Luce turned on her heel and glared at Scott, "This is a private conversation, Scott. Never you mind about what I do on the job. Hunting demons is my JOB. I'm not going to give up my own free right to choose whether to hunt alone or not." Her icy eyes glared at Scott as her fingers tightened around one of her pistol's at her hips.
Izzie snarled at the other wolves and feinted attacks at them to keep them back. I don't have time to deal with mutts. she growled to herself and pawed the ground, to give her momentum as she launched herself at the nearest wolf.
Xenree glared at Sharumix in front of her. "I knew bringing you would be trouble. This is why Nobodies work ALONE!" Beast growled and sniffed at Sharumix, "Who are you?"
Lightning snapped from her distant memories and lurched forward, toward Leo and the Calvary. "I've got your back!" Although also in her Commando role, Lightning cast Protect on herself and Leo. "I see you've grown stronger Leo...Snow would be proud." she spared an affectionate look for him and snapped her fingers. With this many soldiers her EMF would work nicely to her advantage. Jumping, Light knocked a weapon out of one soldier's hands and shot another as her gunblade flipped effortlessly between forms. A brief moment when she looked up she saw Alexander...Hope's Eidolin. Hope... the distraction nearly cost her her life. She dropped down in a crouch to avoid being shot. Akira was still stunned by Grey's switching of sides. "Grey...why? Why now? This is so....unbelievable. We were in this together! We were going to save the world! The world Lightning and Snow and everyone else worked so hard to protect!"
Xenree felt a sharp electric current spark through her head and a small memory of Riku fighting a girl in black...Xion lodged into her visual image of Riku's journal. "Hmm..." A fierce roar echoed through the castle and suddenly a furred purple caped beast jumped from the stairs and landed in front of Xenree and Orias. "You do NOT belong here! This is MY castle and you are dressed as Xaldin was! I will not let you change my mind and believe darkness is the only way to protect myself!" Xenree smiled, "Well that is unfortunate...I haven't even said one word and you've already spilled all your secrets about the past."
Alice laughed, "Navigating Kingdom Hearts silly. It's no straight shot and a lot more powerful Heartless and other creatures live inside it. It may be light but a great darkness lives inside it. Istar smirked, "I see someone is new to the program."
Luce shook her head and clawed her hair back from her face, drying her tears on a napkin in frustration. "It's not tough for me. I can handle it. I'd relish the challenge. I'll stay right where I am, thanks. Lenny...I want to prove I can do this. So whatever everyone needs to hear, just keep in mind, I want to do a mission alone. I can handle myself just fine." Luce shuddered a moment from expressing so much of herself in one day and suppressed the urge to curl up in a ball on her bed and stay that way...just like she'd done when she was a child and teenager on the streets.
Yay Hayden Christensen!! He will be good for Noctis. I look forward to seeing how he does..if he does it.

Lynne grinned and winked at them, "Go. I'll be able to beat you two in no time." A twinge poked at her heart at how friendly they were together and yet Lynne masked it. Sighing, Lynne strained herself with a faster paced walk out the door. She eventually panted with pain as sweat dripped off her face. "Weakling...c'mon Lynne...get yourself moving!" Ryku breathed in the morning light and felt more than heard his brother awaken. A loud thump reverberate through the floors, "Ya'll right up there Dem?" A muffled response came and Ryku recognized the sylables. "Just being concerned...no need to be snippy. Jeez..." Demitri rolled and fell flat on his face on the floor, "Son-of-a....Mother...dammit! Shut up Ryku!" Demitri reached for his bottle of whiskey under his bed and stopped, Oh...right. My promise. Damn.. Demitri remembered shooting Lynne and her stabbing him.
Kiel returned a friendly smile to another student and dropped his apple as Uriel suddenly stood, "Dinner is over. Return to your dorms. A few nighttime rules...do not wander outside in the dark. When night falls, you must be within the castle gates. If any student is found out of bed after curfew they will be punished. Disobey my rules three times and you will be expelled...or worse...dead." Kiel stifled a chuckle, "Dead? Now they're threatening death...how original." Elena smiled, "I'll show you. Come with me." She tugged on Kaila's sleeve and led her outside.
Alice pulled on a lock of his hair, "Nice. C'mon you two, we've got a lot of work ahead of us." Istar groaned, "Awww.....work..damn. Well...I suppose." He disregarded Auran's hair and Alice and his relationship.
Alice smiled gently, "No...it's good to re-visit the past. Keeps me in shape. At least...keeps me smart." Alice grinned and folded her arms behind her head, "I don't see the point in gettin' sad about something we have no control over. What's done is done." Istar watched her with a blank look, "Well that's different...I was sure she'd get mad."
Alice shook her head and shoved Istar away from Auran's ear, "I'm alive and Nova is fine with being dead and all. Being in the Dark's hands...let me figure some stuff out and learn a lot about the darkness. For a Keyblade Master of light...my body has a higher tolerance of darkness now. I'd thank the master of that Dark Nest but...I killed him when I escaped." Istar grinned, "Back when she was training, Alice was a real hothead."
Xenree shrugged off Sharumix's reluctancy to come with them and headed into the castle's gloomy foyer. "This place...I don't remember if there was any recollection in Riku's journal." She felt a wave of exhaustion overcome her and leaned heavily against a pillar.
As Izzie howled, someone rather unwelcome answered her. Savage wolf packs answered her howl. Growling, Izzie backed toward the door. Danny slammed his door shut on his house and snarled at the vampire maids that kept his home clean. "What are you looking at! Bring me my gun Sandy!"
Xenree nodded to Sharumix, "If that's what you want.... Though coming back might be a challenge...I sense a strong life force in this castle. They won't go without a fight."
Pursing her lips Xenree narrowed her eyes on the castle, "No....I sense something...a few hearts left behind....changed....a spell? They're mine." She stubbornly walked forward toward the large barred door. "Trying to keep something in? ....Or out? Either way...we need to get inside." Taking half a step backwards Xenree lifted her palm out to the door, "Outta my way!" Dark lightning burst from her palm and broke apart the door.
Izzie quietly resented herself for being so rude to her own kind and stood outside for a moment. Why had Danny left her here. Why this place? Shifting again she circled and stared at the moon. Opening her mouth she let loose a howl that had been pushing at her heart since Danny left. Danny couldn't have stopped his vampiric hearing from not hearing Izzie's howl if he wanted to. She was upset with him. He shouldn't have left her alone. Or rather with a human and her werewolf pet. "Don't fret Isabelle, I'll be back before you know it." Gazing at the remains of his hideout home, Danny growled and stormed off to the only house not on any map in the human world.
Lightning watched him, This isn't happening....how am I the one needing an apprentice to remind me of my will. "I'm no hero..." Lightning scowled at herself and thought, Coward before following Jaden. "It's a good thing I don't need my weapon to fight Calvary soldiers."
