"Yeah... That's him..." Dee nodded. Her father's snake-like hiss from at the station slipping through her mind, the hiss that told her if she wasn't a Slytherin not to bother coming home ever again.
OOC- It's okay ^^ "That's what they want you to think, they lull you into a false sense of security then attack you when you least expect." Casey said, raising an eyebrow in a suspicious manner. "And then, ah then, you see just how dangerous two cute looking children can be."
"Anyway, you better go stand at the front youngster. Lake's going to be here soon, don't want to look disorganized."
"No. Why the hell do we need Muggle Money? It's not like we're Muggles." Dee said with a puzzled expression. "Besides, my Dad hates Muggles so he wouldn't take it even if we needed it."
"We're on benefits." Dee explained. "It's something like twenty Galleons a week. It's enough for us to get by, but not enough to really live on I guess."
"As you know I just have my Dad, he doesn't work and is home all the time. Basicly he just sits around and tries to find ways to entertain himself..." Dee explained, trailing off at the end once again.
"I doubt you could anyway." He replied, going back to watching the two children running around in circles playing a never-ending game of tag with each other. OOC- Okies
"She's had to deal with, pretty much on her own, me; the hyper-active drama-queen, Elle; the tearaway teen, Ben; the grumpy werewolf and Jenie; the melodramatic scene starter." Casey observed. "Of course she's going to be 'bad'." He chuckled.
"The only reason she's any good is because she's my sister and my mum would murder me if I did anything you know." Casey sighed. "That and I'm a girl." Elle added with a shifty expression.
"Oh yeah, as usual. I feel like a nanny, only I don't get paid for it." He chuckled as he ruffled the back of his hair. "At least I get to set them on people who annoy me I guess."
"I'm not around here enough to make it worthwhile anyway." Ben said sneakily, once again looking shifty. This time earning a large smack across the back of his head from his older sister. "Hey!" He yelped, rubbing his head. "I'll bite you if you do that again Elle." He muttered. "Alright you two knock it off! Ophelia stop hitting your brother and Benjamin you know that you don't even joke about biting people. Especially your sister!" Conni scolded as she grabbed the both of them by the ears. "Got that kiddies?" She snarled in a somehow sweet tone. "Yes Mum." Ben replied as he squirmed to escape his mother's clutches. "Yeah yeah!" Elle said as she managed to pull herself free, rubbing her ear slightly. "Good. Just remember that if you act like children I am going to treat you like children, just like now. Alright?" Both Elle and her brother nodded fervently.
"Just be grateful we're not really this age, otherwise I'd of punched you by now." Casey commented. He himself had only found out when Alex did that he was Jamei's father, otherwise he really would of attacked the older red haired boy. "Casey!" Elle said, smacking her older brother around the back of the head as she walked behind him. "Leave him alone, and you too Jor-Jor."
"Good for you." Dee muttered. "Sounds like you and your Dad have a pretty good relationship..." She added in a much less bitter tone, in a tone that sounded more thoughtful and almost wistful.
"Oh, heyo Lyra." Casey said, sweeping his longish blonde hair from his face as a gust of wind blew it across; blocking his sight of both the two little monsters he was minding and Lyra. Although looking at Lyra made his heart race and his mind trip over itself he couldn't help but look at her whilst she was around. Even if it meant walking into the occasional wall or lamp-post, which he had done numerous times over the last couple of years.
"Just let them go Ly, if he wants to be exhausted and hung over all tomorrow let him." Casey shrugged from his perch in one of the two arm chairs that were in the hotel room that he and his wife were staying in. "Besides, I think he's a little too old to have to worry about pedo's taking him off. And I think the only paedophile around here is your cousin at that." He added with a smirk, he too had taken to making joke after joke about the down right creepiness of Elle and Alex's relationship in the current situation.
"Dude! Chill. It's not like I'd actually do anything, it was a compliment." Ben responded, trying his hardest not to laugh.
I think it's only flirting when the person who is flirting thinks it's flirting, if that makes any sense at all. I mean I "flirt" with my friends all the time, but I don't actually have any real interest in them. Like I tackle-glomp them and it's kinda a running gag with me and one of my male friends that I grope his "boobs". In fact this guy I've actually had more physical contact with then any boyfriend I've ever had. But I wouldn't call it flirting because I'm not interested in him, I'm just rather hyper.
"How should I know? I ain't one of the House Elves." Dee shrugged. Though she herself didn't actually care about the upcoming second course, she'd consumed more then she felt she needed from the first.
Loads of people came in some pretty awesome stuff. I feel sorry for the people who arrived by helicopter to be honest, the first one was AMAZING....
