SO THE REST OF THE EPISODES ARE FINALLY OUT However, the show made the move from YouTube to the app VRV, which you have to make an account to access. Fortunately, you can make a free account without going for any of the available subscription options, but you'll have to watch with ads. Episodes 5 and 6 were smooshed into one episode, and 7 through 10 were smooshed into another single episode.
New season two trailer! Season two will launch on Netflix on January 20.
The Japanese website for the Switch has updated in preparation for the special presentation next week. UPDATE: Nintendo has additionally announced that the Treehouse will be going in-depth into the games announced in the presentation in a live presentation at 9:30am ET the next morning! This Treehouse stream will be available to watch on Nintendo's YouTube and Twitch channels. UPDATE 2: The US Switch website has also updated.
In fairness, Disney has put out some pretty serialized and actually really good cartoons in recent history--TRON: Uprising, for example, and though I haven't seen them, Gravity Falls and Star vs. The Forces of Evil get a lot of praise, too.
I'm really excited for the show to come back off of hiatus at the end of this month! If I remember correctly, Rebecca Sugar said somewhere a while back that they'd written the show to wrap up in five seasons, and with all the episodes that have currently been released we're already about a third of the way through season four, so we should be seeing things start to pick up with this next Stevenbomb.
