I'm definitely liking Rowlet the most, but all three starters look fantastic, and I've never felt so excited in my life. It's also worth noting that the Japanese trailer is different in every way and shows off some really neat little touches, like the player character physically picking up the starter you pick.
To be totally honest I'm really confused as to why Zygarde is being given away. Xerneas and Yveltal makes sense because they're shiny, but unless I'm missing something, Zygarde is just perfectly normal, without even a special move. I'm also kind of unimpressed that, at least so far, it seems like the shiny duo won't be distributed in most of Europe, unless they surprise us at the end of the Zygarde event.
Leave it to me, plip!
Alright, the plan is formed, and if we delay longer we'll definitely be eaten or smashed. So with that said, I've taken the liberty of loading the cannons. We can fire at will!
They attacked us without provocation, to be fair. If they wanted to be respected then attempting to murder us on sight wasn't exactly the best way to go about it.
If it's an animal then in theory we could tame it and train it to recognize us as not being a threat. We're pirates. Why kill when we can recruit?
And so we've been had again. This time I honestly was expecting more information. If the first reveals come next month, then that will only leave 4-6 months between that and the actual release of the game, depending on when during the "holiday season" they mean. That short of a wait is really unusual for Pokémon. If I remember rightly, X & Y's release came an entire year after the first trailer had aired, giving us our first looks at Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. I hope this isn't a sign that there isn't much to reveal. I definitely want more than 69 new non-event Pokémon. I understand that 7 generations of the game across 20 years is a lot, and that there comes a time when ideas aren't as plentiful, but this world has so many animals and other things that have never been used as inspiration for a Pokémon. Even ones that seem as though they would be obvious choices. It would be a shame if 70 or less became the standard from now on.
I'm gonna eat it. It may take a while and I might also get eaten in the process but I'm gonna eat it.
Honestly extremely disappointed, but should not have been surprised. The only other information we got is that there will be "More than 10" new Pokémon, which... isn't really information at all.
The two gifs are of fairly low quality, and it's very hard to make out some of the text in the Eternal Dreamer one, so my vote would be on the Kitty Pryde one, which also matches your avatar since they're both comic-related.
He's Battler Uroshimiya from Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I mean uh he's me, obviously, I am vampyr. A very well-dressed vampire. disclaimer: Battler is not actually a vampire and just heavily resembles one in his cape.
At last I thematically match my vampiric nature.
The WiiU version of the game has been distributed early to several Youtubers, who have been allowed to show ten minutes of gameplay before its official release.
By characteristic I mean features such as "slanted eyes", typical to people of strong Asian decent, and so on. The kind of traits that would allow you to recognize an African-American man as African-American, even if he were albino. I think in the case of parents being from separate countries, their child is considered to have dual-nationality, so you would be correct in identifying yourself as Mexican-American. I don't think citizenship has an affect on your Nationality, but I do know that if you're born in a certain country, you automatically have citizenship there. I don't know the specifics on how Nationality changes, but I think you're right that it can.
Anyone of any race can be of any nationality. It's entirely unrelated to the others. There are people of all races in America, after all, and all of them equally American. I believe it specifically refers to the country you were born in, however, so you would be legally of Mexican nationality, not American. Race and ethnicity are, from my understanding, essentially two words for the same thing, which is your skin tone and physical characteristics.
I can confirm that at least one of the ships was made nearly entirely out of cookie dough.
It's been confirmed that Sun and Moon are an entirely new generation, with a new region and new Pokémon.
I feel like the reason these threads don't really work anymore is because the functionality of the thread before it gets near 5000 is essentially the same as The Lounge now fills.
I'm gonna eat the enemy ship.
I find it both interesting and hilarious that Red was consistently more popular but Blue/Green consistently played better. I wonder if that says anything at all about the types of people that choose each version, or whether it was just simple luck and coincidence.
