I have to take a bit of a break. I'll still be here, the way I have been, doing a bit of moderation or whatever, but the bigger things are going to need to hold on for a bit. After this coming KN, there will be a KHVC break. I'll leave Cupid's Brew open, but nothing much will progress for you guys until I'm back - if you want to go with the everything is non-canon idea and be ridiculous, wait until the next day in the RP so I can ignore everything after more easily. Please don't mix the silly and the serious together just decide on what you want to do. I'll need a recap when I'm back. I feel really bad about this, but I have to pause The Spellbook for a while, too, which means I'll have to finish it after Halloween which is lame, and I'm sorry. But I will resume. I'm taking a break for a few reasons. My wrists are killing me. I can't even flip through pages of a book for too long without them dying on me. Carpal tunnel has gotten progressively worse for some reason. Speech recognition can only go so far and when it gets it wrong it's very annoying. The 4 day break I took recently helped but as soon as I stopped resting it came back really bad. I have to limit my time online. I spilled juice on my keyboard and it still works but the space bar is totally borked and my 'b' key is like slowly dying on me. Until I get a new one typing for long periods of time is like ... not okay. I'm going on a trip / spending time with a very special someone [/violently hip bumps] for a week, from Nov. 1 - Nov. 6. I'm preparing to move to California which has been muy stressful. I don't know exactly when I'll be back consistently, but I'll be popping in from time to time. If you really need me between visits then you know how to contact me by now, hopefully. Staff and close frens have my number. I'll take off my invisibility cloak so y'all know when I'm around and I'll say something on my profile when I'm back.

Getting passed the border was less tedious than she thought it would be. The moment Joey muttered the name Trenton Sheffield, it was an effortless journey. Noëlle had never been treated with such respect before. It made her uncomfortable, but she could tell by her mother's bright, wide eyes and tender smile that Joey's sudden influence was only further cementing their romance. It made her physically sick to her stomach. How could she smile? How could she look at him like that, even? Bryan - her son - was dead. He was dead. Dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead ... She hadn't expected to be in the car for nearly as long as they were. At some point, she pulled out one of Bryan's stuffed animals - an elephant - and snuggled it in the back seat, twisting herself to sit against one of the backdoors. They left Percival and before she could really register it they had left the state. Night fell and she was growing a bit bored with her snuggling and tuning in and out of the radio.She finally pulled out her phone and sighed to herself at the arrival of an expected message. She chewed nervously on her bottom lip as her turquoise eyes scanned over the text. Hey Noelle, hope your doing okay over there! I hear from Julius that you were leaving town. I'm disappointed I never got to say goodbye in person, but hey...you must have your reasons and I'm just glad you'll be able to at least get out of this diseased town. Once all this epidemic nonsense comes to an end I hope we'll be able to hang out again! If you need anybody to talk to you know who to call, we're friends after all. One deep, shaky breath later; I'm sorry for not telling you sooner, Jonathan. You're such a good friend, but even with how understanding you've been ... I couldn't even work up enough courage to let you know I was going. I didn't want to see you before I left. I'm sorry for being such a coward. I don't know. I can't help but wonder what's / wrong / with you for sticking around me so often and looking after me. Good luck with things. ... Don't die. Look out for Professor for me, too. ... I'll miss you. The hot water of the bath her mother had encouraged her to take burned at her skin and made her wince as she immersed herself. In a way, it was refreshing. Her emotions had been a bit muted recently, but at least physically she felt everything the way she was meant to. She ran her nails slowly along her arms and sank further into the tub, until her chin touched the steaming water and the ends of her hair fanned out to her sides. The bathroom was just as clean and put together as the rest of the cottage they were staying in. It had one main floor, with a basement, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. That's all there was ... From what she could tell, at least. It was surrounded by a beautiful garden and forestry she hadn't been planning to explore. For the first day, she spent most of her time in her assigned room reading and sleeping. There was cable, but no TVs in the rooms. She would have to go out to the living room, which wasn't appealing to her in the slightest. Dinner was had in silence and she was off to sleep as soon as her body would allow her to. On the second day, Mrs. Chambers decided to try and pull her daughter out of her voluntary isolation. They went outside into the garden and watered the plants and flowers like Mr. Sheffield had asked them to. Then, they had lunch together with Joey and watched some terrible movie together. After her bath, they were supposed to partake in some cranberry tea together. Mrs. Chambers had offered to make some and Noëlle couldn't find the words to reject it. At this point, she was seriously considering slipping further into the water and taking a long, deep, cleansing breath of H2O. She shook the thought off and wiggled her toes under the water, relaxing her muscles and leaning her head back.

This year, Announcement of KH3 is the winner! The fact that Plums isn’t a girl comes in second. Most Underrated Last Year's Winner: Kites & Rat Last Year's Runner-up: Feenie & Clawtooth An underrated member is more than one that goes unnoticed -- they're one that deserves to be noticed, but if they were noticed it would take the charm out of noticing that they're unnoticed. I'm also noticing that this might be the first paragraph to abuse that word so much. Moving on, cloud<3 was voted our most underrated member, followed by Amethyst and hyuge. I know it was meant as a joke though, burnitup, and it didn't offend me ( though I guess I did kind of feel bad but that's just because it's a struggle for me not to put these kinds of things first because I feel guilty ), but I also appreciate y'all ( Nova, Saxima ) not wanting me to feel hounded and saying something about it. For future reference, I made a status update about this and will be updating my profile again if something comes up. To be more specific, this is why I've been away. I've been spending this time kind of offline, resting, and when I update again it'll be more consistent. I'm going to lay low for the weekend and resume Monday, probably.
