This place was where his instincts had taken him.
It was run-down. Abandoned for the most part. And yet, there in the middle of the half-finished building, scribed into the concrete perfectly, were the runes he had seen in his "visions".
Rubbing the dust off of everything with his foot, he examined them. They were exactly as his visions had told him they would be. Every detail was perfect, and while Evik couldn't tell when they had been done, this entire thing had obviously been planned way ahead by somebody. But the question was; by whom?
It was obvious that he wasn't going to find the answer alone. He had no choice but to do as his visions had shown him.
He took out the small paper bag from his backpack and placed it in front of him, trying to stop himself from being embarrassed by the contents.
It seemed completely ridiculous, but his vision had suggested that the contents of this bag, which had been stored in warehouse not so far from the abandoned construction site that Evik was now stood in. It was certainly not easy to reach this place, but his almost-unnatural physique had allowed him to manage where few others would succeed. Nonetheless, the object in the bag was no what he was expecting. For, as he looked within the brown paper bag one last time, reaching his hand in to retrieve the object, he confirmed to himself silently that it did, in fact, contain what was blatantly somebody's idea of sexy lingerie. A tight-fitting black-laced pair of panties, adorned with a red ribbon, and a matching bra, to be specific.
He couldn't believe he was doing this. He hoped that his visions actually meant something, and that he hadn't just nabbed somebody's girlfriend's underwear. Though, considering the type of person that Evik thought would wear such revealing undergarments, they might thank him for taking them after all. He shuddered slightly at the idea, being slightly disgusted at the sudden thought that they might have been worn before they found their way to his possession.
That was enough dwelling on what the object was. He had come this far already, and his visions had been right. It was now or never. He was going through with the summoning.
Placing the clothing, if it could really be called that, in the center of the circle, Evik traced around the markings with a piece of red chalk, highlighting it, before lowering himself to his knees before it, and clasping his hands together.
Quietly, but audibly here in the silent loneliness of the construction site, he spoke.
"I hereby propose... that you step forth and take your place by my side." he said, his eyes closed, as the runic marking before him began to glow faintly.
"Thy weapon shall control my fate. Abiding by the summons of the Holy Grail; if thou dost accede to my request, answer me."
But nothing happened.
The rune continued to glow, but there was no reaction besides that.
Evik began to grow slightly confused. Had he done something wrong? But the words felt natural as though they were supposed to be spoken. Surely he hadn't--
Another vision struck him.
The figure of a man, older than Evik, standing there. He was saying something, but he couldn't hear the words. Just what was it...?
Coming out of the flash, Evik stood up and opened his eyes, looking directly at the runic symbol that was meant to summon what was called a Servant.
"Hear my voice, you who have made a deal with the planet's will." he said, louder than before. "I seek the Holy Grail, and I intend to acquire it, with or without your help. If you wish to benefit alongside me, then show yourself."
Evik was surprised at himself for a moment. Though he said the words of his own accord, it was the strength and charisma with which he had said it that concerned him for a moment. He had no idea he was capable of such a thing.
There was suddenly a bright flash that cut off Evik's thoughts, and a slight burning sensation on the back of his right hand, as a marking as red as blood drew itself onto his skin, and the shape of a young girl appeared in the summoning circle.
It had worked.

"My, my..." the voice of the girl spoke as the light died down. "Your voice really commands respect, doesn't it?"
The girl before Evik had fully taken shape, and now that he could see her clearly, Evik was certain that the underwear he had needed in order to summon her had belonged to this girl herself. He silently wondered what about it had been so significant to her that it could be used as such a powerful summoning item, but decided against asking that so soon. Instead, the girl spoke, looking into his eyes with her own mismatching ones.
"I ask of you... are you my Master?" she said, extending her gloved hand out towards the male as a princess might to her betrothed prince.
"I am." he answered her with a slight nod, placing his hand under hers, palm upwards, to return the gesture. "My name is Evik. That is the only name I have."
"Though my true name is something that I cannot speak to you without an order, the Class I have been called out under is that of Archer. You may use that as my name for the duration of this war." the girl replied, a smile on her face that Evik couldn't help but return.
Her taste in underwear aside, there was no doubting that this girl was truly beautiful. From her hourglass figure to her long, black hair, and everything else besides, she was stunning. And while Evik himself didn't harbour any kind of foolish notion that she could be anything other than a companion for the length of the Holy Grail War, he was inwardly very glad that she at least seemed to be somebody that he was able to get along with, at least so far.
"Archer, tell me something, before we begin." Evik said to her, looking her in the eyes seriously.
"If I command you, will you obey? If I tell you to kill, will you kill? And if I ask you to spare a life, will you do that?"
Her head tilted slightly, her expression changing to that of mild surprise, before it turned into a warm smile that threatened to make any heart melt.
"I do, my Master."

Spoiler: Selene's Team

Selene was somewhat taken aback. Her sister just said... but surely not?
"Gave up? But..." she began, before noticing the almost-tearful manner in which Luna had said it. Selene understood; it wasn't that she had wanted to give up, but that she had no confidence in her ability anymore.
“Luna...” she said quietly, determined to make her sister have renewed confidence, even if they had only just met up again after so long.
“Battle me.”

There was silence between them for a moment, before Luna stepped back, confused as to why her sister was challenging her suddenly. But Selene's expression was serious, and it didn't change.
“One versus one. Burbear against Necturna. If you're as bad as you think, then the type disadvantage shouldn't matter, right?”
As she spoke, she reached to her belt to take out one of her pokéballs, this one marked with a small green-and-purple shape on the ''forehead'' of the container. Luna recognised it almost instantly as the ball that one of Selene's favourites was stored inside of; the Grass-Ghost type Moru-exclussive Pokémon, Necturna. Even if Selene hadn't told her who she would be using already, it would have been obvious.

“I can't force you to keep going, Luna.” Selene said, looking directly into her sister's eyes. “But I can get you to prove to yourself that you're good enough to keep going.”

Digging holes was life's treasure.
This was truly what Andy W. Hol, one of the pilots of Aquaria M, believed. His power, to create holes in any material by finding and attacking the weak points in it all in one go, supported his theory, and with his will and his power combined, he had been digging tunnels ever since he was a child. There were small tunnels all over Tokyo, most of them made in secret, all made of them made by him. They were just big enough for somebody to sneak around underground like this. But this tunnel was different. This one was bigger than the ones he usually made, and he was curious.
This was how Andy lived his life, alone. Alone that is, until he heard those voices.

"Hey! You!"
"B-Bro! Don't do that! It might be a rancor!"

He didn't recognise those voices. They weren't people he knew, but they were all up in his hole already. Andy found himself almost wanting to kick them out... but at the same time, they were in his hole. Maybe they were like him?

"Hey, what's up with you two?" he called back to them, greeting them with a smile.
"You fall in here? Sorry about that! I might've dug a little close to the surface back there. You aren't hurt, right?"
He stood up and turned towards them, but before he got right up to them, he noticed the shorter one's appearance. He knew for sure that this person was like him.
"Hey, you there. Uh... short kid. You're exactly like me, aren't ya?" he said, looking at him, his grin growing larger. "You're a digger at heart, just like me! Man, being underground like this must be just what your nature led you to, right? Let me show you some of the stuff I found down here."
Rummaging in his pockets, Andy found a small gemstone there, green and shining like some sort of star.
"Pretty nice, huh? It's something I found recently. One of my favourites."
He thought for a long moment as Simon appeared to admire it. In response, Andy took ahold of his wrist, opened up his hand, and placed the gemstone in it.
"Keep it. Consider it a token of our kinship as diggers! The name's Andy. Andy W. Hol. I'm an Element user of Nintendo High."

What do they do?: Zafkiel has time-affecting properties that are focused through a bullet into a single target. Depending on the bullet used, of which there are several different ones, the affect can speed up, slow down, rewind, or even stop a targets time. This can also be applied to oneself, in which case the bullet will do no physical damage. Zafkiel's ultimate ability, however, is a form of temporal distortion that allows many versions of herself from different points in time to stand by her side. These versions of her can be killed easily, but injuries dealt to them will not affect any of the others.
