( xxx xxx ) They sat together for a bit in a comfortable silence. The brunette happily tapped her shoes against the rock to a quiet melody she hummed. It was alright if, for now, they left it at that. It was hard for Feall to ... talk about his feelings in such a way, and Ava was almost afraid of travelling down that road with him too soon. She wanted him to confess, she really did but ... was now the right time? She felt like somehow she had pressured him to talk about it or maybe coming to such a secluded place alone made him feel obligated to bring it up. ( So why did you get it...Cupid's Brew, I mean ) Ava frowned and turned to look at him, her cheeks flooding with warmth. ( How did you know about that?! ) She asked with wide eyes. ( I saw you looking at it the day you got it, you'd left your door half open. I was coming to talk to you, but I kind of freaked out a bit... ) She nudged his shoulder with hers, being sure not to use too much force and knock him down into the creek as hilarious as that would have been. ( You really shouldn't spy on people, you know. Well ... I was just curious about it, I guess. It popped up as an ad and they were selling it as if it were a legit product so I wanted to see what it was all about. ) It was only a half lie. She couldn't be too embarrassed, though, considering. ( ... What about you? I answered the door when the package came for you and it was the same size and label as mine so I figure ... ) Feall's eyes widened. ( Oh um ... I guess I was curious, too. I thought about experimenting with it, but I don't know if that's such a good idea ... I mean what if it actually worked, then I'd have some poor soul in love with me and I'd have no idea what to do with them. ) Ava brought her legs up and rested her chin on her knees quietly, playing with the fabric of her dress and she mulled over what to do. Finally, she straightened up and stretched her legs out, turning to Feall after with a playful expression. ( We should use it! ... Like, on each other. Just for fun, you know ... It's not like it'll actually work, and if it does ... ) She bit down on her bottom lip and shrugged, looking away. Feall shifted at her side. ( I-if it does? Would you...be okay with that? I don't expect it to work but...I mean, if it does. ) Ava smiled and nodded.( I would. ) xxxxx The conversation drifted a bit and they decided that they would - maybe - try it tomorrow. Feall took them home and they had dinner with his family before getting ready for bed. As usual, they called each other and talked a bit about their day at the park before saying good night and drifting off to sleep.

It would be hard to convince her to open up to him, but now that the invitation was out there that was all he could do. She got up and left and Oliver trailed after her, into the kitchen. ❝ I was um, going to start dinner ... if you're hungry? ❞ He remembered the burnt smell from earlier and smiled a bit. "Yeah, sure ... I can help you make it." He offered, helping her gather the stuff and whatever else he assumed they would need. He didn't mind helping out and it would be awkward just sitting around waiting for dinner to be done.

He wasn't exactly sure what Pierce had planned for the day - if anything. He hoped they wouldn't just sit around and stare at each other all day. He was anxious to see how she felt about the present he had gotten her, even though he felt like a bit of a creeper for knowing what day it was. If it weren't for his band and his logging into the student portal nearly daily because of it, he wouldn't have known. The SP had a small section dedicated to the birthday's of students on the homepage. He had thought maybe it was another Pierce but had seriously never heard of the last name Mhenjer. He wasn't going to make a big deal out of it if she wasn't into that, but he thought a present - even as an I'm Sorry was better than pretending he didn't know ... or care.

When he got to her house, he parked on the side of the road across the street and slung the bag of clothes and whatnot over his shoulder before heading out and knocking on Pierce's door.

( xxx xxx ) ( Oh, I, umm. I just decided I wanted to make you breakfast. ) Ava perked an eyebrow and folded her arms over her chest. Feall seemed to be telling the truth and all but it was pretty out of the ordinary. After a few more moments, she sighed and decided to leave it at that. He didn't have any reason to do anything special for her. Pff, getting her hopes up! She stepped closer, watching as he pulled her chair out for her and giving him a look before settling down. They ate in a comfortable silence for a bit before Feall spoke up again. ( Did you want to do anything today? Mom and Dad will be gone until late afternoon. I know there's the sickness going around, but maybe we could go out for a bit. From what I can tell, as long as we avoid people, we shouldn't be at risk... ) Ava brightened up immediately. It had been so long since she left the house! She hadn't expected Feall to be the one to offer to break the monotony. She thought about it for a bit. What could they do together? Going to the movies sounded a bit dangerous, and renting one and coming home sounded bland ... ( Sure! Um ... I was thinking about maybe renting a movie, but that sounds kind of boring. ... We should go to the park! There shouldn't be very many people and we can get some fresh air. ) She wasn't actually sure how good of an idea that was. As long as they washed their hands, wore those dumb masks and avoided coming into contact with strangers it should be okay. She hoped, at least. ( The sounds like fun, let's hurry up and finish our work for the day. ) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx And so they did! Feall didn't have to wait very long before Ava stepped out of her room and the two of them grabbed their jackets, put on their masks, and headed out the door. They weren't even at the park yet and she felt great. It was a warm, Spring afternoon. They slipped into his car and were off to the park. The drive was full of light conversation and low volume music from the radio that Ava kept flipping through. Candlewood had really turned into a ghost town with the whole epidemic thing. There were still people around, mostly teenagers and those with no where to go or be, but there was a noticeable difference in how ... lively it all was. When they arrived at the park, no one was there. This thing had really scared some people. She hoped it got resolved soon. They got out of the car and she checked her mask to make sure it was on securely, even though she felt completely silly having to wear one in the first place. The disease or whatever wasn't airborne so she didn't get what the problem was. It was probably just a safety precaution considering how little anyone knew about this thing. She glanced at Feall and her heartbeat quickened. Aah, maybe the park had been a bad idea. It was just him and her, alone, together, and she felt like such a baby for having picked the park of all places. Oh well. What's done is done. She was going to enjoy herself. Her eyes scanned the park and settled on the swings. Eek. There was a time where that seemed like the most fun in the world, but more recently swinging had just made her feel nauseous. Then there was a merry-go-round, which would make her nauseous as well, and the monkey bars that were too close to the ground for her. The slides were too short to have much fun on ... the seesaw wouldn't work out too well, either. She visibly pouted and huffed, crossing her arms and mashing her lips together behind the mask. Finally, her eyes settled on a wide bike trail further beyond the playground. Tall, vivid green trees bordered the long winding stretch of gravel. She had been here, years and years ago, and if she remembered there was a small creek deeper down into the woods. Discovering it would be a nice little trip, she thought. ( Walk with me? ) She nodded towards the trail, but didn't exactly wait for him to confirm that he was okay with it before skipping off towards through the woodchips and then the short blanket of grass leading up to the entrance. Now, she felt very much pleased with her decision to head out to the park. The playground was a bust but who knew what kind of sexually tensed adventures awaited them on these park trails. ( You know, I've been wanting to go out with you ... ) Her voice was gentle, but sure. She wasn't trying to be all romantic or anything, it was just the truth. The gravel shifted under her shoes and the flecks of sun escaping through the filter of leaves above them tickled at her skin. She walked ahead of Feall, leading the way down the narrowing path and through deeper into the crowd of trees.
I hope you had a happy and safe birthdayyy.
Happy happy birthday!! I hope you have a great one. 8D
Who knows, honey. WHO KNOOOWS.
Never officially said this - but I'm just going to unexist Torvald and Fatime [ poor julius ]. If this majorly affects any of you please say so and I'll kill them instead but PLS don't cause unnecessary dramatics. It'll be a lot easier to just unexist them instead of more anguish.
Aw. Thank you. I really appreciate it. <3
( xxx ✿✿ xxx ) ( Good Morning! ) Feall greeted her immediately upon arrival. The smell of a delicious breakfast had woken Ava from sleep and she was scurrying to the kitchen in a heartbeat. It seemed Feall's parents were out, so it was just them. She couldn't help but wonder why he didn't wake her up to cook with him. It wasn't like this was some kind of surprise breakfast for her, or something ... Unless it was. The thought made her doki doki but she quickly pushed it aside. She leaned against one side of the doorframe, watching him finish setting the table. Tentatively, she took a step forward, wrapping her arms around herself and tilting her head to the side with curiosity. Loose brunette curls tickled at her cheeks. ( Good Morning, Feall. What's got you awake and cooking? ) She asked, trying to sound and look as casual as possible despite the distractingly loud thumping in her eardrums.

Yay, thank you! Perfect.
Nope, not too late! I'll sign you up. Keep in mind that the instrumental link doesn't work but I'm asking KH530 if she can provide a new link. If not, then that song will be removed since I can't find another instrumental that I don't have to buy.
Hey, do you have the instrumental for For All Lovers? http://kh-vids.net/threads/khvc-song-suggestions-open.133458/page-4#post-3960426 The box...
