the dead stare can be used to suggest several reactions depending on the context. given the slightly condescending smirk and the dead eyed expression, suggestions include: "it's so cute that you think that" "i am 450% done" "i want to shout 'are you ****ing kidding me' but i am in polite company so i am just going to look at you like this" "i will quietly stab you in the night" because i know the context in which the picture is taken, i am also tempted to add these suggestions, with that disclaimer in tact "it's 5am on a sunday night and i've lost control of my life" "from this camera angle you can't tell that i have no pants on"
Luno (Bloc Party vs. Death from Above 1979) by Bloc Party Come back to me the the way you were, The way you were when we were young, I'm trying to tell you everything, I'm trying to tell you everything.
Yeah Ann Perkins (of Parks & Rec) is also on both lists. I'm rather familiar with yours because my sister has the same personality type as yours! yus I knoooooooow. AND LIARA CAN'T FORGET ABOUT LIARA
Oh okay. That's not really resolution. I was just afraid you were harboring desires of KH3 (or any game this gen) being 4K or something haaa.
everything is a reaction image if you try hard enough haya
there's a preposterous number here please enjoy: http://imgur.com/a/SmiEM ( there's a lot of harry potter ) these two are my absolute faves tho Spoiler
oh lol I just did this on tumblr after seeing your post tale INFJ Amélie Poulain from Amélie Britta Perry from Community John and Anna Bates from Downton Abbey Tifa Lockhart and Red XIII from Final Fantasy VII Yuna from Final Fantasy X Trinity from The Matrix Liara T’Soni from Mass Effect Snufkin from The Moomins Mako Mori from Pacific Rim Ann Perkins from Parks and Recreation Hannelore Ellicott-Chatham from Questionable Content Hester Prynne from The Scarlet Letter Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars Veronica Sawyer from Film/Heathers officially afraid of lexi
Kind of random question but why would the FMVs be "absurdly high res"? The PS4 doesn't support 4k resolution for games (don't know about the Xbox One). I don't know if this has been explicitly stated by Sony but it seems that the maximum resolution will, in all probability, be 1080p for the PS4 so there's no reason for KH3 to push that.
I know! It's a crime. I only really played a little bit of the beta but I'm not too surprised to see this sadly. It's a gorgeous game but it doesn't seem to be anything special beyond that. I'm actually kind of sad to say it because I had high hopes it would attract a lot of people into this gen of consoles but it doesn't seem to be the case! I have a soft spot in my heart for Kingdom Hearts heh I can't believe I forgot Princess & the Frog! I feel like it's probably waaaay late but I'd love to do an episode about Frozen. I don't hate it, but I also don't love it so I feel like I could be good in that discussion heh. "good catch everyone but misty" should be the new catchphrase for every podcast sorry mr. hayabusa sir please don't give me detention I have been making a lot of groans moans and bleghs all through the podcast lately lmao
Updated with screens directly from Square's press site, so they shouldn't have Facebook's icky compression anymore. Enjoy!
View attachment 40498 Courtesy of the always hard-working SQEX☆GAL, we now have a full transcript of all the secret scenes in the newly released KINGDOM HEARTS 2.5 HD Remix. @Ami Mizuno updated us yesterday with an early translation, but this one includes another new Re:Coded scene and is a complete transcript, including some interesting translator notes. This may go without saying but if you'd like to remain spoiler-free for your own playthrough of 2.5, stay away! I've hidden everything under spoiler tags just to be sure, but tread carefully! Braig: That was a troublesome plan, but it all went accordingly, didn’t it? Braig: Master Xemnas isn’t here, so does that mean it’s already begun? Braig: Well then! That old man Xehanort really is frightening. Braig: How far will he read? Translator's Note: (My opinion: Braig uses the verb 読む which is specifically used for reading, and given the stress Nomura has put on the term “Tome of Prophecy”, I am inclined to think that’s what he’s referring.) Braig: Honestly, I don’t really know what that old man’s real goal is. Braig: You are yourself now too, but do you got it figured out? Young Master Xehanort: The fate which I must follow as an omen is decided. Braig: In short, you don’t really get it yet. Young Master Xehanort: Keyblade Masters have Keyblades that are passed down for generation after generation. 長い歴史の中、弟子が増え― Young Master Xehanort: And during that long history, the number of apprentices increase... Young Master Xehanort: The number of inherited Keyblades also increase in great numbers, but... その中でも最古の一振り― Young Master Xehanort: Among them, one is the oldest... Young Master Xehanort: For sure it is the Keyblade that Master Xehanort possesses. Young Master Xehanort: It is the mark of inheritance. Young Master Xehanort: I haven’t obtained that yet. Braig: I see how it is then. Braig: That’s has to do with the Keyblade War too, right? Braig: Whatever, I’ll go towards my own goals regardless. Braig: So, who shall I take with me? Translator's Note: My conclusion: In this scene, Braig and Young Master Xehanort have come into being once again, but Xehanort cannot wield a Keyblade because he hasn’t been given the mark of inheritance yet. Also, as I mentioned in the note above, Braig mentions Old Man Xehanort reading, which I am inclined to think he refers to the Tome of Prophecy, seeing as both these secret scenes were designed to bring attention to Kingdom Hearts X [chi]. Additional Re:Coded Scene (takes place before entering Castle Oblivion) Spoiler: Subtitled Video Version Spoiler: Transcript なるほどね Maleficent: That explains it... “でぇたの世界”なんて言い方をするから、気づかなかったよ Maleficent: I didn’t recognize it because he called it some sort of “data world.” 予知書― Maleficent: The Tome of Prophecy! Maleficent: Once, a long time ago, there was a book called by that name. Maleficent: It was a book that documented the complete future of the worlds. Pete: Oh yeah? If there really was something like that, wouldn’t you be free to do whatever you wanted with the worlds? Maleficent: It would seem that from that book, you could go as far as taking out people and power that existed in the future, reproducing the world of the future. Pete: What? Worlds and people from a book? Pete: No matter how you look at it, that’s got to be a fairytale! Pete: You had me going there for a second Maleficent: Yes... It’s just like a fairytale. Maleficent: But... Wouldn’t you say the so called “data world” is the same thing? Maleficent: Perhaps there is some connection between that Tome of Prophecy from the past and the journal they made for the sake of leaving a record. Pete: This is getting interesting, Maleficent! Maleficent: We really must get our hands on this so called, “data”. Translator's Note: My Conclusion: Just like how in Recoded, worlds are made out of the data in Jiminy’s Journal, worlds and more can also be recreated out of the Tome of Prophecy. Maleficent obviously heard about it before, maybe even in the Keyblade War era.

It's just not really easy to judge average time spent playing a game in the number of discs. I put around 120 hours into Final Fantasy XII and that was just one disc. I'm sure KH3's story will be at least as long as KH2's, if not longer (I'd say average play time for KH2 was maybe 40 hours) and that's just for the story. With extras and mini games and such it'll certainly push above that.
If it's more or less a straight port of the game, with some updated textures & such (like the past remasters), I'd still pay $40 for it simply because I've not played KH3D so, to me, it's like a new game. $60 seems high but not if they're includong KHX, which would also be a new game to me and I imagine require really significant work to adjust to a console experience. I think Plums's point about 3D being on the PS4/XBO is a really good one too. If any KH game is a good lead-in to KH3, it's Dream Drop Distance.
I still don't think much of anything will come out of BBS Vol 2 -- certainly not an entirely new game like some people seem to expect. I don't think they'd waste their time on it when KH3 is in active development. We had a podcast episode about it and I can see having a portion of KH3 where Aqua, still in the Realm of Darkness, is playable but that's the most I expect. Thanks Roxam!
We've got quite a few of yours stockpiled! Trying to get to the oldest ones first... but feel free to keep 'em coming. ;)
Plans (Replanned by Mogwai) by Bloc Party I LISTENED TO IT A FEW TIMES BUT I SADLY JUST WASN'T DIGGING IT ;c except for QUEEN. I mean I liked what little I gleaned of the concept but I didn't dig too many of the songs -- they were good but didn't blow me away and I am very upset to admit this because Janelle is a goddess
Podcast is kinda late because I have a LIFE and STUFF Hi everyone! We've got a new episode of the podcast fresh off the grill, complete with @Misty, @libregkd, @Llave, and @Plums. This week we sit down and discuss a relatively recent development in the gaming industry: widespread access to game betas, but not before recapping some recent Kingdom Hearts news! We discuss Famitsu's recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura, Nomura's announced attendance at New York Comic Con, and our review of Project Destati's LIGHT album. After that we launch into our topic, talking about some of the betas we've personally participated in, who should be given beta access, what a beta means to us, and whether we'd ever pay for beta access. Finally, we answer our usual stack of user-submitted questions! @Graxe asks us to contemplate personhood with a parasite latched to our back (Doctor Who references are made), @Eric Luna asks us what worlds we'd like to see in Kingdom Hearts III, @Anixe endures the brunt of username mispronunciation while we design a video game class for school, and @Hayabusa asks us about some of our favorite video game companions. It's a fun-filled podcast for the masses to enjoy! Thanks everyone for listening and please comment with your thoughts below.
