Darren jumped and tried to save Harry, only to be apprehended by Steve once again, who ran away with Mithos, seeming to be bodyguarding him.

Darren dodged the attack easily with his Vampire speed, and then sped up Mithos, lunging at him with his fingernails.
    ~
Steve grabbed Darren by his neck before he could connect. "And just what do you think you're doing?" He snarled, and kicked him back with ease.
    ~
Darren grunted as he fell back to the ground he didn't remember Steve being that strong. He figured for now he'd better stay back on the defensive.

    Steve came up behind Mithos
"Ah, so this is the sorry bunch you'll be fighting with, is it, Darren?"
    ~
Darren stood dumbfounded at the sight of Steve. "Steve! What are you doing here?!" He cried.
    ~
Steve chuckled and ignored him, letting Mithos speak.

As eager as Darren was to know what was going on, he was excited to be able to fight again. He pulled out his sword and got into fighting stance, ready to quickly strike when the opponent least expected it.

The only brands that are half-good for your dog are really obscure and expensive, like Taste of the Wild.

    And thank you very much.

Yeah, they are. They put in entire euthanized dogs with their collars and everything. If they were wearing a shock collar the microchip from that goes in too. Also, animal by-products.

    Thank you.

If I really am, I'm sorry. I honestly don't try to be that way and no one has said anything to me.
I haven't done any research on cats so I'm not sure but on all the research I've done for dogs (Which is a lot) I did see a few things that said it's the same for cats too.

We haven't been using any brands. Ever since we found out about the awful stuff in store food we started feeding him rice mixed with cooked ground beef (We were scared of raw meat at the time), about a year ago. Before that, we used Kibble. Our vet told us today that switching to the rice was a good step in the right direction, but it wasn't enough. He was the one who said we need to start giving him raw meat, and he went off about grocery store dry food and how terrible it is. So yeah, we're confident in the BARF diet now and we're switching to it.

And yeah, I'm fully prepared for what'll come out way as long as he comes out of it alive. I love him to death and I really can't stand the though of losing him but like you said the doctor said he has good chances. He said it was probably a mast cell tumor (He couldn't be sure) and I looked that up and apparently if you catch those early (We did) the results can usually be really good.
Waiting until Tuesday is going to suck.

Wow, so fuсking sorry for having an attitude problem during the day I found out that my dog has cancer. I understand most people are in great moods when that happens.

Sadly "reliable brands" are very hard to come by and there will really be nothing better than just giving your dog raw meats like the wolves do it.

And thank you, I really appreciate that.

Well no offense to you, but you should not own a dog if you don't have a means to give it what it needs.
Read this link. The whole thing.
If you don't have time here's the tl;dr version:
In North America, ‘mammalian meat and bone meal’, a key animal component in pet food, has been shown to include the ground-up remains of euthanised cats and dogs – flea collars, name tags, microchips and all.

(a vet):‘The main part of what I do is taking them off a commercial diet and putting them on to a raw diet, and that is where I see the biggest difference. I’ve had dogs which have been expected to die and they’ve left me with a clean bill of health simply because I’ve put them on the raw diet.’

    Thank you.

    Well, fuсk.

Today, we found out that our dog has cancer. On Tuesday we're going to get his tumors removed and according to the vet he has a good chance of that curing it. Christians, please pray for us. Atheists, cross your fingers.

Anyway, I usually am not someone who likes to push his beliefs on other people, but now I feel like I have to say something. If you're a dog owner and you're feeding your dog dry food from a store like Kibble: STOP. IT.

It is seriously fuсking bad for your dog and despite what the advertising says you are probably killing it slowly. There are better alternatives. Dogs should eat raw meats like raw chicken, beef, and/or lamb, as well as vegetables with complex carbs like broccoli. For more information to go BARFworld.com
