Sorry Jayn, I was gone during the evening of 4/27, and the entire day of 4/28. I'll try to catch up later today.
>Location: Scavenger Hunt Area >Mood: (Adrian) Unknown, (Toni) Disgruntled Adrian ran to where Cabin A had been. He'd overslept and got to breakfest and lunch late. So had Toni. Day 2 was going by way too fast, and it was making these two individuals go awall. Unless they caught up, they could get shipped out. Continuing........ Adrian arrived to the spot where they were doing the Scavenger Hunt. The rest of the Cabins were already there. After he caught his breath, He asked Aislin, "Sorry that I'm tardy. Did I miss anything interesting??" He looked round to the others, and Julius's frowning face. "My internal instincts tell me that we have the lower hand...Correct?" He said, crossing his arms, "Then that means I haven't missed a thing..just great. And to think that this cabin was interesting.." But he was smirking, implying that he was just being silly. He took out a Flashlight and turned it on. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For a few minutes, Toni watched as her yammer off as she walked to her group. "Sorry Samantha, I'm late. I just hope I don't have to worry about my lame brother, cuz he's cold enough as he is. I don't need to back him up either, he's old enough to deal with his own problems."
Adrian got off his bed. for his own turn. He cleared his throat. "I have only one reason why I'm normally sarcastic. And that is because I'm broken." He turned to a nearby window, "I won't tell why. It's none of anyones business. But I will tell you one thing. I've been asleep for 5 days time. No food, no drink. I was out like a light." He turned back to Julius and the rest, "I used to care about a lot of people. But one death and a emotional backstab was enough to put me out for that long." He grabbed his guitar again, flicked each string, lowest to the highest note, and continued. "That slumber changed me completely. I don't care for really anybody except my family, because, really, in the end, the only people that really care are your family." His eyes clouded with anger, and he stopped his strumming. "There are two sides to every coin," Adrian said in a low but serious voice, "One side shows a person we see outside. The one who tries to be." He pulls out a dime and a penny, "The other side shows what's truly inside. Everyone has secrets. Most of them determined to keep them buried like a hatchet. And most adults still don't know the reason why we don't like Secret Time?" Adrian puts both coins away and he pulls an evil looking smirk, "If you ask me, I think they like to cover up!" "But yeah. "I'm sarcastic because I rarely show much emotion. It doesn't matter to me if something's funny or stupid. I just go with it. And people can read me like an open book. Adrian sat down back on his bed. "Yep, this entire thing is stupid. I'm taking a shower." He said as he got shampoo and some soap, and went to the bathroom. He felt a whole lot better after that. He got out and got some clean bed clothes. As he closed his eyes, and felt his consciousness slip away. (WILL EDIT!)
WHAT? THAT MEANS WE HAVE TO WRITE SIX PARAGRAPHS??
Rexitus looked at him sharply. He then nodded to Lexeain. Lexeain pulled a small device from her cloak. "In order for this to work, you need to place the Cornerstone of Darkness to the Light, to nullify it Xross." Lexeain said. "Go on." Rexitus chimed in, "We don't have all day. We could be compromised as we speak!"
>Location: Cabins/Dining Hall/Cabins >Mood: (Adrian) Little taken aback, (Toni) Tired >OCC: Bit much Adrian was a bit taken aback by how Julius reacted. But if this counselor laughed.... then he already liked this cabin "Oh gods, you crack me up....that was so...pfftt" Julius said as his laughter grew even more, "Oh gods this is so bad...may the counsellor gods smite me for laughing." Julius said as he let out a loud sigh and wiped a tear away from his eye "Oh my I am really looking forward to you kiddos now." Julius said with a smile. "You just met them hun." Said Aislin, "You probably are not looking for friends, but even if you aren't, being unfazed by anger is not going to help the atmosphere of the cabin out. Don't throw pinecones in the fire." Adrian looked around. It seemed that the entire cabin was here, which means that they would be leaving for Dinner very soon. He threw off his hood, revealing his pale yellow eyes, and said, "Not to worry guys." Adrian said with a smirk, "I just wanted to see reactions. And if you asked me, if this was a test for Julius, he would've passed. And I'm not throwing pinecones in flames. I never do that. So unless you're really trying to piss me off, that wont happen." His mocking smirk had turned into an honest smile. He looked at everyone for a good moment as he gave Julius his cell. They all soon left for lunch and announcements. Secret Time? HA! Fine. And the scavenger hunt sounds pretty good too. They ate and left. As soon as Adrian got inside, he unzipped his bag and removed a purple guitar. He gave it a small strum. Beautiful...as beautiful as.... Adrian looked at Julius and asked suddenly asked "How does this Secret Time work?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toni had played "Phantom of the Opera", practicing the notes. It had been just after lunch, and he she was not looking forward to Secret Time. She just kept on playing until she had it drilled in here head. She then decided that maybe she should take a nap, just to skip Secret Time. They were not gonna get any secrets from her.. As she closed her eyelids, she soon felt tiredness weighing down on her. She dreamed that she was flying. She didn't know where. (Sorry that the last post was small..)
>Location: Cabin's A and C >Mood: (Adrian) Somewhat Monotone, (Toni) Resigned >OOC: A little better.. Toni walked back to Cabin C alone. She felt bad for Adrian. He had been through too much in so little of a time. But then again, it wasn't really her fault, as she wasn't the one who dumped him. It's just that Adrian was forced to cope on his own that made her guilty. Toni tried to make him feel better during Jessi's death and Meridith's break up, but in the end, he never felt any better. She sighed as she walked inside Cabin C. Most of the campers were already there. She saw a blond woman, about 20, surveying the cabin, a blue-eyed 16 year old redhead on her bed and resting. She went over to her bed and started to unpack, and drew a small piano keyboard. Adrian and Toni both had the talent to play the piano, but Toni usually prefered an organ. She played two keys, and her mind started to wander. The boy with the brown hair for example, he made her pulse jump and her palms sweaty. It made her impulsive just thinking about it, not to mention slightly embarrasing. She looked to the redhead and asked, "What are you here for?" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adrian snickered slightly as Julius introduced himself. It was obvious that Julius didn't really care about them, Adrian didn't think, and if he did, he does a poor job of showing it. But then again, first appearences aren't everything, especially at a camp like this. He might as well introduce himself for that matter. Adrian felt a glare on his back coming from that guy...Allen was it? Adrian stood up, and said, "My name is Adrian. If it makes any of you feel any better Julius, you don't need to worry about me. Besides, your just doing this for your five dollar check..am I right?" Adrian began to walk across the room with his hands behind his back, as he went on, "Anything, if anything that a counselor should know, it's responsiblity. But I'm not one to judge. All I'm saying right now is that I'm tired, and even if you get mad at me, then don't. I am completely unfazed by any type of anger or hatred, courtesy training of my sister in Cabin C, Tonitrui. And just so you know, I'm not exactly impressed by the 'apathetic' act of yours." He was now talking directly to Julius, "But hey, my intrests and opinions change. So, yeah." Adrian sat back on his bed. The only thing visible under his hood was a slight smirk expectant on what Julius or the others would do.
Someones going goth...kinda..i dunno. But hell yes! Bring her in. Great. I thought you'd flip out, but fine by me. I should of thought of making him as an actual character, but I threw him out there so Adrian can have someone to talk to, and I bought James in as a concept. He's already intergrated with part of the story already,. If it's alright with you, I'll make him an actual character rather than an NCP, that is, if thats alright with you? [DOUBLEPOST=1366952246][/DOUBLEPOST]This is to make up for the rouge NPC.... ❥Full Name: James Von Glacies ❥Appearance: Slightly muscular frame and six pack, unsually strong for his age. Constantly wears a casual shirt and loose fitting khakis. ❥Age: 16 ❥Likes: Gossip, jokes, FPSs, sports, drumming, exercise, getting into other people's heads, inventing. ❥Dislikes: Anything low of class or attitude, Jerks, stupid rules, ladiesmen. ❥Weaknesses/Fears: Losing the one thing that allows him to speak. ❥Strengths/Talents: Telepathic speaking and minor mind reading, particularly good at any kind of shooting sport, seems to pay more attention than Adrian. ❥Personality: He may look completely high class, but he's a complete freak. Otherwise, he's calm and collected, and more then willing to chat, and is much kinder than Adrian and Toni. Is willing to test his mental capabilities fo a better cause. ❥Sexuality: Hetrosexual ❥Favorite colors: Green and Deep Yellow ❥Instrument(s): Drums ❥Crush: Elisha Mulshine ❥Cupid's Brew?: No ❥Other: His vocal chords were ruined during an experiment to enhance his brain. He survived, as well as gaining the ability to though-speak, as well as projecting thoughts and intrudingin to others. He knows the dangers and risks of privacy, and always will respect other people. The very last character I shall make for the entire thread.
>Location: Cabin A >Mood: Thoughtful >OCC: This is off to a bad start... Adrian never actually went inside the Dining Hall. He just circled around, and made it back to Cabin A. Before he entered, he threw his hoddie up. It was still a little warm out, yet Adrian didn't care. He opened the door to see that one of the campers were there. It was a boy with brown haired, lighted-eyed teen talking to a counselor in an eyepatch, which looked cliche, yet pretty odd as well. There may have been others inside, but Adrian didn't pay attention. All he wanted to do was think. He walked past the two as he went to his bunk and immeadiately started to unpack. He was starting to wonder if coming here was the best choice. Adrian told himself that he would play the dead hand, as he usually does, but one look at that..that girl from Cabin B made Adrian's dead hand flow with all the life it can get. Who was she? Adrian somehow knew the girl but he couldn't remember. It was like a tough piece of food stuck down one's throat. And yet, with Adrian's good memory of things, he didn't have a shread of fact as to where he'd known the girl. As Adrian folded clothes into seperate drawers, he relived his past loves.Remembering Jessi was like letting a disease bite at his very body, eating and tearing him from the inside out, whereas Meridith's breakup was like a gunshot wound to the heart that put him out for 5 days. It was eve a wonder that Adrian didn't die of a broken heart, and woke up refreshed and ready to go, just like any other day. Adrian was never the same again. Now, he couldn't care any less if he broke up with a girl, or if the girl broke up with him. But all kidding aside, the girl had caught Adrian completely offguard, making him look like a slack-jawed neaderthal. For crying out, Adrian didn't know what to do! He sighed and threw himself on the bottom bunk, then grinds his teeth. One thing's for sure, if he truly liked this girl, he would need to listen to her and make her happy. If that wasn't the case, so be it. Adrian criss-crossed his hands behind his head, and closed his eyes under his hood. "God." he thought, "If this is the girl, that you showeth to me, is truly my love to be, please protect her from harm." Normally, Adrian wouldn't pray for something like this, but his motives were all over the place. He laid there for a little and listened to anything that his ears could pick up.
Damn. I might have gone over the top, cuz I've may have broken 2 rules here 1. Unrealism of the works to an NPC 2. Added an NPC to Cabin A. In this particular case, I may have been a little too spontaneous... But thats just me. Anyway, it's your thread, so you do what you want with him... Sorry about this.
Location: Cabin A/Cabin B/Dining Hall Mood: (Adrian) Expectant, (Toni) Mocking OCC: STOP CUTTING ME OFF! Adrian and James both ha been coinecendentially been put in Cabin A. As they walked into the Cabin, They saw that a majority of the campers had already unpacked. Adrian put most of his stuff on the top bunk, while James put his stuff at the bottom. "We should probably unpack later." Said James in thought-speak, "The more we wait, the less we can get dinner." "Good point." Came Adrian's reply. They both dropped the bags off and headed out. As they walked out they heard a familiar "Hey" coming from Toni. The three walked and chatted all the way to the Dining Hall. On the way, Adrian stopped in front of the door leading to Cabin B, and Adrian stopped. James and Toni soon stopped, noticing that Adrian had stopped an looked back to him. "Uh, Adrian?" She looks in Adrian's direction. He was looking straight at a girl. She looked just like anyone, but not to Adrian. This girl, had caused his heart to let out a small, painfully familiar throb. He knew this feeling all to well. He couldn't move. He wanted to but didn't. The girl had mouse brown hair, and eyes to match. She was unpacking, and had her back turned so she could'nt see him staring. "Well someone's in love...." James said in Adrian's head. Adrian shook his head and hid behind the outside of the doorpane. He threw a dirty look at James and Toni. James shrugged, while Toni threw the same dirty look back at him and snickered. "You are to tell no one about this!" Adrian hissed, his cheeks turning a pale pink in the fading sunlight, "I do not like hi..I mean her!" He looked flabbergasted. "Sure Adrian." Toni whispered in a mocking tone. "You certainly don't like the opposite sex!" Adrian's face reddened. "I never said that!" Adrian said out loud, "I just-" He cut off after he heard footsteps from the Cabin. The three take off, and they don't stop until they were at the Dining Hall. They huffed and caught their breath. "Mind telling me your brain fantasy Adrian?" James said as he caught his breath. Adrian gave him an angry look. Toni smirked, waiting for his answer. Finally, after 5 minutes, Adrian groaned. "Okay I like her." He said sullenly, "But I can't. I don't want the vicious cycle to repeat." He went inside, leaving Toni and James outside. Finally, James asked, "What vicious cycle?" Toni looked at him, looking somewhat guilty. "You don't know what made Adrian stop caring for love, have you?"she asked. James shook his head no. Toni sighed. "His first girlfriend, Jessi, died from Terminal Cancer in Adrian's middle school year." Toni said quietly. "That had a large impact on him. He stayed by her hospital bed, no matter how many times the nurse told him that visiting hours were over with. But it didn't stop there." She grimaced, unsure whether to say it or not. "Meridth, his second love, dumped him at the start of high school. I was there that time, and after she walked away, Adrian fainted. He never woke up until five days later." James' eyes widened. "Brutal. Do you know why Adrian woke up after 5 days, if he so misreable?" He asked. Toni shook her head and replied, "I haven't got a clue."
>Location: Camp Circle >Mood: (Toni) Oddly Dreamy, (Adrian) Dropping to Annoyance >OOC: Lets try this again... Adrian's mood was already starting to fall. He had been trying to talk to someone, yet he forgot the very notion that he rarely talks to strangers. He sighed, giving up, and looks over to Toni, who was talking to two other girls. She was usually chatty, but Adrian usually is a regular Prometheus, thinking and weighing his options. Toni, on the other hand, charges into things headfirst and then thinking of her actions later on in the day. Strangely enough though, her eyes were different. Instead of the usual hard glint of authority in her eyes, it was replaced with......softness?! Adrian stood up from where he was sitting, and looked straight in his sister's eyes again, trying to confirm. But not before a voice interrupted his thoughts. "Wasup cous.." Adrian turned to see his younger cousin James standing beside him. He got close to Adrian without making a sound. His skills are improving. James had been part of a project that involved enhancing human bodies. Adrian had also participated along with James, though the project didn't really end well. The specialists behind the project had managed to ruin James' vocal chords while trying to enhance his brain capabilities. But he had somehow managed to gain the ability to speak telepathically, which greatly benifited for his lack of voice. Adrian got augumented as well, but the specialists had put him out during his procedure. James went through hell without being mentally asleep. But what choice did they have back then? Adrian put on a smile as he looked at the friendly hazel eyes and the familiar straight hair that fell down in a small, dirty blonde mop top. Finally, someone that he knew. "Wasup?" Came Adrian's thought response, "Gas prices, the sky, taxes and planes." "True, true. Have you seen how Toni's been acting? It's kinda scary." James' thoughts sounded worried, "I went through her head, and I found that she was thinking about another guy. I would think that she has a liking for him." So that's what it was. He looked over at Toni. She had stopped talking to the other gals and was staring straight at the two boys. The glint in her eyes had returned. She then turned around and continued chatting with the others. "She just told me that she had found me screwing around in her cranium." Thought James, turning back to Adrian,"She just told us to scram." Adrian chuckled at this. At least her personality hasn't changed. That was good. "Have you seen any girls atuned to your liking?" Adrian asked, changing the subject. "You act like women are nothing more than bottles on the shelf." Said James, sounding slightly annoyed. "Well it's obvious that you don't remember that my last experience with girls have left my thoughts buzzing like a TV thats snowing." It was James' turn to smile. "Yeah well, you may have stopped caring about girls, but you still care about friends and family." He responded. Adrian let out a short laugh. James knew him better than Toni. Probably because they had only one thing in common, that being that they were considered in Toni's case, "The Augumented". "You should work on you mind reading more," Adrian said suddenly, "Last time when we checked on your mind probing, victims had said that they felt a slight itch on the base of the neck whenever you went in their head, particularly Toni's." He smiled in spite of it. But he knew very well James wouldn't do it. Ever since James gained the ability to thought speak, it changed him. He heard things that were never meant to be heard, things never meant to be seen. He became something like Adrian; unable to talk, yet willing to whenever he was around someone familiar. He liked to talk to Adrian in particular. James had mind probed Adrian once upon Toni's request. Two hours later, James described Adrian's head as a room of an abandoned house, with only a TV set that never brodcasted anything, yet was always on, displaying rain runs. That being said, James liked Adrian the most, because it didn't look like Adrian thought much. The two became a tightly knit. "Now then." Adrian said, "Lets catch up on old memories?"
>Location: Camp Circle >Mood: (Toni) Slightly annoyed, (Adrian) Quiet and observant >OOC: Lets do this! Adrian walked off the bus with his sister. The bright sunny day made him look incredibly pale, like he was sick, but that was the way he was born. He suddenly wished he had inherited his sister's lightly tanned skin. Not that he envied her. She wasn't exactly a warm person. She flew off the handle at the slightest annoyance and she would rage about it for 1 good hour. Adrian had learned a long time ago that anger was just a waste of time and energy, not to mention that it damages people physically, verbally and mentally, but also acts like a dual-edged sword. He sighed, remembering all the times he snapped. It had been 2 years since Adrian got angry, and he was trying to set the record. He raised his head slightly and ran a hand through his hair, and re-adjusted his glasses. He looked around, seeing a large number of students have come. He wondered if he had any chance of finding his match here. "Move it," Came Toni's disgruntled voice. She's pissed. Again. Adrian moved to one side to let Toni out. Toni got off, and turned to her brother. "Why are you being inconsiderate?" She asked. "It's called thinking." Adrian replied with an unsatisfied smirk, "You should try it sometime before you fly off door handles." Adrian instantly saw a vein start pulsing out of her sister's forehead. Was she really that mad? Honestly... "That doesn't give you the right to stop in the middle and cause everyone to wait until midnight. I'm already pissed on how noisy and hot it was inside the bus." She hissed. Adrian shifted his weight from his right foot to his left, relieving the weight of his bag. "One, that was one stupid hyperbole, and two, it's a free country, with free rights as citizens, so if you think that by me holding up the line is a crime, then sue me." He said in a flat voice suggesting that he was dead serious. He turned on his heel and followed the other students to the Camp Circle. Toni was left with her usual storm cloud. She grudgingly followed suit. But not before she spotted a boy with light brown hair. She was about to think of a rude thought but suddenly felt her heartbeat start up. Everything slowed down, and voices started to dull. The only thing that was heard by Toni, was her own heartbeat. He was.....strange for Toni, since she was a heartbreaker, cute. Very handsome actually. She nearly tripped, and everything went back to focus. The boy didn't seem to see what had happened. She walked off, but she couldn't seem to get the boy out of her head.

But otherwise, I'm happy to contribute these poems, as I try to do them in class. As a matter of fact, I'll post two more poems..
Correctamundo. I tend to be that way. Forgive the horror, I was in a bit of a dark mood, so I created some harsh reality poems. I was a bit...
What really happened?
Likewise, Be sure to check your poem thread again. It would be a great pleasure to submit some of the poems that I create.
