"Yeah." Dee said looking around, amazed at how lush and rich all the decoration was. It was such a polar opposite to what she'd grown up in.
Lake followed after her, smoothing her dress down as they walked. She was determined to look as perfect as humanly, or rather werewolf-ly, possible. "Lake's here now you guys. So I hope you're all ready." Nate piped up from his seat near the back of the rows of patio chairs.
"If you're sure." Casey nodded, still looking worried for her.
OOC- So are we going to jump to the next day or something now? Just out of interest. Seeing as the feast has been interrupted for so long.
It better be fun D: Bai bai D8
It took me five years to learn to draw people ;~;
I'm screwed D8
OOC- I thought it was the same as English school years, so he would be 15 in 5th year, if he was in the younger part of it. He'd have to turn 16 during the year.
Yay drawing competition 8D
"We live in a flat above one of the shops in Diagon Alley..." She replied, sounding almost ashamed of herself. OOC- Thankies. Here's my newbie~ Forum name: Near-to-Tears Name: Whitney Malvolio Age: 17 Gender: Male House: Ravenclaw Year: 7 Personality: Whitney is a calm and friendly boy who tends to keep to himself. He does make the effort to try to make friends, but nine times out of ten he would prefer to read a book. Appearance: History: Whitney comes from a fairly normal muggle family. However during his early years at the school he was bullied for his muggle parentage by some Slytherins. Pet: n/a Wand: 11 inches, willow, unicorn tail. Other: Whitney is a talented artist, however he usually restricts his artwork to doodles on the back of his parchment and textbooks.
"I used to chase around a Snitch on my broom at home. It was a little... well repetitive. But it was fun." She explained. OOC- Well all it is is my school timetable changed to things like Math are Charms and things like that XD I'll post the new character on here in a moment. Can't you just PM the timetable to me? Or take a screenshot?
OOC- It okay if I add one now then? As sad as this is I might be able to get you something like that from my other computer for the timetable ._.' And that link won't work for me o_O "I have my Dad's old broom from when he was at school... I just hope I make the team, it's something extra to do."
Lake carefully slid over the soft leather once again and pulled herself from the car, holding her skirt up so she didn't trip over it and tear it or humiliate herself. She breathed in deeply and grinned. "You lead the way." Nate shut the door behind them and headed off towards where everyone else was, taking a short cut and slipping in unnoticed.
"Why? What else could it be? You eat something dodgy?" Casey asked, obviously very concerned for Lyra's well-being and health.
OOC- I have to admit I'd quite like to have at least one other character who isn't in Gryffindor. It'd make the RP a lot more interesting I think. "He looks a lot scarier then he is." She said quickly, lying so convincingly that even she herself almost started to believe that she was telling the truth. Truth was the man scared her more then anything else in the world, but she couldn't dwell on that. After all it wasn't the task at hand, school was the task at hand. Making friends, getting grades and earning points.
"What's wrong?" Casey asked, tilting his head slightly and peering down at her.
"I feel like I have been for years." Lake said, smiling brightly. Nate slid off of his seat and walked around to the side that Maddie was sat on and opened the car door. "If you haven't guessed it's time." He chuckled.
"Okay, so that was over dramatic." Casey chuckled. Quickly diverting the subject from just how high his sugar intake from just that day alone was. "So how are you anyway?"
"And you owe me three Galleons still you know." Casey called up to his son. The journey in the car to the stately manor house that they'd organised the wedding to take place at was almost over for Nate and his passengers. On the way there they'd nearly hit one person, two cars and ran over a pigeon. All in all a somewhat eventful trip, but luckily it hadn't ended in complete disaster. He drove up the carefully manicured gravel drive way and pulled to a stop to let the bride and her matron-of-honer to get out of the old fashioned car. Lake's heart was now racing at an even faster speed then usual, the months of planning and waiting were finally over. This was it, it'd finally sunk in that today was the day. In a couple of hours she'd no longer be 'Lake River'; She'd be 'Lake Malfoy'. It was an amazing thought.
"Oh I'm deadly serious Ly. One distracts whilst the other one sneaks up behind you and eats your spleen!" He said, pulling himself up to his fullest hight and looming over her like a effeminate shinigami.
