~~Avia ~ Quarantined Northern District~~ Choosing to ignore the new arrivals out of a mix of rudeness and being tired of just how many people Link managed to somehow pick up, Archer stayed silent as the group began to approach a large metal gate that had been constructed to keep everyone out. Then again, considering what had happened to the district, perhaps it was more accurate to say that it was there to keep whatever creatures were in there from reaching the rest of the city. "This may be the last chance we have to prepare ourselves." Archer stated to them all, looking around briefly. "Ready your weapons, and we'll go." After a moment of everyone performing last checks on their weapons, armours, and any other tools they had on their persons, the team took an extra step towards the gate. "Hold it." a voice spoke out. "You can't go past here." "We have been ordered to clear this district, on Lord Masamune Date's authority." Archer responded, looking directly at the man seriously. With a sigh, the man nodded, before coming down to see to the gate himself. "You guys are the 5th team going in here, you know that?" he said, as he began to do something unseen to the door. "Only three of the soldiers that went in there ever came back out, and even they wished they hadn't ever gone in." "What can you tell us about what's in there?" Archer asked the man as he finished his business with the gate. "Freaky stuff. Never saw the creatures with my own eyes, but you hear sounds sometimes. See odd glows in the darkness sometimes. And the way the place looks now... it's not our city anymore, I tell you that much. Gate's open, you can go in, but I'm locking the gate behind you." "You've been helpful. Thank you." Archer said, bowing his head ever so slightly, before turning to the rest of the team and signalling that they should follow him in. Spoiler The very first look at the area told the group that what they were facing was nothing normal. The air was thick with some kind of thick, dark-purple mist that tasted slightly sour, yet had no describable smell to it. Every surface was coated with a thin web-like substance of the same colour, with white strands mixed within it. And, perhaps most disturbing of all... everywhere was completely void of anything. The web-covered buildings and bridges were all that seemed to provide evidence of human civilisation. Everything else, every market stall, every lantern, and even all the doors were completely webbed over, forming strange-looking masses that showed no evidence of what they used to be. This part of Avia was no longer for humans, that much was clear.
~~Hot Springs ~ Men's Section~~ "Hey, it's true, you know?" Duo spoke up from one side of the pool with his eyes closed, in response to what Mina had said. "You don't have to be a man to be a man. Whether you have testicles or chesticles don't really matter. It's what's inside you that counts." He took a sip of his drink , eyes still closed, and then finally opened them, realising that a few people were staring at him for what he said. "W-whoa, hey, don't get the wrong idea, it's not like I'm some prophet of the equality gods or somethin', I'm just sayin' I've seen a bunch of women that can stand proud as much as any men, an' Mina here's one of 'em!" What Duo hadn't realised was that what he had said in his own defense had ended up only further making him seem like what he had attempted to claim he wasn't. Meanwhile, Guy, who had never once been in this situation before, had no idea how to react to Mina's actions, and could only blush at how blunt she had been. With his Evoluder strength, he could have easily broken free had he chosen to, but the fact was that the suddenness of the situation, coupled with Mina's carefree attitude, simply made him not even consider it as a possibility. ~~Hot Springs ~ Private Bath~~ "So, your robot, Gunbuster...From what you said, it sounds like it's a two-pilot machine like my Lazengann. Are the cockpits set up the same? One in the 'head' and one in the 'torso'?" Genome asked Noriko, having went into some sort of "mecha-geek mode" all of a sudden. "Man, it would be pretty cool to see your Gunbuster and my Lazengann standing side-by-side, arms crossed and ready to take on the universe!" "Oh, well..." Noriko began, slightly taken aback by the question. "Well, Gunbuster was combining machine like Lazengann, but the two halves weren't like Lagann and Zen. When separate, they were designed to be space-flight capable ships on their own. When combined, Buster Machine 1 and Buster Machine 2 became Gunbuster, and the two cockpits rotated so they were next to one another in the chest, side-by-side. But well... on our last mission, Kazumi and I had to sacrifice Gunbuster to save everyone else, and all that's left is the main body, the head, and an arm. There's not a lot of chance of it being repaired now." ~~Avia ~ Finally getting somewhere~~ Masamune was somewhat irritated by the boy asking for directions, on account that he had already pointed out to them all where it was from the window, and Avia was not a difficult place to navigate. However, just as he had been about to snap back about this, his guard, Flynn, spoke up. "I apologize for our guests behavior my king." he said, "I do however have a request. Might I travel alongside these people on their journey? As your ambassador I see it most fitting I supervise them." "Yes, do that." He said, holding himself back from yelling somehow, despite that being his usual manner of speech. "Lead them there, and make sure they don't come back until the area is cleared. I trust you with this, Scifo."
That would be "good madam" to you. As for what you said before, I assumed by "into the show" you meant into the anime. It's not really a taboo in the games, it's just that the baby isn't a Pokémon by itself. The Stadium games and its sequels have had the baby leave the pouch for certain animations on occasion though.
Taboo? I'm not seeing it. Personally I'll agree a little; I'd have liked to see a little more change of both parent and child, but I'm not exactly disappointed. The fact that they're cool with making the changes different like that depending on the Pokémon encourages me to like it more actually. They aren't just looking at making everything bigger and more badass, but genuinely putting careful thought into them all.
You may want to look again. The baby has mutated a lot. Darker and more armoured-looking skin, several ridges on the body that weren't there before, imo the baby looks a lot different to before.
MegaKangaskhan was confirmed earlier today, and in a surprise move, the baby evolves rather than the parent, and they gain the ability to use their moves together, resulting in essentially attacking twice. This is due to their special Ability called Parental Bond. With this kind of new level of diversity, so many things have the potential to happen, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else can Mega Evolve.

Spoiler; it actually turns out to be Sad Hoshi in a fat suit.
Fun fact; translated literally, the Death Egg is called the Desu Eggu. http://images.wikia.com/uncyclopedia/images/0/08/Desu_Inside.png
ISFJ, so I'm Terra. Appropriate. I'm down for it.
Barely anything. You can catch up by reading some of the posts when you have a free moment, but there aren't all that many important ones.
~~Central Park~~ With Kari, Mimi, Sora, TK, Matt, and now Joe all having arrived, Tai was about to go and order everyone food as Matt had suggested, until suddenly, Mikey showed up... with his own Digimon partner! "Mikey, you're a Digidestined?!" Tai said in surprise. This changed a lot. At first it seemed as though only the kids at camp had been made into Digidestined. But then they had met with Takato and his team, Henry and Rika, and their Digimon. Then Kari had turned out to be a Digidestined, and now even Mikey had appeared with his own Digimon. "I see. This really helps me with my theory." Izzy said, typing something more into his computer. "You see, I've been looking at everything we've done in the past, and it all comes back to one thing. Before any of us became Digidestined, we saw a Digimon with our own eyes. Think back; for us it all linked back to Highton View Terrace, where we all first saw Greymon fight Parrotmon. Takato drew Guilmon based on seeing Agumon years ago, Henry saw Terriermon in his video game, and Rika was sought out by several Digimon because of her potential before meeting Renamon. Mikey meeting Shoutmon shortly after learning about our Digimon only solidifies my theory; to be a Digidestined, you first have to have seen a Digimon." "Alright, but what does this all mean?" Tai asked, slightly confused. "It's great that we know and all, but where does that leave us?" "Essentially, it means that anyone has the potential to be a Digidestined. The fact that we were chosen long ago is probably the only thing that makes us special, if we are at all. That and our Crests that allow us to reach the levels above Champion." "So there could be even more Digidestined out there? Well that settles things then, we have to find out if there're any other of us out there nearby that we can work together with!" Tai said, stepping forward and declaring this like a true leader. Suddenly Tai was interupted by a shining light enveloping Growlmon, who suddenly shrunk in size and mass until he regained Rookie size, which was still fairly large, a little large than Agumon, but slimmer. "Hey, I'm me again!" Guilmon said happily, looking at Takato. "Takatomon, look, Guilmon again!" Takato gave a small but happy laugh and embraced his partner with a smile in response, saying; "It's good to have you back, boy." "Well how about that? He turned back into Guilmon already! Y'see, what did I tell you? There was nothing to worry about, Takato!" Tai said, grinning and patting the boy on the back. "Now how about we all go get that food at last?" "Sure, but hold on a second." Takato said, before standing and turning to face a nearby tree, against which his friend, Rika Nonaka, was leaned against. "Hey Rika!" he called to her, waving a little. "We're gonna get something to eat? You wanna come?"
In Nick's name, I reserve; Lie Ren (RWBY) Also confirming Nora Valkyrie as mine, and Pyrrha Nikos as Bushy's, both also from RWBY. EDIT: Also taking Korrina (Pokémon X and Y).

~~Avia ~ Finally getting somewhere~~ Archer merely raised his eyebrow in response to Link's protests, before quietly leading the way towards the meeting room. "Who goes there!" A loud voice shouted before the door. "What buisness do you have with His Majesty? Answer me this and if the answer is that of loyalty and trust, I believe you should be able to enter." Toon Link looked at him in confusion. "Archer said we should see this guy about getting princess Zelda back." "Master Archer you say. Can he confirm this?" "I can." Archer responded, stepping forward. "These people are the soldiers that Avia will be providing support for, should the discussions go to plan. I assume you will be joining us in the meeting room?" The dual doors opened slowly, revealing the green-and-gold decorated meeting room. Several people sat along the massive table that was the focus point of the room, including, sat at the far end, a young man who sat in a very elaborate golden throne. It could be assumed, then, that this boy was the king of Avia. Spoiler: Entering at last... Bowing slightly, Archer spoke first. "Masamune Date. I have brought them." he said, "Good. I was starting to wonder if any of you were going to show up." the young man said, standing up. To the surprise of most, Masamune's voice was actually very oddly similar to Link's own. "As Archer said, I am Masamune Date. Avia is my kingdom. That means while you're here, my rules are obeyed. That said, I have respect for anyone with skill in battle, and from what I've heard, your party has a great deal of it." the king began, pacing slightly as he spoke. "Your Archer says you want help to take Temporal Tower. I've decided to give it, but there's a condition. Look out of the observation window there at the back." Directing everyone's attention to said window, which was incredibly large actually, a small section of Avia could be seen to have been quarantined off from the rest, and seemed to be emitting a faint aura of purple. "Down there is a section of Avia which was hit by some kind of demon-rock from the sky. Since then the area has been plagued with savage creatures that have killed everyone we sent in to clear it." He turned to the group with a slightly mischievous smile. "What better way to test your skill than this? If you can remove the threat, you will have earned the help of my kingdom." ~~Sea-swept Island Coast ~ Claw vs Fang~~ Nothing that BlackWarGreymon said seemed to make sense. Why did he care if he had a heart or not? Did it truly matter whether he had such a thing? Evidently so to him, but what did attacking a Rookie-level Digimon have to do with that? "If you have a heart, you aren't going to find it by killing everyone you meet!" BlackGabumon said. It was in vain however, because as soon as those words had left his mouth, he was sent flying with a harsh kick that sent him hurtling through the sky, before he slammed hard into the cliffside just off the coast he had been standing on before. His entire body felt sore suddenly, though that was no surprise. Staggering back to his feet after he had hit the ground, he tried to refocus himself before the next attack came. He hoped he would be in time to at least try to dodge it, but really, against a Mega-level he didn't have a lot of confidence. There was no way a Rookie was going to win this.
Hector and myself, and therefore two members of staff, were aware that I had taken them. I had just yet to post it here because I kept over-focusing on Digimon. That and I didn't realise that anybody else played DW so I figured it wouldn't matter if I announced it or not. I'm willing to give you one of the other Guans if you want them though, since you are right, I didn't post it in this thread, but Guan Yinping I've had partial plans for, and completely adore her. Just in case now, also reserving; Lu Bu (Dynasty Warriors) Zhang Chunhua (Dynasty Warriors) Xu Shu (Dynasty Warriors)
Sorry, but the Guan family is mine, I'm afraid. Sorry to disappoint.
~~Central Park~~ "Well gee, I don't really know what we can do to help with that..." Tai admitted to Takato, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. "You see..." Agumon said, mimicking his partner's embarrassment at not being able to help. "Every time one of us Digivolved before, we changed back right away when the fight was done." The problem that Takato was currently facing was a big one. During a battle with one of the now-defeated Myotismon, Guilmon had Digivolved to his Champion form for the first time. Growlmon, as he was now called, had beaten the Devidramon with relative ease, but the difficulty came with the fact that he didn't seem to be able to deDigivolve back into Guilmon, and with Growlmon's much larger size it was going to be hard to hide him much longer if things went on. "I wonder..." Izzy said, sat down and typing things into his laptop. "Every time one of our Digimon has reached Champion level for the first time, it happened back in the Digital World rather than our own. If my theory is correct, then Growlmon would have had to take on a lot more data for his first Digivolution than normal due to being here in the real world, and that's given him a lot more energy for keeping up the larger form than normal." "But... does that mean he's going to be like this forever now?" Takato asked, a look of worry spreading across his face. "There's no way I can hide him from everyone when he's this big!" "Relax." Tentomon chimed in, flying in front of Takato's face. "What he means to say is that it may have lasted longer than normal, but Growlmon will be Guilmon again in no time. Just have patience." "You mean it?! You hear that, boy?!" Takato said, looking up at Growlmon with a wide smile. "You'll be back to normal in no time!" "Well there's other stuff we have to discuss, but since nobody else has gotten here yet, let's eat!" Tai said with a grin, to which Agumon quickly agreed, throwing on his elaborate disguise (consisting entirely of a hooded jacket), and preparing to go with his partner. "Tai, wait a minute. Don't you think we should wait until everyone is here so we can all order together?" Izzy interupted. "Oh yeah... I guess that makes more sense..." Tai replied, a little disappointed as his stomach rumbled. "But Tai, we skipped breakfast!" Agumon complained. "I'm so hungry, I could eat a digital horse." "I don't think they serve those at Subway..."
