Ignoring Ed, Xenree rubbed her forehead, "Five left...that means...I have some time..." Crowley nodded and patted her head, "Indeed. You will make it, my dear." "Right..."
Crowley chuckled, almost like a maniac, "Amusing...a little boy like you, questioning my deals. A demon, doesn't do fair deals." Xenree shuddered and held her hand out towards Ed as if attempting to prevent him from coming closer to Crowley. "Crowley...how many more..." He opened his mouth to protest and her temper snapped, "HOW MANY!" "Five."
Nevan stifled a sneeze and summoned his bow. "We don't find him...he finds us. Like this.." Firing a burning blue arrow into the sky, he watched it burst into flames in the sky. The flames twisted into a shape of what seemed to be a celtic cross in the sky. "All set." Alice panicked, "Istar, no! You're not going out there. Neither you nor Auran are going out there. I'll go. Nevan won't hurt me. Margaret was my master." "Alice, this is my problem. What did I tell you about letting me do my job and not getting in my way. You're being just as stupid and stubborn as you were five hundred and seventy-three years ago!"
"She gains power and her soul. Fair enough for you, young man?" Xenree moved in front of Crowley and summoned her Keyblade. "Crowley is my master, you will speak to him with respect."
Crowley and Xenree stared at the boy, "She's fully aware of what she's done."
Xenree let Crowley hug her and smooth her hair like a beloved daughter. "You promised you'd fufil your task...and now...instead of seven months...you have seven weeks." Xenree spun around, "Weeks? Crowley that's not enough time! Each time I collect the time seems to slip away!
Nevan grinned as he followed Gexln. "Well it's good to see someone else was raised as I was." Radiant Garden flourished to him. The brilliant colors and peace washed over him. "Place sure is nice..." he wrinkled his nose at the flowers, "My hayfever allergies are going to be going crazy."
Luce hopped out of her jeep as she parked behind Lenny. Her silver eyes scanning the area, assessing how many police officers there were and how they were acting. "Seems like we're going to start work...with Lenny." It felt odd to be working with Lenny...just like the old days when they'd all first came. A small smile twitched at her lips at the memory. Adjusting her soft gray V-neck t-shirt she went to stand beside Lenny. "Game plan?" Her dark jeans and shirt didn't quite say federal agent but it was do-able.
Xenree stared up at the brilliant moon. Her job was finished the second Orias left. An odd glitch ripped through her and her powers tore each heart from everyone. "Wh-why...why now? Where do I go?" Crowley wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her. "You've done so well Xenree....you're so close. I'm proud of you my daughter." Xenree flinched and let her head fall to her chest.
"What do I look like? Someone who belongs to the dark? Be my guest." Nevan sighed and waited for Gexln to create the portal. Margaret's voice echoed in Nevan's head. "Reaper, Reaper, that's what people call me! Why? 'Cause they all die! When I sing, I end their lives You act as though payback makes you a noble man Is that a fact? Well, you're a goddamn Philistine! Requiem eternal Bullets fly through the sternum Lullaby to Hell, babe Reaper's got your name! Margaret is Greek, you geek It means 'a pearl'; I'm a pure girl Boys cannot crack this oyster shell, so go on Whip around that sword like you're the best; it's a such a bore Another hero! Oh, please!' Soon he was humming the song.
Nevan leaned on one leg and watched Gexln pace. "O-kay, Mr. Gexln of the Darkness. These "portals of Darkness" easy, no? Unless you're worried this Auran guy will stand up for Istar and you won't be able to fight. Interdimensional pathways between the worlds aren't necessarily hard to travel for one such as me. After all....how did I get here?" Nevan's patience was wearing thin, "I need to get to Istar to kill him..." He turned and started whistling the song Philistine. Istar glowered down his nose at Auran, "Again with this guy...Listen buddy, I couldn't care less who you're protecting. Me, Alice, even a random cat! I'm saying, I don't need your protection, even if it is for Alice's life. I die, she dies, everbody wins except you; which is how I like it!" His golden eyes blazed with insanity. "That's enough Istar. Auran leave him alone. He has problems." Alice touched her hands to Auran's arm, "I'd rather find Nevan before he finds us. Having the upper hand to reason with him would be better for us."
Elena pushed hair out of her face and impatiently tugged on Kaila's sleeve, "Oh, please hurry Kaila. Ren is mainly in charge of protecting the school from the creatures that dwell in the forest surrounding here. Surely you knew." Elena's soft voice insistently probed her. Ren's back hurt from hitting the ground and his ears pricked, listening for anything. A branch snapped and Ren's head shot up. "This isn't my day..." Beady orange eyes appeared in the darkness before him and Ren scooted backwards, dragging his injured leg. The creature snarled at him, it's tone low and irritated. Chuckling under his breath, Ren braced his back against a tree and spread his wings. "Honestly, it's sad when your kind tries to attack a history teacher." Water gathered in his palm and increased steadily.
Yay! It's never too late!
Can I have Reno?
Aww, so precious. I <3 you too!
Nevan sighed, "Well...there's one way you can be of help miss. Where are we?" "Oh my, this is Enchanted Dominion. A world with our very own Princess of Heart, Aurora." Dragging a hand through his hair, Nevan shook his head, "A world with a Princess of Heart...I'm in over my head. Do you know where I can find Lady Alice of Lladrana?" "Oh yes, she's the kind young woman traveling with Auran. Oh, they're off in Radient Garden." Nevan's face dropped, "You have to be kidding me." Istar grumbled, "Great, we have hero-boy on our side. I don't need protecting! i can take care of myself!" "Says the man who came to me for help. A girl. Who's family he killed." She gave him a hard glare and Istar wilted a bit, "I'm not saying I haven't made mistakes in the past...but I can take care of myself. I DID kill Reaper Margaret!" Alice's glare grew cold and he shut up.
Nevan gave him a stony look and summoned his bow. The end of it blazing with blue fire, "You'd best put me on the ground or loose your arm, miss." "Oh dear!" She set him down and Nevan brushed off his clothes. "Now...I don't have time to mess around with fairies." he turned to Gexln, "Oh would you shut up!? I'm not fat, I'm reasonably sized for a man of my age." "Oh, you're the dear Margaret was talking about. Nevan Irik. You are much more unusual than I expected." "Is that so?"
[/COLOR]Nevan laughed like a nut when Gexln tripped....until he couldn't feel his feet on the ground anymore. "What the....?" Looking up Nevan saw a fairy woman? "He's so heavy!" "Hey..who're you calling heavy! Put me down! What's the meaning of this?" Struggling like a child, Nevan wiggled in the fairy woman's arms.
Nevan's face took on a serious look and he scowled at the ground, "Well...being a Reaper means you collect the souls of the Universe... Margaret always said souls are difficult to collect since it's only the heart that's released from the body when someone dies... I'm not sure how to become one...but, I know it isn't pretty or easy. There are paths in this world not blessed with light." Stopping Nevan took in the sight of Sleeping Beauty's castle. "Cool...a castlle! Race ya!" he smacked Gexln in the chest and bolted up the road leading to the front gate.
Nevan gestured to his foreign clothing, "Do I look like I know where I am? I've never left Lady Margaret's side before...these worlds are new to me." He stopped talking and tilted his head, "Though I do sense human souls here. Obviously the place is populated." Nevan started off in a direction, "You're not a Guardian of a Reaper if you can't pick up a few of their tricks." His voice was light and his mood carefree as he walked.
