Homebrew can be installed like any .PKG file now. I'm not sure if it's with a usb drive or not. Jailbreaking activates the hidden service mode which can run unsigned games (Many games don't even run, howver). It allows the user to backup their own games onto the PS3 (and by extension, play pirated versions).
Darren didn't really know what to make of this person, but was just glad he was met with friendliness. Darren took the hand warmly and shook it. "As for the rest of you," he said, "We can skip the introductions. I heard you all on my way here, Vampires have very good hearing." He seemed to have found the right crowd. But something was still bothering him. "So, um, what exactly is going on?" He asked. "You said I'm... a Cosmos fighter? What does that mean? I heard you guys talking about some kind of war. Is that why I'm here?" ~ Steve approached Mithos. "Darren just woke up, didn't he? I can feel it. What a coward, I wonder why it took him so long... Listen, I'm still not too sure about what's going on, but if you need a pair of fists, just say the word. I'm just dying for a fight." Steve cracked his knuckles and neck.
Darren was shocked, but he figured he should try to explain the best he could. He put up his hands peacefully. "My name is Darren Shan. I just showed up here. I'm a half-Vampire." Darren quickly realized that he probably sounded frightening. "But, um, you don't need to be afraid of me, because I don't need to kill people to survive, just drink a little bit of blood every few weeks, and um, I'm also a Vampire Prince, and I, um, can you please put that gun down?"
OOC:Sorry, didn't realize that. They can both be Vampire Mountain then. BIC: Darren found himself in a strange place. He was getting over the shock of having just died moments ago. He didn't know where he was. The Vampires told him that if he died a good and noble Vampire, he would go to Paradise. But if he didn't, he would end up in the Lake of Souls, a hellish and terrible place. Given the circumstances of his death, he had no idea where he was. But he figured the best thing to do would be to look for people. He used his superior Vampire hearing to try and hear voices. He heard several people in a group talking to each other and decided to head in that direction. He walked slowly at first. From what he could gather they were in some kind of war. Perhaps it was his duty to fight alongside them. Maybe this was a test, and Paradise was waiting. Then he heard gunfire. He ran as fast as he could, which was very fast as a half-Vampire, but his destination was far away. When things settled down, he walked again. He was going to have to introduce himself, and he didn't want to seem out of breath. When he finally caught up with them they seemed to be walking. He ran to catch up with them. "Um...hey." He said shyly, waiting for a response.

Darren's weapon of choice is a sword, be he is adept at hand-held combat and using the ends of his fingernails as weapons. As a half-vampire(in the Cirque Du Freak world, anyway) his nails are incredibly strong and sharper than any manmade dagger. Spoiler: the end of cirque du freak For the greater good, Darren allowed himself to be killed by his half-brother Steve and ended up in the Dissidia world(That is how it works right? The characters end up there after the events of their games? I haven't beaten Dissidia yet) Book Series: Cirque Du Freak Weapon: Sword, or fingernails Fighting Style: Darren is a quick opponent and likes to use his superior vampire endurance to wear out his opponent. As the noble vampire clan has taught him it is dishonorable to fight anyone unarmed with a weapon, so in the case that this comes up he can fight with his hands and fingernails. Darren can also control spiders with his mind. EX Mode: The Purge. Darren's vampire blood cells attack his human ones and make him a full vampire temporarily. But instead, he was discovered by the Vampaneze clan, and became a half-vampaneze. As a half-vampaneze, Steve is stronger than Darren but not as fast. His fingernails are sharper as well. As a half-vampaneze, Steve has a powerful lust to kill and drink blood from his victims, unlike vampires who only knock their subjects out and drink small amounts. Spoiler: the end of Cirque Du Freak Soon after Steve found out that Darren was his half-brother, Darren lied to Steve about plotting against him so that he would kill him. Steve furiously killed Darren and then died from the wound he previously received from him. Though Steve killed Darren because of a lie, he does not know this. He hopes to find Darren and get his revenge. Book Series: Cirque Du Freak Weapon: As a Half-vampaneze Steve has sworn to never use weapons. He only uses his fists and fingernails Fighting Style: Although his fingernails are incredibly deadly, Stever prefers to fight with his fists, which can deal incredibly strong blows. Steve is only slightly faster than an average human and does not usually utilize this speed. EX Mode: The Purge. Same as Darren, but replace Vampire with Vampaneze. Stage: The Abandoned Theatre. No, you don't need to jailbreak. That's the whole point. The PS3 is not "Hacked" persay by this, what happened is, the hackers were able to find the keys that makes sony software run. What this means is any homebrew can run on an unhacked console as if it were real Sony code. PS3 games cannot be signed because the hackers are against piracy and did not release the keys to sign games. They only made homebrew possible. However this can easily be worked around. All one would have to do is make a custom firmware that doesn't check for keys at all, and sign it as an official Sony firmware. It's just a matter of time.

But if it's creepy already, then great. XD' Yeah that's the thing about me. I'm REALLY bad at endings. I consider myself a good author, but I have two big flaws: Coming up with names, and endings. I haven't even named half of the characters that I'm planning to introduce later. I just call them "The [adjective] [noun]" in my head. For example, "The Frightened Girl". And I usually end very awkwardly. So yeah I'm sorry but you'll have to get used to that ^^'
