There is no such thing as a "Dis-soul", the term "Dis-Soul" was a hoax, it is not the name of the new enemy, or anything at all in Kingdom Hearts

Also, the emblem Roxas drew was a Crown, and it is entirely different from the emblem marked on the New Enemy in Birth By Sleep

Did you miss the part with the ring-around-the-rosey and the singalongs? Kingdom Hearts isn't maturing, every "secret video' makes you think 'lolol dat iz dark and maturez, lawl just 4 me', but it's not, it's just fanfare, in the end it's still disney and there's still singalongs and there's still ring-around-the-rosey and winnie-the-pooh

You do know that the Stream-My-Game involves hacking your PS3 to run Linux first and foremost? Not to mention that Linux on the PS3 only has about 256mb of memory to access, which means it takes about 10 minutes just to boot up.

And this wouldn't be a loss of exclusivity or a 'port', it's 'streaming' the visual and audio output from the PC through the PS3 to broadcast on the TV, the PS3 isn't actually doing any of the functionality, it's used as an intermediary to broadcast what would normally be displayed on a Computer screen, instead on your TV screen. From what I've read, there is no functionality with the PS3 controller even, you use a USB mouse and keyboard connected to the PS3

And also it's a matter of, if your computer can't play the game in the first place, you can't properly stream it to the PS3 either. So basically, you have to already have a computer that can run the game just fine...and then you have to think, then why do you need to play them on the PS3 (or more accurately, use your PS3 to broadcast the game on your TV), because you've already bothered to have a Gaming PC

Basically, have you ever heard of those set-ups where you connect your consoles directly to your PC to play them on your computer? This entire process is that, except in reverse. Instead of Console > PC intermediary > Computer Screen, it's PC > console intermediary > Television screen.

Geographical education puts exploration in their heads and causes urges to want to explore other continents and countries, yes they probably won't act on, but there is the risk they will, suddenly a family gets up in the morning and they have a note from Little Timmy saying he's off to explore Rome!

That's it guys, Children need to not know of the existence of Europe.

It's understanding the human body, like they don't experience undressing and nudity every time they take a shower? Sexual Education isn't about suggesting awesome positions and lube usage, it's about understanding how you were born, learning about the human body, how it can be dangerous and ways to protect yourself, etc. all so that they're educated and informed about it, instead of getting the wrong information before the correct one.

It is a double standard, because Sex Education is nothing more than that: education. The same argument defending why Sexual Education is 'influencing bad decisions' in children could be applied similarly to how any form of education is 'influencing' them. Coloring books promote vandalism, nap time promotes sloth, Geography promotes abandonment, Earth Science promotes uncleanliness, Social Studies promotes propaganda, Gym class promotes physical fitness which leads to steroids, good lord look at all this foul things being pushed onto our young minds!

Why? How is it mature material? It's biology and safety education.

I'm showing you your own argument in relation to other material to point out double standards. The 'twists' of your own words sound pretty silly, don't they? That's what your argument is, silly.

Nah, it's not very nice to declare an argument over just because <.< not fair to the opposing argument

I like to refer to the above as "the argument of someone with no argument."

Baseless facts, in my intelligent discussion? It's more likely than you think.

"Not everyone is gonna go out and drop out of school to move to New Guinea, but some of them WILL. Therefore we need to PREVENT our children from the knowledge of Geography!"

You act as if the second someone is educated on the matter, they're going to go out and do it, which is a massive and unfounded exaggeration. It's education, informing them, educating them on what it is, what it isn't, what is right and wrong, how it can be dangerous, etc.

Innocent minds shattered! Oh boy, I sure do love unfounded baseless information in intelligent discussion!

And I pose to you, WHY teach children about Geography?
Post by: TheMuffinMan, Jan 22, 2008 in forum: Debate Corner
  16. TheMuffinMan
Why would you teach an 8 year old about Geography? Do you WANT more teenagers to abandon their country and go to Rome?

Hey look, I can take outrageous exaggerated stances too

You seem to have misinterpreted what they were saying. Daxma is saying that sex education is treated like some great darkness, when in reality there is nothing wrong or 'dark' about Sex, it's part of human nature and people who treat it like it's some great evil zone are thinking about the whole situation completely backwards.

That's like saying that underage teaching of geography will lead to family abandonment and that 10 year olds will study abroad, traveling through Europe.

If sexual education is only appropriate at a period when things of the sexual nature is relevant, well for one who decides when it is relevant? Should you not learn of it until you are Married? And then you should question why this thought process is not applied to all facets of education?

Should math only be taught when relevant? Should I only learn Math at the point when I need to count things? And Biology, why do I need to learn how Organs work if it's not relevant unless I become a Doctor, should Biology only be taught once you enter Medical School? And like I pointed out above, Geography. Should Geography be taught only at the point when one would travel to other countries?

Every review source reviews "innacurately", because reviews in general are matters of opinions. If you don't agree with their review, in your mind they're being 'innacurate'

Let's see what was negative about KH2: FM+ according to them:

    * It’s mostly the same game

Why, yes it is! It is mostly the same game.

    * Additional cut scenes come without voice over

Indeed they do not! Unltil you unlock theater mode by beating the game, any additional cutscene in the game is completely silent, that's quite a turn-off.

    * If you have KHII, you don’t need to buy this one

Completely true. If you've played KH2, playing KH2:Final Mix would have you playing 90% of the exact same game, only this time you get a pretty new keyblade and some extra bosses and silent cutscenes. Perfectly accurate advice, why spend $100+ importing and modding your hardware to play a game that is mostly what you already played?

"While not everyone should rush out with their Japanese-English dictionaries, die-hard fans of the series and avid collectors might want to keep this on their shopping list the next time they visit Akihabara."

Again, the average person who just picked up KH2 and rather enjoyed it need not go about importing this title just for the hell of it, but they say if you're a die-hard fan you may atleast keep an eye out for it.

Also, the "Boss Rush" is the Cave of Rememberance

There have already been several DS games will significant amounts of voice acting, one of which is a game Square Enix has already made. Square Enix and other developers have already worked out this aspect of the DS, the article's developer woes is just PR.

You guys shouldn't misinterpret the quote, it's not saying that the DS isn't capable of VA or that 358/2 days will not have voice acting, because Square Enix has already made a game with significant amounts of voice acting, the article is that the issue would be full voice acting throughout the entire game. That is not to say that the game will lack it, but that having every scene with it would be an issue of the storage capacity of the DS cartridge

Chances are you can expect something of a similar format to past KH titles: Voice Acting in the important and FMV cutscenes, text boxes for the less significant ones and NPC dialogue
