Let's see now. You have one card left in your hand and Lava Golem on the field. You have 7000 life points left. There are a number of things I can do, but the trick is finding one without any holes in it whatsoever.

    Draw Phase
    1 card in hand.
    Standby Phase
I don't pay for Imperial Order and destroy it instead.
    Main Phase 1
I play Monster Reborn and bring Molten Zombie back from the Graveyard.

Its effect lets me draw a card. 1 card in hand.
I play Pot Of Greed. 2 cards in hand.
I play Change Of Heart and take control of your/my Lava Golem. 1 card in hand.
Finally, before entering my Battle Phase, I empty my hand by summoning Solar Flare Dragon. No cards in hand.
    Battle Phase
I attack you with all monsters. You lose a total of 6100 LP, bringing you to 900.
    Main Phase 2
I reveal my last face-down card: Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai.
I tribute the Molten Zombie to inflict an additional 1600 points of damage, bringing you to zero.
    End Phase
(Were you to survive this somehow, which you can, you still lose 500 points due to the effect of Solar Flare Dragon. Plus, your Lava Golem would be returned to your side seeing as Change Of Heart's effect wears off. This would inflict 1000 points of damage to you during your Standby Phase.)

I'm not going to post my Spell/Trap card and Monster card zones, since I think I won this duel. It was one of my toughest yet though.

My thoughts exactly. Thinking that everything can just be categorized in solid compartments is a dangerous thing.
Even though I haven't followed all the fuss around his persona, I can still safely say that he was inspiring for a bunch of people but all the while he has probably made mistakes as well.

I'd like to think that I can kill the person in my way, whoever it is, but there's just no way to be 100% sure. Then again, if I stop and think that I would deny thousands of people happiness in exchange for a few, I think my rational side would come out on top.

Obviously I counter with Curse Of Royal.

Not so fast: I chain Imperial Order to Pot of Greed, negating its activation.

    Continue.

No, continue. I'd like to know how many cards you have in your hand though. I think you have 3?

    Main Phase 1 (cont.)
I play Graceful Charity and draw three cards. 7 cards in hand.
Then I discard Molten Zombie and Volcanic Counter to the Graveyard. 5 cards in hand.

Next, I use your Statues of the Wicked to summon a Lava Golem on your side of the field. 4 cards in hand.
I remove your face-down defense monster with Nobleman Of Crossout. 3 cards in hand.

Very well. Make your move. I'll make mine tomorrow; there won't be any more time today I think.

Anime and manga have a habit of making their major villains "pretty" so the stereotype doesn't hold true for all media. In fact, in Judeo-Christian mythology and demonology the devil is usually described as being seductive, when he takes a human form.

Not too comfortable with these to be honest. How about we make a compromise? Drop either of them (you may choose which one) and you can start. Do we have a deal?

Don't worry, there haven't been too many duels.
I'm still secretly hoping I can get the tournament back on tracks, so if and Dalk have a mutual spare moment...

Either way, I'm still open for dueling. Not too sure for how long though. Busy Easter holiday coming...

    - Impressions?
    - Are you a vegetarian or have you ever considered it?
    - What's your favourite bird?
    - Do you catch yourself being overly nice to beautiful girls sometimes? Like when a female colleague or fellow student asks you to do something for her, you're more willing to do it than if a guy would ask the same thing?
    - If you take a stance with your arms crossed, do you cross your arms right over left or left over right?
    - Have you ever dyed your hair?
    - How sporty are you, on a scale from 1 to 10?
