Dee cackled with laughter at the burp. "Excuse you." She snorted as she picked up a slice of the beef on the prongs of her fork. "If that burp is really anything to be excused for, wasn't exactly big." She chuckled.

"Good for you." Dee replied, wrinkling her nose at the sheer amount the boy was planning on stuffing down his throat. After a moment or two she herself started to put food on her plate. However it was no where near as much as what her male friend had plastered his plate with. A spoonful of peas, a single Yorkshire Pudding and a couple of small slices of roasted beef. All of which was topped off with a trickle of gravy. To anyone else it would seem like a tiny amount of food, but to her it was one of the biggest meals she'd had in a long long time.

"Dude..." Dee said in awe as she looked at the piles of potatoes, mountains of mutton, gallons of gravy; everything just looked so amazing. Everything was so much better then she'd ever eaten before, it was real food not stuff that's made half-assed or just snack food. A real meal.

"Oh screw my Dad." Dee grinned. "He hates me anyway, it's not like he can hate me any more. And welcome Jaymes." She added on, patting her newly sorted housemate.

"I'm sure we'll see Gryffindor Tower in time, but first it's the feast. I want to see if Hogwarts food is all it's cracked up to be, I always heard school dinners were meant to be frightful." She giggled quietly so as not to disrupt the Sorting that was still carrying on. "Though I have to admit... I feel kinda bad about all of us being placed in Gryffindor. I hope we'll get to see a lot more of Maria despite it, she was nice. Just with us being in a different houses it might be difficult..."

OOC- Thankies Divine_Lunatic ^^ It was alright.

The next name to be called out was Dee's, the booming voice called out her somewhat unusual name across the Great Hall.
    "Cadea Bloodcape."

With a fastening heartbeat Dee moved her way to the front, her legs trembling beneath her. Nervously she sat down on the edge of the wooden stool and had the Hat placed onto her head. Almost immediately she was plunged into darkness as the large hat fell down over her chocolatey eyes.

"Hmmm...." Came a voice inside her head. "Aren't you the difficult one. Ambitious, cunning, sneaky. Everything that makes the perfect Slytherin."

Dee felt crestfallen as her worst fears came true around her, she was no good. Just like her rotten father, her foul family and every other He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named supporter that had ever existed.

"But!" The voice continued sharply. "You're not happy with that idea, are you Dee? And you're a brave girl, you've seen so much in your day-to-day life that it's impossible for you not to be courageous. And you're smart, no doubt about that. In fact, you'd do well in any house you pleased I imagine."

She lifted her head slightly, she'd never been told she could achieve anything of worth before. Let alone intelligent or brave. Maybe there was more to her then what her father told her, just maybe.

"But there's a boy isn't there? A friend, that boy who I just sorted to Gryffindor. And for you to show your full potential you'll need support, someone to help you when you need it. Just that little extra confidence that even when things do go wrong you'll have a friend to fall back on. So I'm going to make a call I never have before, instead of choosing by your qualities I'm going to choose by what you need to make the most of those qualities. So my dear, you better be in-"

"GRYFFINDOR!" The Sorting Hat exclaimed for the entire school to hear.

Dee grinned in delight as the hat was pulled off of her and she ran to join her newly made friend. Maybe things would be better here, no. Things WOULD be better here.

"How can you think that this is good? We've like shrunk!"

    "Oh no, never." Casey laughed.

Elle giggled as she let go of his hand and skipped over to their room's door. She jumped into the air and spun 180 degrees to face him again with a sweet smile resting on her lips.

"He is twenty three you know." Casey chuckled. "And getting married today at that."

"Too someone, might I say, who is pretty damn hot." Ben said with a slightly shifty expression.

    "Ben!" Elle exclaimed, facepalming hard.

"What? She's not that much younger then me you know." He said indignantly. "Smaller age gap then between you and your husband."

Whilst Lyra had snuck off from her family, Casey was stuck with his own. His mother had gone off with his oldest sister to go buy some new robes and to have a look around for a dress for her prom that was to take place that school year during the Spring Term. Which had left him babysitting for the terrible twins Ben and Jenie. Both of whom were now seven years old and as wild as ever. He was having to tear down alleyways to retrieve them, blocking them from going into Knockturn Alley, bargaining with them for even just a moment's rest.
"Come on Mum... I have stuff I need to buy too..." He mutter wearily to himself, after all he was having to be Head Boy this year. He had to have everything to set a good example for everyone else in the school, or at least so he'd been told in his letter.

OOC- I think she should keep it quiet for a while. Like until Christmas or something. That way we can have Casey talk to her about it in a more real way then him having to stumble across it.

"Are you high?" Conni asked with a look of extreme disbelief on her face.

"Yes, otherwise you would of just gone head over heels down those stairs." He chuckled.

"Well Divination was my best subject." Elle giggled.

Conni, along with her daughter and youngest son made their way over to the seats that were laid out on the lawn in front of a large, sparkling lake.

Elle say down with her oldest daughter, Jamei, and niece Immy near the front of the rows of chairs.

    "This is so not good..."

"I'm not kidding you know." Casey said as he skipped the last step and put Lyra down again. "My Dad's a clumsy man."

"Well if we go into our room there won't be anyone around." Elle smiled coyly.

"So what are we going to do?"

"Yes actually, several times." Casey chuckled as he started his way down another flight of stairs.

"How about you show me a couple of these things?" She giggled seductively, continuing to sway gently whilst holding tightly onto his hand with both of her small, delicate ones.

"I did nothing, it was all the old woman!" Casey whined as he struggled his way out of the bush. However he had to quickly duck back into the bush to avoid a clip around the back of the head. "Alright! Sorry! You're not old!" He exclaimed.

    "Good boy." Conni smirked.

"It's like majorly weird." Conni agreed, her eyes widening slightly.

"What?" Casey asked in a casual tone, as though he wasn't doing anything that wasn't one-hundred-and-ten per-cent normal.

"Oh could you now?" Elle giggled, grasping his hand and swaying gently.

"Oh you shush." Casey said as he looked away from his mother and towards his son. However, the glance was badly timed as it resulted in him being shoved into a nearby bush.

Conni, oblivious to the fact Casey was no longer actively trying to irritate her, contined to try and bat him away. Managing to smack him in the temple on the left hand side of his head with the base of her palm, resulting in the hilarity of Casey flailing dramatically as he tried to keep his balance and, of course, failing to do so.

At the sight of her dearest, darling older brother embarrassing himself in front of the entire family Elle cackled in delight. Not only had her brother made a prat out of himself by being knocked down by his fifty-something year old mother but she'd had a front row seat to his humiliation.

"Oh I'm sure." Casey replied cutely, swaying from side to side in a childish manner. After a moment he looked around sneakily and charged at Lyra; picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder and wandering down the hallway with her draped over him.

"No kiss back?" Elle said in a babyish voice, pouting in an adorable manner that would make most paedophiles drool everywhere.

"Anyway, back on subject. We're like fifteen again!" Conni exclaimed, diverting the topic back onto the matter at hand rather then expensive clothes.

Dee stood up from her seat upon the vibrating carriage floor and wandered over to the older girl. "Thank you." She said gratefully. "You know, I think you have more money there then me and my Dad put together."
