One of my old time favorites that still does reviews today. Even though he retired a bit and came back for reasons he refused to disclose though from what it sounded like he got new ideas.

He has a more adult humor base about him, but he is very dead on with his humor. He even does commentary every other week about his opinions on things. Twilight, Romeo and Juliet, Where the Wild Things Are. Things like that.

    Anyone else watch him?

I watched the first season, but the thing that really turned me off it was the violence.

At a certain point, I can't watch anything because it scars me to the point where at random intervals I see it when I close my eyes. Neon Genesis Evangelion is the same way. I can't stand that much violence. I did enjoy the season, but then the second season came along and it became too convoluted even without the violence for me to continue watching.

I do hope they bring it back at least for the fans who loved it.

I see your point. I guess it could work that way.

But there'd be multiple threads on each person. One of my biggest reviewers reviews manga/comics/Power Rangers, etc... He'd be in at least two sections. But I guess it'd work.

The completion system... UGH!!! Seriously, to get the Secret Ending in II, you have to go through so much to get there. It drove me nuts.

The AI for Donald and Goofy weren't that good, either. Those are the biggest two things that pissed me off.

Oh, and the repetitiveness of KHII where you had to go back to the worlds twice. That and the world plots were very boring except in the last world.

I don't know if I can stand all the fan moments to survive the combat.

The combat isn't that bad. Like I said before, I started with X, so I went to X-2 next and the combat techniques REALLY threw me off after X. That and the leveling system. I might play X-2 at least once for the hell of it, though how in the heck I'll keep track to make 100% I have no idea.

I could see it going maybe like Twilight Princess, both on the PS3 and 4. Either that or to sell more PS4's they do make it an exclusive. I heard a lot of unpromising things about this system, but that's just me.

There's enough of a fanbase to put it just on PS4 and it to be a seller. Hell, people still love FFXIII and I have no idea why. No offense to anyone out there.

Having purchased the game last year when I got a PS3, yes, I know I'm behind on the times.

I have to admit, it is very entertaining. I enjoy II as a favorite, but this comes as a strong second. Just everything about it is fantastic. I love Ezio especially.

I honestly could never compare. The reason 9/11 hit me so hard was because I was in college at the time and had never seen anything like this happen before in America. I was old enough and able to get the whole footage of what happened live shot by shot while they talked. It rocked me deeply to the roots, and every spare moment I had, I was watching the events, the night of 9/11 I didn't get a wink of sleep watching it.

The Boston bombing had my godmother involved. Though thank God she wasn't at the bombing sight at the time or I would've had a much deeper comparison. It still shook me to the core because of the fact that I go to Boston all the time, I go to these places that were mentioned and shown in the footage and it honest to God scared me at the fact I could've been there when it happened.

Does this make me stronger or weaker than someone else? No, but it depends on their POV.

If my grandmother died right this moment, my mom would be in deep and utter grief. I would be more upset about her reaction than her death. Why? Because I'm not close to my grandmother. I am close to my mom, very close. Someone else might think their pet dog or cat is more important than their grandmother or even mother and think it's ridiculous my mom reacts like she does. Some people are still most likely grieving and affected by 9/11 every day when for me it only happens around the said date.

You can't compare tragedies, not in a person's POV because how you feel and how the teacher feels about both events are going to be different.

I just hope that they honestly make it more adultish this time. I'm REALLY getting tired of the kiddy theme *coughs*WindwakerSkywardSword*coughs*. And if they add little kid voices, especially for Gannon, I think I will go in a corner or cry.

If they do it with Link and Zelda also, you will never see me again. I will have probably have died from how low one of my favorite franchises have gone.

There's a lot of definitions to patriarchy, in religion, in government, in a lot of different societies. The U.S. could be called patriarchal because there's a lot more males in the government than females. There's never been a female president, etc... Is it in my POV? I still think women have a long way to go to reach the same ground as men. There's a reason why there's a "glass ceiling" for women. Though I do admit, it's a lot less than it used to be. A lot of it depends on a person's POV in a job, but in most cases, it is that in government when it comes down to it, men will still want to have more control then woman unless if something drastically changes. Does it make it right? Depends on your POV, does it make it fair? Depends, this comes from anywhere, if you look at most religions, men still dominate. There has never been a female Pope as far as I know, and sorry if I'm wrong, nor has there been a large religious figure who is a female from Christianity. It has been this way thousands of years. Does it make it right? Most likely not, but again, it's what is decided by a group of people who have always chosen who are male.

There are other countries like this, North Korea and probably most of the Middle East is the only one that pops in my head that I can strongly stand behind but that is extreme. There's also the other side of that where you look at places like Norway. It is a country run by women, when a women is pregnant, her husband is given maternity leave for a year with the wife, there's little to no homeless, etc...

There are probably several patriarch run countries who have it the same way. It honestly comes to the country, their beliefs and what happens inside the country/relgion that causes it to be run these days unless it's a government/religion that has held traditions dating back hundreds of years. I hope that was on topic enough, I'll edit if not.

I remember my bf had such a hard time with Marluxia and I beat him the second try. He was so pissed.

Oh yeah, hardest boss. I'd say either last battle with Repli Riku or Ansem, both with Riku. Dear God, those card loading times were a pain.

Thanks for that imagery, dudes and duddettes...

I am Sara, I think I am. :P At least last time I checked unless I have gotten a brain transplant recently. Maybe because I'm not an admin anymore... Or I'm having fun...

Or I have spent a lot of time on Gaia where if you're a strict person in chats they stop liking you. :P Who knows...

Maybe it's just that I'm happy to be home.

I really didn't get into Shakespeare while in school. I only really liked A Midsummer's Night Dream. I think the main reason was because like poetry, my teachers loved to tear apart every line and every scene and every significance with the students and some of it was really dry to begin with, when you have teachers like that, you never really get to enjoy a story for what it is: a story.

Two books that I will never hate and I will always pick up and read after high school is The Odyssey and The Giver. I loved those books and understood most of the significance. The biggest reason is that the teachers never tore them apart, they made it fun to learn. Hell, we had a card game at the end of the Odyssey that was so hilarious I laugh about it even today.Teachers I think a lot of the time at least in English when it comes to reading try to make it as educational as possible without making it fun when the kids get older.

And I'm getting massively off-topic. I didn't mind Catcher in the Rye, it was a thousand times better than the book before that: The Scarlett Letter. That book was extremely dull and long without any real rhyme or reason. Another that I'll never forget is A Tale of Two Cities. I read the book, watched the movie, listened to the book on tape, read the Cliff Notes and still mostly had no idea what half the symbolism was in that book and it was extremely boring for me.

The problem is that it's massively diverse, TGWTG alone does Comics, anime, manga, video games, music, etc...

But I see your point. That might fit under Movies and media. I don't know how many people would enjoy having a review about comics in that section, hence me asking.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to it now. I do NOT like FFX-2, though. So I'll only probably play X, X-2 just drove me nuts with everything and really didn't have a driving story to get me behind it.

I'm iffy about this... I honestly loved Final Fantasy X for a while, but that was before I played the classics which made me really love the series. VI still being my favorite. I did think X was still a great favorite of mine, but found myself playing less and less of it as time went on. Maybe it was the characters, except Auron who's still a badass, or something else, dunno.

Does anyone know if it's going to be like the International version with the Dark Aeons? Just wondering, if so, I will most likely buy it just for that part.
