circle-jerk. One thing that was odd to me that one of the people they were following was this shut-in who would never go outside, but was able to leave his house, travel hundreds of miles to go to some MLP convention. While that's commendable in its own right, I can't help but feel that's a little pathetic. Plus, I have a guy like him at my campus's anime club, and know how loud and obsessive he can be. The reason I bring all of this up is because something that's kept me from watching it is the fanbase. The documentary did go a bit into the show, and while the premise and details are very well thought out, the few but obsessive fans keep me away. It's in every fanbase as well; I mean, I love the movie Frozen (for personal reasons), but those loud obsessive voices are making me lose some of the love for it. tl;dr have no intention of watching, but seems interesting. Truth or dare?
I have tried automatic repair a number of times now and hasn't worked.. I'm not sure how to use command line stuff, so a few pointers would be much appreciated.[DOUBLEPOST=1403654294][/DOUBLEPOST]After trying numerous things, I looked up just how to do a way to get it back to factory settings. It's not my favorite option, since I have a lot of my writing on there, but it seems like the only thing to help me at this point.[DOUBLEPOST=1403656427][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay. It wouldn't even do that. I got an error code 0x45 Now when I restart, it doesn't even show the windows logo. It tells me that windows failed to start because of a corrupt file, I think I need to reinsall the windows 7 disk (since that's what it originally had, but this was my dads computer before, so I don't know what he did with it). Any other tips. The file that's corrupt is windows\system32\winload.exe Status: 0xc000000f Info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt,
I like it, I like it. It's a good alert for me that the podcast is available for listening.
An update on both KHV and tumblr? I like. Now I really have to listen to it because I don't even remember sending in a question this week. Hee hee
Well, its actually windows 8 not 7. I get it to start up, the underscore shows up, then the gateway logo, then the windows logo, and then a black screen. Nothing happens after that. I can turn it off, and when I immediately turn it back on, it gives me a blank black screen with the mouse arrow and no underscore.
Okay, so I was trying to uninstall a program that got it's way onto my laptop. It started acting up, so I did a hard shut down, a decision I now regret. Every time I try rebooting, I don't get far. Sometimes I just get a black screen where I can use my cursor. Other times, I get the Gateway logo where I can choose f2, but that does little help. I've been able to make it to system restore, but I've gone through two dates, and both don't work. I have a windows 7 computer, and as I mentioned, it's a Gateway. Any advice?
