The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star is a three-episode OVA prequel to the manga series The Ancient Magus' Bride. The story follows Chise, a teenage girl, and the frightening, loveless past that led her to be apprenticed--and betrothed--to an inhuman sorcerer named Elias. The OVA is animated by Wit Studio, who you may recognize as the studio responsible for the anime adaptation of Attack on Titan, as well as The Rolling Girls, Seraph of the End, and Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins. The first half-hour OVA episode released last week, with the second scheduled to release in March 2017 and the third in September 2017. ...At least that gives me time to read the manga? ;__;
