"Is there any reason now for you want to leave so darn bad?" Mixt mocked
"We are only enemies if you make yourself such. Both remaining members of the council are in this room. You could leave and start a rebel group, and likely never get close to seeing me again. Or we could end the squabble here, by ink or by blood."
Try to keep personal attacks to a minimum. You can disagree without the other person being an idiot.

"I'm surprised at you. Have I left such an impression on you that you no longer think you can take me? First time we met you had me pinned to rock, now that you are finally free again you are just going to walk away?" Mixt said, not wanting to let her go though he could not explain why he would literally fight to have her there a bit longer.
There were alterations made on all rule threads, so we told you to read all of them. Even says that in the announcement.
The site is young enough and so few people came looking for appeals that it was just not all that pressing and got overlooked. Though that second point is a bit of chicken and the egg logic since people didn't bother coming back because officially they couldn't.
Look at the second half of this http://kh-vids.net/showthread.php?127201-Warnings-Infractions-amp-Bans Most people missed it under the freak out of the bullying rules.

Most of your appeal was done before we had the system. In fact your appeal is part of why we went and made an appeal system instead of leaving some arbitrary unspoken version. So you hit delays because of that.
It currently is. He is getting an appeal. Worst case scenario is no change.
Considering the change is part of the appeal policy. It would not be fair to other banned members or any staff that may wish to raise a counter point to accelerate the process. It shouldn't take that long anyway.
What model is it? If you had one of the launch ones I weep for you. Really I weep regardless, but I weep more in that case.
OOC: Oops, phantom post. I really have to look out for those, I do it a lot. IC: Mixt sighed and tried to calm himself, he couldn't be too aggressive here. Despite any motions of peace the hub had the upper hand here and they all knew it. "Seems more like a proper network than a true hivemind. Anyway, you seem to be fairly honorable. Can you tell me why you and your brothers are pushing for war? You all my be on the verge of invincible but you are not immortal, sooner or later the consumers will die and if you get rid of humans as well you won't be able to make more. You may rise to power but if you win this war you will destroy yourselves."
First, you have to nullify a lot of the two million per case because it is mostly court costs and any crime of that scale will go through a similar process, regardless of outcome. Second, in old days a death sentence was very much the norm and was very quick and easy, we can just as easily return to that as go your route; this is not to say we should but it is that way because there has already been compromised in your direction. Third, life in jail is far more expensive to do because of the cost of living, particularly at the security levels that a capital punishment case would end up with. And before you rage at me (since you obviously feel strongly about this) I'm mostly playing devils advocate. I'm fairly neutral on this topic leaning a bit towards the con side with you.
Actually, statistically speaking you are just as safe at a theater as almost anywhere else. Also this seems relevant. That is not to say that the event is any less tragic, but our world really doesn't suck all that bad.
The plotline is dark, fair warning. Aside from that I did really like it, although it is very repetitive to play the three plotlines. As good as KH2? Maybe a bit shy, it is a "side game" on a lower power system. But very respectable, and very crucial to the future plot. I would go for it if only because you will be really confused without that part of the plot. Though you could always watch the scenes here if you decide not to play it.
Alright, 3 hours later and I'm mostly up to speed. Still haven't read much of the spamzone stuff aside from this thread. I stand by my earlier post, but it is almost all stuff that was in someway stated in the Suggestion forum's thread.
Sorry, that's my bad. Really should have tried to get more up to speed before posting. I had only read this thread at the time I posted that. Wouldn't have posted here at all if I saw the other thread sooner since that its the proper place for it.
I really don't get the backlash here, we already had troll and flaming rules. The major rule expansion is more about clarification than actually being new. Trolling rules have been long let slide except for extreme cases because giving members some benoit of the doubt and such. If staff hasn't already talked to you about behavior you're in little danger, but even if it has been brought up to you before it isn't like this is the warning flag of a banning spree. Also, it is unfair to expect people to become thick skinned to rude comments just as it it's unfair to expect you all to be perfectly polite all the time. But if both sides can reach a middle ground this could end up better for everyone, those that refuse (in both cases) are likely not to have such a good time. And Makaze, the rules are written with some grey area because we accept that we won't be able to write black and write rules here. First it is a subjective topic, and thus any terminology is open for some debate. Second, we are not exactly qualified to draw the line in the sand. We would have our hands tired to punish people that didn't really deserve it, or not be rightly able to punish someone that should be. This is also good for you guys in a way because you aren't going to be punished immediately for anything but extreme cases, there is a little bit of give to get you on the right track. Bottom line is that you don't need to like everyone here (god knows there are a few members that get under my skin) but you can still be respectful about it, or even just be a bit tactful so that you aren't disrespectful.
