You guys should see the communities right now. Thanks to the latest TTA entry everyone's going crazy trying to find Alex's number.' I miss Slenderman. I want him back. Screw masky D:
You do NOT only use 10 percent of your brain. You use the whole thing. I keep hearing this crap in movies and ads for movies and it doesn't do anything but perpetuate the ignorance of the public. Educate yourselves.
Yeah. I am a full-on Christian and I completely agree. The fact is that some parts of the Bible are just kind of gruesome. The other day my little brother told me that his Sunday school teachers taught him about Sodom and Gomorrah. He's five. I was extremely disturbed. But I guess the teachers replaced "Having gay sex" with "Doing bad things", so I guess it's not that big of a deal. Still though, it's kind of insane. Apparently they also told him about Lot's wife turning into a pillar of salt. He found it funny, but if I were told that as a kid I would be horrified, seriously.
The funny thing is most modern music's lyrics are just as shallow as that but people ignore because they like the beat.
What is there to explain? He used a non-competitive deck in a competitive tournament, and he lost. No, I still would have won, because it didn't...
Yup, you sure are "intittle". But you seem to fail to realize that being entitled to your own opinion does not mean no one can say anything bad about it. I am also entitled to my own opinion. And it is my opinion that your opinion is crap.
Yes, you're right. I have no problem admitting this. I've already said that I don't believe religion is necessary to teach kids stuff like this. The point is it helps. It's a good alternative to everything you just said.
I always understood that stealing from other people was wrong, but stealing from places like Walmart never seemed bad to me because I wasn't stealing it from anyone directly. Social Contract Theory is good non-religious answer to this but again at the time I didn't have anyone to explain that to me.
I did think about it. A lot. At first I didn't understand why it was wrong to steal. I didn't really have anyone to explain it to me (Single mother, bad conditions, blah blah blah), so I spent a lot of time thinking about it. If someone had told me about Social Contract Theory or something back when I was 5, I might have gotten it or I might not have, I don't know. But the (at the time) abstract idea I had of God was enough to convince me that stealing was wrong. Also I have no idea where you're getting your information from but it was not like that how I grew up. If you broke the rules, you were punished, and God was never usually brought into the picture unless it was a really big deal involving Christian values (Like stealing).
That is how I feel now, but I was a kid then. You really just can't get stuff like that.
Not even a little bit. I believe the world will end when people least expect it.
But you're ignoring the fact that the thing he spent the most money on, healthcare, has absolutely nothing to do with getting us out of a recession. That was just spending money we don't have. Like I said if you're going to do something like that, do it when we can afford it.
I'll just agree to disagree here then. I can honestly tell you that there a few times when I was a kid where I could have stolen something but didn't because I knew God would be upset with me. My parents never could have found out.
...He DID raise taxes. Not directly, but he took away several incentives that Bush instated. For example, my parents can no longer claim me for going to college at a young age. You're right. 9/11 was a disaster for our country. What is going on in Japan has the potential to be a disaster for the entire world.
We don't have magical good luck powers. There is no such thing as luck. We just use good decks, unlike you. That's the difference.
What I want to see is a BBS-esque game where you play as Sora, Riku, and Kairi. That or a regular game where Riku and Kairi are your teammates instead of Donald and Goofy.
The funny thing is that the thing he's spent the most money on is his healthcare plan. That's also causing tons of taxes. It's insane that he thinks we can afford that right now. If you want to implement an insanely expensive healthcare plan, don't do it when we can afford it. Please be trolling. That's the funny thing though, the media really isn't giving him any bad press for it. The day that it happened i was watching the news and the woman said it right after talking about the Japan disaster. Just reported it like any other news with a big smile on her face. Spending trillions of dollars on healthcare, sinking us into even more debt, is not going to help. Spending exponentially faster than any other president in history is not going to help. Filling out NCAA brackets is not going to help. Having Justin Beiber in the White House is not going to help. If he's really that concerned about getting us out of this mess, he really isn't showing it.
I'm not saying Bush was amazing, but this guy is a lot worse in my opinion. Bush spent 4.7 trillion dollars over the course of 8 years. Obama has spent 4.2 trillion in TWO YEARS. We seriously cannot take much more of that.
European version of the game leaked earlier today. I haven't had a chance to play it, but apparently it's quite amazing.
About friggin' time (Note that I posted this yesterday). I really don't like that he downplayed the whole thing though. He didn't say a damn thing about the high risk of the reactors leaking or even exploding- which are very real, by the way. First of all, there IS something to suggest that- in my local news anyway (I live near a nuclear power plant) - that being tha the owners of the power plants are refusing to allow for inspection. Second, I don't want there to be "Nothing to suggest" that, I want to KNOW that the power plants are going to be checked and that my family and I are going to be safe.
