After having felled the person who seemed all too cocky about themselves, it seemed that the person who had been taunting them this entire time just sort of got the message and decided to go and leave. While they chased after him, it seemed that they were then stopped by a giant barricade of wind. While Aoki was a bit cautious about this at first, Zephyr seemed all too gung ho to go and try to break through this wall, and slammed into it. The wall then seemed to cut at him and push him away from it, thus confirming that it was impassable. Walking over to him, Aoki extended a helping hand out to Zephyr to help him back on his feet as she heard what Caleb had to say. Pondering for a bit, Aoki then said, "well since Cassandra is probably out of the station now, we should go find the other S-Class guy. You know, the quieter one," she tried to explain, not really remembering what his name was at the moment. "But yeah, if there's someone who can help us break through the wall, or at least get over it, it'll probably be an S-Class." As Rho and Aias had both struck at the clay spirit again, it seemed that it was reeling back its axe, ready to slam it down on the two. Well, that was certainly going to be a bit on the troublesome side. Well, that needed to be dealt with post haste, and so Rho went into attack the creature with Blitz. After Lucia had assisted in making sure that Beucette didn't get eaten or something, this weird fish person seemed to try and tempt them into going towards her anyway. Not really wanting to try and see what this creature had in store, it was then that the group was informed by Caliborn the true nature of the creature, and all of her bad vibe senses that were tingling were warranted. Not really having to say anything more and not really wanting to reiterate what both Alisa and Caliborn had said, Lucia simply stood at the ready, in case things went south. Charlotte had listened to Gaius's story and was a bit confused about, well, everything within it. While everyone seemed to have their own gripes with the story, Dale seemed to take it harder than most everyone else. After he had gone through his fit of rage and then went off to go do his own thing, with a confused look on her face, Charlotte asked, "so why was it that the person in my body felt the need to consume paper and be extremely boisterous...and why did I hate the taste of paper?" While all of these questions and more seemed as though they would never be answered, Charlotte nearly went to go and strike down Boreal a second time. Seeing only the tail end of the torment that he and the S-Class had inflicted upon Dale, he heard him utter that this was all in the name of justice, which caused a fury to blaze in her eyes. The only reason she had held off on doing anything of the sort was because one of the other S-Classes had gone to tell them off himself and Boreal ended up back away in the tower. Settling herself down, she then turned with an unamused look on her face as she saw Edric and Thomas going into a drinking contest...that was the most horribly one sided thing she had ever seen. If only she had fought Kracka. At that point, Dale had come back to tell the S-Class member that there was a dragon that needed slaying. Charlotte's eyes widened at the thought of a dragon being nearby. Dragons were creatures of old that were terrifying monsters; harbingers of destruction. Wreaking havoc upon every area that they would soar through, they were monsters of legend, and legend was all that they needed to be. If such a fearsome being were to exist in these times now, it would be akin to what would have happened were Deliora released from his icy prison. Standing by to hear what Dale had to tell the dragon slayer, she was sure that the other members of her team were of like mind in wanting to make sure whatever was to happen with this dragon would end in a favorable way.
As Lucia watched in awe at the power that seemed to come from the Oracle. As they were all rocketed onto the turtle island, the group followed Balthazar into a building that seemed to be pretty well decorated. Not entirely sure what to be expecting here, it was then that apparently everyone started to drop their guard all at once. While Cal seemed to see someone who looked exactly like her, it was pretty apparent that whoever Balthazar had seen was not Cal. When Lucia had went to go look at whoever they were seeing, it was quite clearly not who everyone else had seen. She was physically stunned for a bit, trying to comprehend why the person she saw would ever possibly be here, or better yet, how they could be there. As she continued to ponder on this, she was snapped back to reality by three things. One, Mizuki's clear anger at the person before them. Two, Caliborn's warning at the person before them. And three, Beucette's lustful charge at the target before them. With all of these things combined, Lucia had come to realize that whatever this was, was definitely not something to be trusted, and Beucette running at the thing was most likely a very bad thing. "Stop!" Lucia yelled, as she had cast Stop on Beucette to stop her in the middle of her full sprint towards the fish person. Walking over to her, she gripped Beucette by the hair as, once the time stop had wore off, she dragged her back away from the tunnel saying, "put your clothes back on." Looking back to the fish person, she asked, "just who are you?" As the combination attack had struck the bedrock spirit, Rho had looked onward as the giant stone titan started to crumble and fall apart. As it did so, a piece of it seemed to come off of and float towards Rho. Grabbing it, it seemed to have some sort of strange power in it and Rho simply pocketed it, making no comment on the chunk of Bedrock. Looking to the Clay Spirit, it seemed to be a resilient foe that would solely prove to be a massive time killer more so than anything else. Regardless, Rho looked to Aias as he said, "shall we finish this as fast as we can?" With that, Rho used sliding dash on the Clay spirit.
With more dark guild members appearing out of every seam of the building, things might have been a bit hairy if not for the fact that Cassandra had been able to absolutely destroy them in a single swipe. Though, even she seemed to have her limits, as she started to pant from fatigue, she seemed to leave everything up to the rest of them as she went on to warn everyone else of the impending danger. Nodding to Cassandra, she said, "don't worry, you can count on us." Turning to the rest of the guild, she said, "come on guys! Let's show this guy that there's more than one person in this guild to be afraid of." With that, Aoki used fire dash on the dude. After Rho and Aias had managed to strike the bedrock spirit with a combined strike, it had seemed that the giant golem was seeming to be worse for wear. Rho had calmly stood there as the two spirits seemed to begin their continued assault on them. "Well then if they truly are a mirror of ourselves, then they are a bit of a shabby replica," Rho had said to Aias, "after all, you are the unbreakable shield," as he said this the two spirits' attacks were stopped completely by Aias's barrier surge, "and I am the unyielding sword. Neither of which these rocks can match up to." With that, Rho jumped at the bedrock spirit with a blitz attack. Lucia watched as all of their questions were answered by the staff summoning up some weird ancient looking spirit thing that was to answer any one question of theirs. Well, that seemed like a really useful thing, but something Lucia would have to think on for now. As everyone else seemed to ask their questions, Lucia was a bit befuddled by the two that were already asked. Beucette's was just confusing by nature of who the question came from, Malkira's was confusing for a completely different reason. Here she had thought this dude was just a really tall person in a stone suit or something who somehow breathed through that thing. But nope, as it had turned out, he was actually just someone made of stone. She didn't really know what to think about that, so she just sort of didn't. After some more moments of deliberation, Lucia had decided on what to do. Turning to everyone else, she said, "I think I'll just wait until we're back at the guild hall to ask my question to this thing."
As Rho had gone to assist Aias as he had requested, it was at that point that the voice had come to show themselves to the group. A person who seemed to be of complete green skin tone, which was a tad unusual, and apparently related, yet not related, to Nessa. Well, this was certainly an interesting turn of events. As she seemed to end the talk with them, monsters came up from the ground and it was all too apparent it related to the caskets they had chosen. Honestly, Rho wasn't entirely sure what the Modus Operandi of this summoner was, but it that didn't seem to truly matter. Sighing at the sight of the imposing bedrock giant wielding an axe, Rho muttered, "perhaps I really am the least intelligent of the bunch." Drawing out his blade, he got ready to fight as he turned to Aias. "Well, nevermind any sort of poor decision we might have had in the past. Would you accompany me in destroying this creature, and I the same with yours?" Not really waiting for an answer, Rho spun his two handed sword and charged at the creature with a sliding dash.
As the group had managed to completely defeat all of the dark guild members, Aoki had started to speak alongside all of her commrades. "Yeah, try and try again, but you won't be able to overcome us. No matter who you throw at us, the same fate will be met time and time again. So just give up now and spare all of your other guild members the pain you're going to cause them!" Despite trying to talk him down, she still had her keyblade at the ready, ready to take on any and all dark guild members that would come there way. Having lost the contest, Rho had simply gone back out to join everyone else and await the results of the contest. As it were, Rho hadn't actually planned on marrying Nessa anyway. She was an alright person and everything, and even though he had entered the contest, marriage wasn't exactly something that had struck his fancy. And as it were, no one seemed to be lucky enough to pick correctly. Rho had stood by and listened to what Nessa had to say, and how they were to never marry another person so long as they lived. Looking at Vance, he had noticed there was some sort of massive internal struggle going on, that he couldn't but help internally chuckle at with the nobleman's clear dilemma. As the group was ready to leave, they had heard a chanting coming from...something. This seemed to pique Rho's interest as he wondered just what could possibly be the cause of this. While Nessa and Zephyros seemed to immediately go and put the blame on each other, it was obvious that neither party was responsible for this. Vance seemed to quickly go up in arms against this unknown force, to which Rho figured some action by himself would be necessary. "You see, the only thing that children truly fear is things that are unknown," Rho had stated in a nonchalant tone. "So if you, the unknown voice, would be so kind to show yourself, then we could put these children's fear to rest. And perhaps," with a slight edge to his voice Rho said, "you could explain your intrusion here." Lucia wasn't entirely sure what kind of friendship active death threats were, but, she didn't really say anymore on that matter. As it happened to be, the guild apparently had rules written in ancient stone that they had to follow. It just so happened that one of those rules was that they had to attempt in killing all outsiders of the area on their arrival. Regardless of whether or not they were invited. This place certainly had odd traditions. Regardless, the guy, Balthazar, went on to explain just what scepter was meant for. Something known as the hand of midas. Lucia wasn't exactly sure what that treasure was, but uh, everyone else seemed to so she just sort of went along acting like she understood everything as much as the next guy, until she finally got it when the guy showed them the ship made entirely out of gold. So the hand had the ability to just make things gold? Well that certainly seemed...profitable. She wasn't entirely sure what they were going to do with it when they found it, but it seemed that their job was to find it so no getting around it. As Malkira seemed to be pretty intent on finding out more about both their reward and their mission, Lucia asked as well, "yeah. What exactly is going to happen when we use this staff?" Charlotte had just sort of been sitting around trying to get used to this physically much weaker body than her own, when she saw something that she could only look on with absolute horror. As Gaius just ate a piece of paper for virtually no reason, Rennette had come along to heimlich it out, only for Gaius to then do the exact same thing again after barrier surging away from Rennette. Charlotte was quite fed up with the antics displayed by Gaius, not so much because it was incomprehensible as to why he would do it. No. Walking over, behind her body, she went to go for the heimlich maneuver in quite the same manner that Rennette had. However, being Ra's body, such an act of physical might would not work. So instead, she went for it by thrusting an Aero into his/her gut yelling, "stop eating paper with my body!" Going in for another Aero each time she spoke she said, "I! Hate! THE TASTE OF PAPER!" And with that, the aerolich was completed.
http://i.imgur.com/kG7xGqp.png?3Rho had watched as Aias had volunteered to go first in this whole contest thing and seeing as no one else seemed to be brimming with excitement to take their own turn, not at all because they weren't actually online at the moment, Rho decided that he'd go and volunteer next. Turning to the rest of the group, Rho simply said, "I suppose of our group I shall be going second?" With no real objections being made, not like they really could be, the turn order was thus decided.
As Rho had helped strike down the duelist of the nobles, all that was left to deal with was the scrappy one of them. Looking at the young girl who had seemed to come to see how they were, and she soon went to go attend to the fallen mage of their party. "It's true," Rho had affirmed to the young Thea, "this fight is drawing to a close as we speak. Besides," he motioned to the last remaining suitor, "we have come here to show that when someone is rude to others without remorse or repentance for no other reason than their own ego, well they need to be taught a lesson." Looking to the Pirdish Lord, Rho but a sly smirk on his face as he said, "now then, let's see if you've learnt your lesson yet." With that, Rho used sliding dash on the Pirdish Lord.
As Lucia listened to how there was some sort of disagreement about the worth of the scepter between the leader of the guild and X, she then shrugged at what Cal had said and responded, "and even if he's not jealous, I don't think keeping a second in command around who wants to kill you is such a good idea." Lucia was wondering why X was even a second in command. He seemed to be way too aggressive and way too bloodthirsty to really warrant being in any sort of leadership position. Then again, she wasn't really so sure on the whole workings of this area anyway, so who knew, that could probably be normal. That was a bit unsettling to think about. Shaking that thought off, she looked back to Balthazar and asked, "so, where's this scepter guiding us to?"
After having defeated the second wave of people, and not going down in a single hit like the first wave, she felt a bit more confident in this fight. As Kageyama seemed to say that he was going to bring out the big guns, Aoki was about to retort with some confident statement about never going down...however, she just got knocked out for a few seconds by these dark guild members, so she figured actions would speak louder than baseless words. As such, Aoki, ironically, used Fire Dash on the Dark Guild Silencer. Having just struck one of the other nobles down, Rho noticed how the only mage of their team had just been knocked out. Ah well, couldn't perfectly win everything. Regardless, Rho got his sword ready to attack the Baron Falconbridge with a blitz attack. After having defeated X, Lucia had done a fist bump into the air as she said, "woohoo! Way to go guys!" Giving a thumbs up to the rest of them, she then looked at Alisa who asked about the downed guild member, to which she shrugged and said, "well I mean, he did seem pretty intent on killing us, so he'll probably be good just sort of lying there for a bit." As she started to follow the Balthazar dude, she then asked him, "so why exactly was X trying to kill you again?"
I posted.
"Oh. Shit." That was all Lucien could really say in response to what was going on with his field. Watching all of the monsters explode on his field from the blue eyes strike, he was then thrown off his feet and onto his back as a giant golden laser shot at him, exploding in his face. With just some like, lines on his body to denote that he was hurt, Lucien let out a cough as he was able struggled to bring himself back up and then looked to Beuce. Looking back at his cards he knew that he needed one card, and just one card to turn this all around in Lucien's favor. "It's my turn." With a dramatic pause, he then said, "draw!" He then drew the card with such force that a giant gust of wind just blew across the field with a giant streak of golden light following behind it. BGM Looking at the card he said, "alright with this, it's time to begin the counterattack. I hope you're ready for me to even the score here," he had retorted to Beuce with a cocky smirk. Pulling two cards out from his graveyard he said, "first, I activate The Black Stone of Legend's graveyard effect once again. By putting it back in my deck I'm able to put Red-Eyes Black Dragon back into my hand." After putting the first card back in his deck, he then slammed in another card into his spell slot as he said, "next I activate the spell card, Ancient Rules! With this card I'm summoning the Red-Eyes Black Dragon that I just put back in my hand, and summoning it onto the field." With that, a large piece of parchment appeared with some unintelligible writing on it, only to burst into crimson flames and have his signature dragon appearing onto the field once more. Pulling out another card from his hand and putting into the spell zone once again, he said, "now, just like your dragon has their attack made into a spell, so does mine. I activate the spell card, Inferno Fire Blast. And with that," the spell card infused its power into his dragon, causing the dragon to fire off a giant black and red fireball directly at Beuce,"you take twenty-four hundred points of damage directly. Now then, it's time to show you my signature dragon's second extra deck monster. I activate the spell card, Polymerization, to fuse the Summoned Skull in my hand with the Red-Eyes Black Dragon on my field." The archfiend and the dragon had appeared side by side as they started to swirl together as he chanted,"dark dragon of crimson flame and archfiend of lightning, here and now shall become one. A lord of infinite hellfire, the birth of a new king of demons. Fusion summon! Come forth, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon!" Out from the swirling fusion of the spell card came the new fusion of the two cards. "Now then, let's show the power of this dragon. Black Skull, attack Blue-Eyes White Dragon, with Archfiend's Chaos Flame!" With flames forming in its mouth, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon spewed out a burst of flame that consumed Blue-Eyes White Dragon, burning the dragon and destroying it, dealing pretty inconsequential damage to Beuce. Looking at his opponent he then said, "now then, I'd actually like to destroy your Tachyon Dragon, but since I can't at the moment, I can't really call it a win for me. You know? So, let's leave that slugfest for another match." Taking the last card in his hand, he activated it saying,"I activate the spell card, De-Fusion! I split my Archfiend Black Skull Dragon into Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Summoned Skull. Now Red-Eyes Black Dragon, attack Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, with Inferno Fire Blast." While his dragon fired off its crimson flame at the Tachyon Dragon it, predictably, lost the engagement and Lucien stood there as the explosion of his dragon from a retaliating golden laser had destroyed his dragon. Taking the damage from the attack, with a smirk on his face he said,"I activate my trap card, Red-Eyes Burn! And with that, we both take twenty four hundred points of damage. Something neither of us can take." A crimson silhouette of the dragon reappeared as it then exploded, engulfing both the players in a large red flame, dealing damage to both players and ending the duel. "And that's that."
#420BlazingYoloSwagSwagSwagOverloadOfAmazingness In english: Rho used Sliding Dash on Count Palatine.
Phantom Stratos Phantom hadn't been so successful in his endeavors of shooting the incorporeal birds out of the sky, and as they tore through him, he could feel some odd sense of hopelessness in him. While this did distract him for a bit, he still managed to see Bartholomew coming...from about a few inches from him. With a somewhat sloppy reaction, Phantom did a hasty step backwards as the sickle cut through his shirt and somewhat into his skin, leaving behind a bit of a wound after the attack was done. Noting that his rifle would probably be a poor choice for this fight at present, he simply slung it across his shoulder and looked to his foe. While he had something good for close quarters, he figured he'd save it until the proper moment came, and so he just drew out Kaminari. With a bit of a nervous smirk on his face he said, "well, looks like we get to finish up our fight from last time." With his blade crackling with electricity, Phantom charged at his opponent with a quick slash diagonally made at his torso, followed with a another slash in the opposite direction, in the shape of a sigil of the recusant...or an X. Or a Chi. Whichever works really. As Stratos was awaiting the results of his attack on the guy with the glowing sword, he figured something out pretty quick. First of all, magic was probably not the greatest of ideas. Secondly, magic was probably going to hurt a lot when it was shot back from this guy. Not really having the time to dodge the attack, he braced himself for the oncoming burst of energy, only to not feel anything at all. Man, if that was an attack, this guy wasn't nearly as threatening as he had first imagined him to be. Looking forward, he had actually realized it was because of a barrier that was conjured up in front of him. Looking to see that it was of the work of the person he was safeguarding, he simply gave her a thumbs up as he was ready to get going in and start up his counterattack. Spinning his keyblade like he had been to start up a strike raid, the air around it started to sucked in once more, causing the keyblade to be covered in, effectively a cyclone. Tossing the keyblade as hard as he could, Stratos then used a burst of wind from underneath his feet to propel himself forward and towards Rienzel. When the cyclone was within striking distance of the man, it suddenly dissipated with only a keyblade now flying at him. When there was a sufficient amount of distance closed between them, Stratos then called the keyblade back to his hand, after it had interacted with Rienzel and followed up with propelling himself forward with a sliding dash only to quickly chain in a quick hop with him swinging his blade down in an arc with a quick blitz.
After having dealt a swift blow to one of the nobles here, Rho had got ready to take on any incoming damage from whatever the suitors had to offer. As it had turned out, one of them seemed ready to parry any attacks that would(n't) come near him, another one of them seemed to come at him and start complaining about...well everything. While Rho could feel a headache coming on from this, apparently Aias had come to his aid and...tanked it? Rho wasn't entirely sure how that worked...at all, but it did. Turning his place towards the moping man, Rho simply said, "now then, would you like me to give you something to truly whine about?" And with that, Rho used Blitz on Count Palatine.
As Lucia had used her super magical girl powers to just get rid of any sort of stunning effect on the party, the party's counter attack had been strong, but not strong enough. The X guy still seemed to be up and kicking enough that he could cast one large ass spell that hurt like a mean mutha fucka. Ya dig? Regardless, the team couldn't take another hit like that, so Lucia decided to try and give it her all and take this guy down at this point. Throwing her knives all at once, Lucia used Strike raid on X.
As Rho was ready to fight, he heard the insults that was being flung at them and kept his composure. His face only really changed to a bit of a quizzical glance when Taylor started singing her song to prove her intelligence. Speaking in a slightly concerned voice towards her, he said, "I'm not sure that's the right formula you're thinking of," his voice then switched to falsely reassuring as he said, "but good try." Looking back to the suitors he drew his sword. "Well, then, I suppose I'll just have to teach these children before me how to distinguish fantasy from reality." With that, Rho charged Monsieur Le Bon with sliding dash. Aoki was not having a good day. Or really having a good experience with combat in general. After having been bashed in by two peoples shields and going down in an instant, Aoki brought herself back up with a slight groan of pain as her party mates helped her back up with the healing magic, saying a quick, "thanks guys," to her healers. Shouting back to Kageyama she said, "no! There's darkness in your hearts because you're clearly trying to kill everyone!" With that, Aoki used Aero on the Dark Guild Warlock.
Lucien knew just what kind of an opening move that Beuce was going to go with, as it was the only kind of opening one could use with the legendary and kind of underloved blue eyes deck. As he summoned up Waifu with Eyes of Blue, and placed a face down card, Lucien knew he'd have to do something about it this turn. There was most definitely a Blue Eyes in his opponent's hand, and there was a monster on the field. That all added up to mean that no matter what he did, Blue Eyes would definitely be coming out either this or next turn. "Alright then, douche bag with eyes of blue," he drew his card, creating this weird streak of blue light from the card as he did, saying,"let's see how well you can handle this burn." Taking two cards out of his graveyard, he showed them to Beuce."By using The Black Stone of Legends graveyard effect, I'm putting Red-Eyes Black Dragon back in my hand, and placing Black Stone back in my deck." And so he did. Placing the card he just drew in the spell zone he said, "next, I activate Cards of the Red. Now, I know I just used this last turn, so you clearly know what it does, but let me explain it again just in case you missed it." While he took in a deep breath, as if to start monologuing, he casually said, "it's red-eyes trade in." Discarding Red-Eyes B. Dragon, Lucien drew two new cards in its place, and proceeded to the next phase of his master plan. Swiping his hand to the side, he said,"now I activate my facedown. Return of Red-Eyes!" A giant hard light version of the card appeared in front of him which showed the trap card he was referring to."With it I call back that normal dragon I just discarded. Come back, Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" The hard light card erupted crimson flames from the picture as out from the flames came back the staple dragon of the deck. "Now, with two level seven monsters on my field, I use them as overlay materials." The two dragons turned into dark purple energy forms of themselves as they condensed themselves into orbs and flew into the sky. Invoking his summoning chant for this creature, Lucien recited, "dragon of deep crimson infernos and twin dragon of crimson flames, unite your flames and spark life in the furnace of hellfires." The two purple orbs flew into this weird spacial rift that opened up on the ground as Lucien yelled, "XYZ Summon! Arise, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!" From the rift, a stream of dark red and black fire spewed from the opening as a dragon that resembled a metallic version of the two dragons he had just overlayed rose from it with two golden spheres orbiting its body. The dragon had exhaust pipes on its joints, letting out a stream of flames as it let out a roar. "Now it's time to activate its effect. By getting rid of one overlay unit I can summon one Red-Eyes normal monster from my graveyard, and so here comes out Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon." As he said this, one of the orbiting spheres was absorbed into the body of the dragon as it let loose another roar, unleashing a torrent of flames into the sky, which then coalesced together into the form of the aforementioned dragon."Now then, since I still haven't actually normal summoned this turn, I gemini summon this dragon I just brought back." With that, the dragon glowed golden for a brief second as it was summoned again. "Now then, let's get this show started." Pointing to his XYZ monster he said, "Flare Metal attacks your Maiden." Now, while normally this would have been horribly one sided in his favor, the maiden had an effect that ended up having it switch from attack to defense mode, both negating the attack bringing a Blue-Eyes White Dragon onto the field. While Lucien didn't have anything direct stop this, he did anticipate it. Due to the effect of Flare Metal, Beuce ended up taking five hundred points of burn damage from activating her effect. Pointing to his Gemini monster he said,"next, Flare Dragon attacks your maiden again, with Inferno Flare Blast!" The dragon in question let out a large ball of dark red fire at the maiden, who had zero defense against this and was just obliterated from the scene. With that the battle phase had ended, and Lucien said,"now, because Flare Dragon attacked, you take twenty four hundred more points of burn damage." The dragon shot a blast of fire at the white haired fellow, hitting him with the effect damage. "Now then, I'll just set a card face down and end my turn with that." As Lucia had just done a good deal of damage to the X dude, she noticed that everyone else had taken a large amount of damage. Apparently, his massive magical wind damage had also left everyone stunned and unable to do anything. Fortunately for her, there was someone in front of her, taking all the damage for her. Well, that was pretty good for her. Giving her a good pat on the back, she said, "thanks for the assist!" Realizing that she couldn't just take on this person by herself, and since everyone else could way out damage her combined, Lucia decided to do everyone else a solid. Taking out her Wand of Light, she said, "protect my friends by dispelling any sort of ailment upon them!" And of course, having used the wand of light...Lucia transformed again. Well, that was a bit awkward.
Lucien Phantom Dragon Slaying Dueling. The only true way for people quite such as themselves to solve this problem. Without even having to ask or see what kind of cards he had, Lucien already knew the deck Beuce was using, just as he did his. However, there was something quite interesting about Lucien's hand, just as this was most likely the case with Beuce's as well...that being that the cards didn't actually really have any sort of definite form yet. They just sort of seemed to become whatever he wanted them to become as thought about it. Regardless, it was his turn first and so he had to go and start things off with a bang. Going to dramatically draw for a card, as his turn had started, the card wouldn't come out of the duel disk. It was at that point Lucien realized that he wasn't allowed to draw on the first turn because it was against the rules. Drawing the card from his deck, Lucien revealed it to Beuce as he said, "I activate the spell card, Dragon Shrine. Now you're probably wondering what this card does. Well there's a reason there's an entire wiki devoted to this shit." Actually throwing the card into the spell slot on the duel disk, Lucien used its effect, dumping Red Eyes Black Dragon into the grave, followed by The Black Stone of Legend. Setting in another spell card to be activated, he said, "next I activate Cards of the Red." Still not explaining it, he simply discarded a Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon and drew two new cards. Taking another card out from his hand, he played in the monster zone, "and now I summon, The Black Stone of Legend." With that, a gem with the colors of red and black had been summoned forth to the field. "Next I activate its effect, tributing it from the field to summon," the stone that seemed to burst into flame, as Lucien took the card from the field and placed it in his graveyard, replacing it with a new monster from his deck. "Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon." The flaming stone exploded to reveal a black dragon from it, taking flight onto the field. "I set one card face down and end my turn." However, Phantom had to act fast as the man had since responded by throwing some sort of rock spike or something at him, which Phantom had the ability to dodge pretty easily since there was still a fair bit of distance between the two. Swiftly evading to the side, it had seemed that the worst was still yet to come as a familiar face had started...flying towards him. In a swarm of crows. "Son of a Bitch." Noting that he'd definitely need both a bigger gun and perhaps a bigger boat to fend off these crows, he did the only real thing he could do at the moment which was classic third person shooter tactics. Imbuing his rifle with ice, he started strafing to the side and away from the crows, firing buckshot after buckshot of ice bullets at the crow storm. While it was probably not going to be enough to wipe them all out, the less crows the better. The trio that had thus been fighting the dragon hadn't really been making much form of headway it bringing it down. This thing was definitely thick scaled, and they all collectively weren't exactly the greatest fighting force against this beast. Jackie had decided to running towards it again, still lit with the green aura of Fever Pitch, she was joined by Blanc who was running beside her. With just a quick glance to each other, they nodded as Jackie jumped into the air and Blanc assisted her ascent. Using a combination of his gravity magic and incredible strength, he used his palm to push the mid-air Jackie higher into the air and closer towards the dragon. Switching to a more brown aura, Jackie had shifted command styles and brought her sword with a heavy swing onto the torso of the dragon, cutting through the scaly dark body. While she was in the air, the dragon brought one of his claws to intercept the girl, only for that claw to be intercepted by the white haired gravity mage. Striking the creature with his arm, Blanc held his own for a bit in pushing the creature back, only to inevitably lose the power struggle and be pushed back down to the ground. While he had landed with a crash, Jackie managed to land on the ground as softly as one could, only to then immediately be hit with a tail sweep and sent and flying and bouncing across the ground, quite like a skipping stone. While the dragon had turned its body to do this, the young knight of light had flown at its back, charging her blade with light and stabbing it into its back. Bringing her sword up, Charlotte had slashed it upwards, dealing more damage as the blade left the creature, only for the dragon to turn a bit and move its wing to slap Charlotte out of the sky and onto the ground, quite like the other two who had just fought it.
As Rho had gone off on his merry way, he had found that there were others who were apparently like minded in his objective. Seeing that he was first accompanied by Aias, next Zephyros, and finally Taylor, they had arrived in front of one of the nobles who had since evacuated the premises. While the person had seemed to think they were of the same opinion when it came to the young crippled lady, he would soon find himself slightly disappointed. "Come to my senses? No, you seem to be quite mistaken. For you see," putting his hand to chest as he continued to explain, "I never had really any intention on securing the lady's hand in marriage to begin with. As such, whether or not she is able to move on her legs are of no real concern of mine. However," he gave a shrewd gaze towards the so called noblemen, "I cannot simply condone such deplorable behavior from ones such as yourself. You who hold yourself in such higher regards to not only the commoners, but also ones of the same breed. With such contemptuous glances that you give to everyone who isn't perfect, I feel as though you need to be taught lessons that were skipped while you were growing up." Bending his legs into a fighting stance, he went to go grip his blade as he said, "let's see how much your status helps you out here."
