People who say "lol i nevur thot sonee wud do tat" are quite naive to think that multi-billion dollar companies wouldn't ever do something legally questionable.

If I read more than the first and last page of this thread, I'd probably be pulling out my hair (which in relation to the current subject, is about as much murdering of life as an abortion)

The period in which a woman can abort the fetus is within 3 months of conception, or around 9 weeks, after that point you can not abort the fetus. The point in which a fetus has developed enough to have nervous systems to feel pain is roughly 20 weeks.

At the very latest period in which an abortion is legally allowed to take place, the "child' is not developed enough to feel pain, or even be medically claimed "alive", as vital organs have not even fully developed; the "child" is nothing more than a mildly developed clump of cells. The average human sheds more human tissue in a day than the mass of cells removed in an abortion procedure.

The typical person's ethical stance against abortion is often based on misconceptions from pro-life or religious propaganda that is completely unfounded, unfortunately most people don't bother to research for themselves what is actually taking place in conception and gestation.

Oh boy, do point out where I stated that Metal Gear started on the NES. What's this you say? I didn't say that? Well gee golly gosh darn diddley Batman!

I simply stated that the game was on the NES, I didn't say it started there, it was originally there, or even that it was a good game, I responded to the statement that Metal Gear has nothing to do with Nintendo by pointing out that 2 Metal Games were on the NES.

The term "shortage" means when consumer demand exceeds supply. It doesn't ncessarily mean a company is holding back supply, or that somehow the company is skimping off or slacking off on developing their product, it simply means that no matter what you do, the consumer demand simply outweighs what is physically possible to make for the market.

Shortages for the most part are an issue from the consumer end, not necessarily the production end, it's a matter of consumers demanding too much of a product that simply cannot be produced at a pace to satiate this.

Nintendo has sold nearly 25 million units of the Wii 1.5 years after it's launch. You know how much the Gamecube sold? 22 million units. 22 million units over the course of 7 years. With the Gamecube, Nintendo had 7 years time to sell 22 million units of their console. With the Wii, Nintendo has had to produce more than that in 1 year.

The Wii has had the fastest selling console launch ever, and Nintendo is producing over 2 million units of the Wii per month, no gaming company has ever done this from the launch of their console. None. Nintendo is selling Wii at a record breaking pace...and what goes hand in hand with selling at that pace, is producing at a record breaking pace.

As in, Nintendo has done more to produce their console in a launch period than any gaming company has in the past. It's unfortunate that despite this, no matter how much Nintendo ramps up production, it's the consumer's demand that cause the shortage, because the consumer demand is so astronomical, that no amount of record-breaking console producing on Nintendo's part is going to satiate the want for the Wii at the moment, which unfortunately makes people rag on Nintendo moreso than realizing that it's the fault of the market, not that Nintendo is slacking off on development.

Uhh, the original 2 Metal Gear games staring Solid Snake were on the NES

Sonic and Sega were rivals of Nintendo for a decade, the Nintendo/Sega competitions were things of gaming legend.

The Gamecube controller is probably the most comfortable and ergonomically designed controller...(next to the Z button placement, FFS).

The triggers are curved specifically to the shape of human index fingers, the other 3 fingers rest comfortably on the plastic (also molded to fit your fingers in this position), with the shoulder buttons being spring loaded and completely pressure sensitive.

The button placement is designed around where Gamers typically rest their thumbs: on the main button (in this case, the A button), which from there any other button presses typically are just removing the thumb from the A to the other buttons, before returning there. So naturally, the A button is the largest and easiest to press, and all other buttons are placed in a circle around it for access.

IN terms of similarity, the Xbox controller was most based off of the Dreamcast controller.

lol, asking why a Zelda game has a Hookshot and a Bomb Bag is like asking, "Hey, why do Kingdom Hearts games keep using Keyblades!?", or "Hey, why is Master Chief still using guns!?", it's a staple of the series.

The 3D Zelda's like OoT are a completely different experience from that of the 2D Zeldas like Link's Awakening, so even though staple things like a Hookshot or a Moblin might be present in both, but the experience of playing both are very unique from one another.

Have you played any other Zeldas?

Honestly, it's not that big of a deal to be good or bad at video games, it's not like it's a skill you'll need later in life, lol. So long as you're having fun with the games you're playing, that's al that matters, whether you play terribly, or you play as if you were the best in the world. Even if the games you play are easy, if you'rehaving fun then you don't really need to care about how your 'gaming skill' ranks up to people playing harder games.

You get better at Super Smash Bros through experience, practicing with your friends and stuff helps you learn how to properly dodge and block, technqiues and combos that help you attack and edgeguard your opponent, and how to properly use whatever character you prefer.

It also helps to watch Combo Videos of other people playing the game, so you can learn what kinds of things other players are doing, and then try and adapt some of their moves so you're a better player

Chances are, the other games you play that you are good at aren't, you know, difficult games at all.

Like, if you're using Kingdom Hearts as a benchmark of how good you are at games, chances are you're not very good, especially if you've ever found the Kingdom Hearts series difficult in the slightest.

If you play with the Wiiremote on it's side, you're basically going to be terrible at the game no matter what. That control scheme is the absolute worst one available and is extremely hard to play with and control properly. If you're going to play Brawl, get yourself a Gamecube Controller, or a Wii Classic Controller from your local game store.

...the hell. In order for someone to break your shield you basically have to be sitting still for a good 15 seconds not even doing anything....if you block your opponent's attack with a shield, they're sitting wide open afterwards..all you have to do it attack them

What difficulty are you playing on? Playing the game on "Easy" basically has all of your opponents standing still 90% of the time.

Uhh, no, mashing buttons doesn't work at all, you have to know how to actually attack properly >.> just mashing A makes you stand still, you have to actually use your attacks properly.

    Watch this:

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=qTHLsZL9iFg

Or go to "Data" and "Videos" and click on "How to Play", because it sounds like you don't even know the basics of how to play the game...

Uhh, what. Square-Enix is a 3rd Party developer, which means that they are not owned and have no obligations to make their games for any console manufacturer, and are free to put their titles on any console they wish.
