Etrius looked back at Steel. He knew that Steel was only trying to be nice, but it wasn't really helping, knowing that he was still new among the others. "Yeah well, Luna could've been nicer! And besides, I was only trying to help. The more we know, the faster this is going to end." Etrius' tone had grown cold, regretful. "I know you might see me as a friend, but you're not helping. So stop." Etrius hated to rain on someone's parade, but he needed time to think.
Etrius was hurt by Luna's retort, but his face remained intact. "Ok then.." Etrius said after Jaq's last comment, "Since everyone is detrimined to shut me up, I'm going to find the pearls myself." His voice was lined with a hurt yet a sarcastic tone. He started to jog to the mouse hole, not planning on hearing anyone else.
"Sorry if I made you uncomfortable Luna." Etrius grimaced, "But its a fact we have to face. The Heartless took our homes, and any info regarding them might be useful to turn the tide." He turned to Kel. "And I appreciate the input. Whats the info?" Etrius asked.
"Actually, yes," Etrius said, turning to Luna, looking grim, "And I got a little bit of intel suggesting that we might not be just up against Heartless. While I was grabbing a white button, I sensed negativity coming from a creature, yet, this creature didn't feel like it was from darkness, but straight from negative emotion. Do you have any info regarding this, Luna?"
Etrius thought back, then he spoke, "The creature was small and blue, about the size of a Shadow Heartless, and coincedently, acts somewhat like one. I actually have a bad feeling that there are more stronger ones. The most interesting fact however, is that they are not pure darkness, like Heartless, but actually pure negativity."
Etrius exited the mouse hole that led to Cinderella's room. He saw the others gathered around, holding the stuff for Cinderella's dress. He jogged up to the group, button in hand, and asked, "Heres the button. Does any of you know what those blue creatures are? They look kinda twitchy and odd."
Etrius re-entered the mousehole and continued to swing upwards until he found another mouse hole leading to a high dresser. As soon as he came out, he saw a small white button. He jumped a gap and grabbed the button. One less item to worry about. As he stuffed th button into his cloak, he felt a sharp flash of negativity from below. He saw a strange twitchy blue creature wandering around the rug. As it dissapears, Etrius returns to the mouse hole, eager to return to the others.
Etrius caught up with Steel with little effort, and landed right next to him, standing on his knees. A bit off, he saw a small sash of white linen cloth. He pointed and said, "Over there. That is one item right there. Do you want me to go get it?"
Etrius let out a playful laugh. It seemed that this young man had as much athletic ability as he. Etrius stood up, dusted off his hands, and said, "Nothing like a good exercise to calm the nerves before an oncoming storm. After all, it is Heartless that we're up against, right?" He walked toward the other mouse hole.
I think I might have overdone it. I am in a good mood after all...just go with it. It is an RP
Etrius started jogging to the mousehole. When he was inside, he saw two ledges, one was a high bar, the other was hanging in the middle of the wall. Below Etrius was a large drop. Etrius smiled devilishly, cracked his neck from left to right and stretched. "I would love to ground round 1!" Etrius said, his tone competitive. He took a running start, and jumped to the high bar and landed safely at the top. Then, his hands landed on the middle bar, causing him to flip backwards, towards the back wall. He landed on the wall, and thrust his legs. He landed silently on the other side of the drop and looked at Steel with a questioning smile.
"Excellent," Etrius said, satisfied by Steel's choice. He might come to like this guy a lot. He turned to Kel and Luna, and asked, "Anyone else fancy to come with us, or would you rather stay here and help Jaq with the tools?" He halfly asked this question because of safety issues, in case Heartless appeared. There was a lot of negativity around this house, and there was a high chance that Heartless would find Etrius anr the others, since they were Keyblade Wielders.
Etrius did a front flip off the ledge that he was standing on and walked over to the dress. "I say we go back to the living room," He said, giving the rest of the group a slight smirk, "I saw some dress materials while inside the trap. Apparently the entire household must be going to this ball. But to exclude Cinderella I wonder?"
Etrius was a little hurt that Cinderella didn't answer him, but she might not have had time to answer, so he remained unfazed as Cinderella left the room. He turned to the others. "I have an idea," He said, "Since some of us already know whats going on, maybe we can help Cinderella by finishing her dress. What say thee?"
"More of the question is though, how are we supposed to help her?" Etrius replied silently. He looked back at the dress. Jaq said that Cinderella couldn't finish it because she was working.....so.... Etrius smiled a little, the gears in his head starting to turn. Something told him that if Cinderella is working too hard..... "Hey Cinderella," Etrius called out to her, "Do you think we could help you out with your dress?"
When Etrius heard what Jaq had said about Cinderella, Etrius felt more negativity. The only difference was that it was coming directly past the door. He grinded his teeth to prevent himself from spasming, but one of his eyes managed to twitch. "I sense one, possibly three negative auras in this household." Etrius whispered to Kel and Steel, "I knew something was amiss. In this particular case we must help this woman against this stepmother of hers or whoever else lives in this residence."
Etrius ran up to Jaq, and just when it looked like the two would collide, Etrius jumped up and did a frontflip. he landed quietly in front of Jaq. "Zugk-zugk, Jaq," Etrius said with a slight smirk, "Zugk-zugk." He stood up, and walked into the room.
Etrius looked back at Luna. She was definitly in no condition to be here, and moreover, why was she walking around the Land of Departure, and what was in that satchel? Etrius couldn't tell because they went through another hole in the wall. Etrius felt nothing but peace in here. "Ahhhhh...." He said, relaxing, "Now this place feels much better."
Etrius smiled at that last comment. That sounded a lot like his mother. Aside from being the 2nd in command in the Dark Keyblade Army, she was a mother of four kids, Etrius being the youngest. Etrius was lonely, because he was never allowed to leave the palace, but his mother gave him unconditional love whenever she wasn't dealing with personal matters. She was a warrior, like Etrius' father, and she loved each and every one of her children, and protected each and every one with her last breath. In the end, sadly, she was slain along with Etrius' father by the boy in the mask, slashed in front of a hidden Etrius, seeing the entire thing. The thought saddened him, to know that he will probably never see his mother again. He shook his head. "So Jaq, what is Cinderella's big dream?" He asked.
Etrius was surprised at the shout beyond the door. Then he felt more jealousy pour out. He decided to dissmiss it with a lighter thought. "She seems like a pretty busy woman." He said quietly. Things might start to look up here.
