As Feldt sobbed, the two Haros spoke up, and their claim of "Lovey-dovey" made the girl drift from tears to gentle laughter, though more than anything she was laughing from how happy she was that Neil was alive and well. Through all of this, she didn't let go of him, as though she were afraid if she did he would stop being there.
Sumeragi approached the duo, seeing that Feldt had had her moment with the man, and prepared herself to speak to the Gundam Meister who should have died.
"Lockon, it's good to see you again." she said to him, with a smile. "I think there's a few things we should explain before anymore confusion happens. You seem surprised at Feldt being so happy to see you again, is that right?"
"It's because to Lockon, that incident never happened." a new voice stated, as the tallest of the Gundam Meisters entered; Allelujah Haptism.

"Allelujah!" Marie exclaimed, embracing the man as he entered.
Though he embraced her back happily, his expression quickly changed back to serious as he looked at Lockon, still holding Marie in his arms.
"Lockon, to us, you were killed a battle against Ali-Al Saachez two years ago when you left a damaged Dynames and attempted to shoot him down with a detached GN Cannon. Though you succeeded in shooting him down, he survived, and you died when the cannon exploded next to you, damaged by his last shot."

Lockon looked as though he wanted to say something, but knowing him, Sumeragi spoke first.
"It's true, Lockon." she confirmed. "You died because you weren't able to put aside your want for revenge for your family."
"Lichty and Chris died in the next battle." Feldt said quietly to him, still in his arms. "When the first Ptolemy was destroyed by the united governments GN-X Mobile Suits."
"I understand this must be a lot to take in at once, Lockon." Sumeragi said, "But I want to ask you something first. If you meet that man again; Ali-Al Saachez, the man who has killed you once already, will you be able to put your feelings aside and make sure that above all else you survive? If that isn't something you can do, we will be relying on Lyle and Feldt for sniper support without you from now on."
"Sumeragi..." Feldt said, unsure of how else to respond to her firmness.
"We've seen you die once before, Neil." she said, using his real name to point out how serious she was. "Between you, Lichty, and Chris, we've seen too many people die already. Before we let you back out there, we have to know we won't see you die again."

"Perhaps it's best that Zero's body is so pale and unattractive." C.C. said, having suddenly appeared next to Lelouch with no warning. "You wouldn't want somebody else finding him attractive now, would you, Kallen?"
If one were to draw their eyes away from the teasing smirk adorning her facial features right now, it would have been obvious that the swimsuit she wore was one that covered far more than normal swimwear would be expected to. Though it wasn't a one-piece outfit, the top half came down approximately to the bottom of her rib cage, while the bottoms appeared relatively normal in terms of skimpiness. While Zero would understand the reason behind this unexpectedly modest choice of swimwear, Kallen and anyone else watching would simply be left wondering why she was apparently showing less skin than usual.
"An advance warning, Lelouch." She said quietly, turning to Zero for a moment, after making sure that nobody else was within earshot of her words. "There are quite a few people who look human, but are not. It would be wise to be careful who you attempt to use Geass on, if you intend to keep that party trick under wraps."

A long pathway, with nothing but a pitch black storm in every other direction.
Thunder clapped and lightning flashed down, as rain fell below it, for yes, this place was far above the surface of the planet, in the border between spaces.
This was where Kriemhild Gretchen, the Witch of Mercy, and her master were planned to meet. The Dimensional Cradle.

"You're late." the man on the throne spoke, his entire body covered in shadow, obscuring him.
"I'm sorry, King of Destruction." the Witch said, bowing slightly. "I had to rely on that Doctor Scaglietti's ship to transport me here, and he is... a whimsical one."
"Hmph. There is no need for apologies between people like us, Gretchen." he said, beckoning the girl to stand once more. "What news do you bring?"
"Three items of significance." she began, "First, Caius Ballad is almost ready to begin his plan."
"He will fail."
"Second, Britannia's leaders appear to be in discussion with the king of Insalaum, Uther."
"Hrn. Something that could be used later, if necessary."
"The third thing... a huge number of pilots of robots and magical warriors has gathered together in a hot spring that wasn't originally on Disgaea. The result is that they have banded together under the name of ZEXIS, with the intention of supporting each other through any and all future events."
The figure on the throne sat silent for a while, before his features shifted into a maniacal grin, with his teeth bared.
"That I like." he said, laughing slightly to himself. "Yes... ZEXIS. This may prove to be a lot of fun yet."
"There is one more thing that may be of interest."
"Hn?" the man said, turning to face his underling again and seeing what she was showing him."
His grin returned.
"Gretchen, come with me. It seems that somebody else will get to play before ZEXIS."
Gretchen grinned in return, her own teeth looking as sharp and violent as the man's, as the Dimensional Cradle began to move...

The Name of the Doctor is an amazing episode. I won't spoil anything (on purpose) but it explains a lot of things, including some of the doubts people have expressed about the 50th Anniversary episode, and it does it AMAZINGLY.
Also it looks like Jenna-Louise Coleman will still be in the next season, so Clara fans, rejoice at that.

And we were explaining why he hasn't done it. That's all there is to it.
