Oh, and what's this? Gamespot was the website with the whole embargo because they got paid for reviews.

If you actually read the articles, neither of them were even talking about GTAIV's review score, they were talking about the IGN website as a whole. Way to read.

IGN's review lists off several reasons why the game is flawed, several graphical glitches, monotonous/repeat missions, lock-on issues, buggy pop-ins. Yet, the game still got a 10/10. A game which you can have an entire checklist of problems with the game, yet the game still doesn't get knocked a single point?

I wouldn't call it short at all, my first playthrough took me over 30 hours to beat just the main story. And after you beat the game, there's a multitude of bonus content to unlock, things to collect, bonus stories to hear/read, that will easily last you another 10 or more hours.

    *SPOILERS*

    1. Read the Secret Reports and you'll find out. But if you really want to know, I'll give you the bare minimum info, to motivated you to read the reports: Mr. H is an Angel, he descends from the Highground (The opposite of the Underground) and acts as the "Producer" in The Game, his job is to help Players succeed, and is also the Muse of Shibuya, he works towards influencing the people of Shibuya to do great and creative things and better the city (which is why he was CAT)

    2. This isn't explained, but it might have been in the Secret Reports, which I haven't gotten all of them yet.

    3. Rhyme was brought back to life because Joshua restored Shibuya and gave everyone a second chance. The Game between Joshua and Megumi was to decide the fate of Shibuya, whether the city had a right to exist any longer and whether it's people had any hope. At the start of The Game Joshua had the intent to completely destroy the city, but his time with Neku showed him differently, Neku showed Joshua that Shibuya was full of hope, and it's people deserved to exist. By the end of the Game, when it came to a duel between Neku and Joshua, even in the face of losing everything Neku wouldn't hold his gun against Joshua, so Neku lost. But as Joshua said before the duel, he had already decided for himself what he wanted to do: he knew that he wanted to give Shibuya another chance.

    4. Joshua is still the composer, Joshua won the duel, so as explained above, Joshua remained composer and allowed Shibuya to exist.

    5. Considering Rhyme was brought back to life, I'd assume that Joshua returned the Reapers to existence as well.

    *SPOILERS*

Actually it's true, that's what happens after you beat the game, though it's worded a little iffy, that's pretty much what happens.

Uhh, what,I believe most Reviewing sites universally declared Assasin's Creed a disappointment..

Regardless of the game in question, I don't really like IGN nor trust their credibability, but honestly, I've come to face the fact that no one in the Video Gaming Review/Journalism industry has credibility, our industry is the most saturated palm-greasing one there is it at the moment.

For one, IGN got an "EXCLUSIVE REVIEW" for the game a week ahead of everybody else...what does that mean? That means that Rockstar gave them free stuff to get a positive review of the game out nice and early. Not the mention that the PS3 version of GTAIV is running on servers ran by IGN.

There is no "war" going on, the "Console War" is a completely fabricated idea of console fanboys who have to pledge allegiance to a piece of hardware, and at the same time declare their electronic like a godsend, the the Company behind the electronic as some almighty entity without fault.

Blu-Ray is a movie-playing format, so whether another video game console can read Blu-Ray discs is not relevant, because Blu-Ray is for movies and not video games. No other console can use the Wii Remote, and no other console can use Xbox Live, all 3 consoles have things that the other console can't do.

It took 7 years for the VHS to be overtaken by the DVD after the DVD was introduced, the Blu-Ray may not become a worldwide standard until 5 years from now.

Actually, I'd say those are the worst things about the KH Combat System, and one of the main reasons Kingdom Hearts 1 and Chains of Memories were infinitely better than KH2.

You know the most violant video game to date, Manhunt 2, is a Wii game?

Uhh, every Next-Gen console is capable of 3D graphics.

You shouldn't vote based on any arbitrary group that you're apart of, or because your Parents are doing something you should too, I can't count how many people I know who are simply "lol I'm a Democrat" or "I'm a republican" simply because their Parents were, so they decided that's what party they should be in, and thus that's who they should always vote for.

It's ridiculous that people do this, you should listen to the issues, listen to what Candidates are proposing, and then decide for yourself. Switching parties to vote for someone you know is going to do the right thing is as easy as filing some paperwork to switch parties, instead of blindly saying "Well I'm <this>, so my candidate is <this>, so I guess I'm voting for them". Pssh, that's how we go George Bush, people didn't listen to what he had to say, people simply thought "Well, I'd rather have a beer with Dubya than Al Gore, he seems liike and alright feller *VOTE*"

The story was very uhh, not good. Honestly, throughout the entire game you never really felt like you were on a quest to do anything, everyone's motivations for doing pretty much everything were so shallow, there was no real background or character development. The saving grace of the story was that in the end, everything was complete symbolism, and if you thought about it enough the entire story was really deep and meaningful, which sucks because at face value the story was complete ****, you had to break out your "Budhist Symbolism For Dummies' handbook in order for you to have any respect for what was actually going on.

Gameplay was fun, I wished more characters actually had unique controls like how with Viola you actually had to aim your arrows, etc. Sucks that by the time you get Harmony Chains, the enitre battle system just falls to button mashing. If they made it so that to do a Harmony Chian you actually had to time your combos, I'd like it better, but you could just mash X and everyone would just keep doing Super Specials over and over again, made you want to fall asleep.

I was also miffed that the character models, or even their weapons, didn't change at all based on what weapons or armor you had equipped, the game is visually gorgeous, I was hoping Next-Gen would allow them to do something like actual weapons/armor appearing on the characters.

Like I said before, the graphics are beautiful, not to mention the music was stunning, I was practically listening to Chopin for a week straight after I played the game, and the little bits where you got to read of Chopin's actual life were very interesting. On the note of graphics, it's also a shame that there is no open world exploration, every road is a straight line with every definite walls blocking you from going off the trail at all, everything is just go completely straight, or go completely backwards. Also, it alls befalls the typical RPG limitation of Powerful Monsters just being recolors of old weaker monsters, only this takes it pretty far, in that there are probably a grand total of maybe 10 actual monsters, and then 20-30 other ones are just recolors of those 10.

It was also sorta annoying that the game's Achievements, 75% of the could only be gotten from playing the game a 2nd time on Encore Mode.

Overall, the game was worth a rent.

Just some tips for when you guys gets this great game.

Abilities (What you would call spells, magic, special attacks, etc.) are called "Psychs" in this game, and these "Psychs" are in embedded in "Pins" that you find and collect throughout the game.

Anyway, your Pins level up independantly from Neku, and all have their own Damages, Effects, Terms of Use, Touch-Motions to Activate, Elemental properties, and even how fast/slow they level up. If you've played Final Fantasy X-2, it's a similar system to that of how the Dress Sphere's many abilities leveled up based on how much you use them, and eventually get "Mastered" (I know Finla Fantasy X-2 was admittedly a mediocre game, but the level up mechanics of the game were legitimately a good idea)

So moving on, when you look at the description of a Pin it'll tell you either "This Pin can Evolve" or that the Pin cannot Evolve. So, certain Pins through certain means actually evolve into more Powerful Pins.

The way Pins Evolve is through specific types of EXP in the game, for a Pin to evolve it will want that the majority of the EXP it's gained to have been from 1 of 3 types of EXP. So for Example, the Psych "Aqua Ghost" requires that the majority (More than 50%) of it's total EXP be from Battle EXP (EXP gained from using the Pin in Battle), if more than 50% of it's EXP s from Battle and you Master that Pin, suddenly it'll start glowing and Evolve into "Aqua Demon", a much more powerful Pin for you to use and level up some more.

The 3 Types of EXP are:
Battle EXP (EXP gained from using that Pin in Battle)
Shut-Down EXP (EXP gained from not playing the game)
Mingle EXP (EXP gained from using the Pin in Multiplayer)

What's this? Shut Down EXP? I'm not sure I mentioned that before, but yes, The World Ends With You gives you EXP for not playing the game! Early on in the Game the tutorial states "We know that life can be busy and you don't want to worry or feel guilty about not playing your Game, so the game automatically rewards you with Shut-Down- EXP, where your character and your equipped Pins gradually gain EXP over the course of the day you've spent not playing the game, so you can leave the game at home worry free, and be excited for the Prize waiting for you when you can finally start playing again"

So yes, certain Pins' evolutions suggest that you equip them and then just leave the game for awhile, and then the game will automatically award them with Shut-Down EXP towards their Evolution.

Also, don't worry about not knowing what % of a Pin's EXP was gained from a certain type, when you click on a Pin's description, there'll be a helpful Meter there that tells you what % of it's EXP came from where, and it's color coded. (Red: Mingle, Blue: Battle, Green: Shut Down). So, just make sure that 1/2 that Bar is the right color, and when you Master that Pin it'll evolve.

Nope, Square Enix press releases specifically note the pronunciation as "Three Five Eight Days over Two"
Post by: TheMuffinMan, Apr 20, 2008 in forum: Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 ReMIX
  13. TheMuffinMan
    / means division, not multiplication

But either way it doesn't really matter, as the 358/2 Days title is not meant to be a math problem. It is pronounced "Three Five Eight Days, Two", whereas people seem to think of it as "Three-Hundred Fifty-Eight Slash 2 Days".

The "days" portion is tied to the 358, but not the "2", so that suggests that 2 has nothing to do with the "days" at all. So, you're not meant to be dividing 358 in half, the 2 is independent of "358 days", and most likely is meant to represent something entirely different from a number of days.

Report Cards basically grade you on your ability to follow orders, not legitimately know information, or general intelligence.

    Regardless:

The fact that you have a full keyboard in front of you should not make it take forever to type. If you're using all of about 9 number keys on a phone, then yes it's understandable how difficult spelling out entire words can be when abbreviations gets the point across, but when you have an entire full keyboard in front of you there is absolutely no excuse.

Why do you say that. The Virtual-Console plays games that are the copied ROM files of the original game, and emulated on the Wii's hardware without the need for the actual console, so it emulates a digitalized console so that the game thinks it's being played on it's original system. Hence the name of the service: Virtual Console. The games are being streamed on what could be considered an imaginary virtual Console of the original one.

Yeah, but SystemRequirementLab specifically scans your computer, and gives you the step-by-step report of precisely what the game needs in comparison to what you have, a 1-5 level of how close you are to the required part, and whether your part under/over performs, and gives you direct links to websites where you can purchase the necessary parts, along with a finite overall report of whether you'll be able to run the game "Poorly", "Good Enough", or "Fantastic"

I never said I "knew sh*t about Tularim", but I "know sh*t" about the context of your victim scenario, where the big-bad DN fans gang up on poor little you, and I called you out on you being just as much wrong and disrespectful in the argument as you claimed the DN fans were.

And it seems you were "talking sh*t about people", particularly Madi, quoting their post out of context to make them seem like the bad person here, while leaving your entire involvement and instigation in the previous argument out of the picture.

Indeed it is not special, that didn't stop you from de-repping me with "You fail" for disagreeing with you.

Tularim: Wants to play the victim and get attention because "big bad anime fans were mean to me"

Muffins: Isn't going to buy into it, and calls them out on it.

    The End.

You're both in the wrong, except Mida isn't the one bringing it up days later in completely unrelated threads for attention.

Also, I'm not going to de-rep you, because I don't need to go "oh man, I'm gonna get rid of that guys internet points, hahaha, that'll teach him to disagree with me!"
