His father, growing old, took the easier path of criticizing Gabe's work. "You plannin' on wasting this spot because you want to preserve some rock?!" Sighing with exhaustion and slight humor at his father, Gabe turned around and picked up the rock. It was rather heavy and warm in his palm from the sun. "Don't worry father, we'll have enough turnips at the end of the season to have earned mother's apple pie." Heaving the rock, Gabe threw it, using a large portion of strength to chuck it outside of the field. "Happy?" His father grunted and roamed his gray eyes along the fields. "Sun'll be settin' soon. Better hurry it up, boy."
Istar folded his arms as Nevan and a kneeling Gexln came into view. "Now's the time. Nevan! Toss aside your weapon and say goodnight!" Nevan's delighted chuckle echoed in the empty streets, "No thanks...it's not my bedtime. It's payback time, Istar! For your crimes...I will be the one to purify you!"
Xenree's eyes blazed and her temper snapped. "NO! Would you rather I defy and waste my time sitting around acting like in seven weeks I won't just die!? At least I can do something about this Orias! Even if I'm down to the last minute, I will do this! If it gets me back my soul and frees me from the contract I made...I'll do anything..." She choked on her words and started to cry. "Don't you think...that I worry about this everyday? I was foolish and I wanted to learn what Riku did. He learned a valuable lesson that no one else can if not following in his footsteps. Crowley...I know what he is now...once I get my soul back, I will defeat him and end this nightmare." Wiping her eyes Xenree met Orias' eyes, "I will not stand here and throw a tantrum because I lose one battle when I can work to win the war."

A rather odd shaped creature stopped and snatched up Kaila's bracelet in it's sharp teeth. Chomping on it once and seeing it wasn't food, it attempted to spit it out and instead had the bracelet slip inbetween it's teeth. It shook his head, red eyes narrowed in frustration and annoyance and shot up into the sky on leathery wings. Ren fell asleep in the infermary of the school after Elena left and he assumed she went to bed. Kaila...I need to explain... Kiel observed his empty room and slumped on the bed. This place....angels? It exists...now...Sister Amelia said....my father is at a place that shouldn't exist and yet does for our safety...does that mean here? Uriel sat in her room at the top of the tower and glared at a basin of water. "You're telling me my students must be subjected to trials and problems that should not concern them!? This is absurd!" She opened her mouth to continue scolding whoever she was talking to and was cut off by a large ripple. "I understand that...but... Yes, it matters very much to me and our Father, but... No Brother, I mean no disrespect...I mearly am concerned for their safety. And that of our teachers. Ren already, has witnessed and reported the strength of the Dark has increased this year."
Nevan gritted his teeth and his blue eyes darkened, "It's important because Istar murdered my Master. He MURDERED Reaper Margaret. In cold blood. For power...so now...he must reap the consequences." Istar quieted down as they walked, "Nevan is my problem...the other one is yours."
Yeah, I'm okay. You've been gone a long time. I sure hope you're good.
Lightning narrowly dodged a black tendril and did a quick survey of the area. Darkness, swallowing everything. "L--" she started and watched Leo speed away on his Eidolin. Stay safe Leo. The world needs the new l'Cie. Light jumped in the opposite direction than Leo and headed away from the commotion.
Sounds good. :3 Elena carried Ren back to the school and tucked him into the infirmary. "Stay here. Please, Ren, I won't have you going out again tonight. Their strength has increased...we need to ask a Seraphim to allow us to use more of our Heavenly powers. Oh, for goodness sake, would you please, clean this mess?" She gestured to the piled books and dust coverings over the furniture and shelves overflowing with ritual things. Ren chuckled and relaxed his body. "I'll try to take your advice to heart, Elena. By the way...you didn't bring Kaila out when you came for me did you?" He watched her glance away and let out a frustrated moan, "For Heaven's sake Elena, she doesn't know about what we do! Uriel made that quite clear when she introduced her here. Ugh, I hope the Seraphim get here fast...they'll be able to explain to Kaila...and to the students..."
Istar laughed, "Won't see us coming? Dude...Nevan know's were coming. Reaper Guardian, remember? Guy's got wicked senses. And..." he pointed to the sky and the burning blue celtic cross among the clouds, "That...is Nevan's mark. He'll see us coming before we even see him. Nevan...Reaper's Guardian...perfect marksman. Guy's got eyes like eagles...err, so the rumor goes."
"Depends....on how long you've been human. Me? I treasure being human. When you're the guardian of a Reaper...your life isn't exactly...humane." Nevan sighed and fiddled with his bow. He started humming Phillistein again.
Elena sighed, "Oh, Kaila!? Great..." Elena hurried out into the forest, a bolt of lightning struck at her feet and she murmured to Ren, "It's me, Ren. I've come to bring you home." Dragging him up and towards the school, Ren constantly moaned.
Heeyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nevan chuckled, "Nah, man. Having allergies is the last thing that makes me human." He left it at that and folded his arms. Alice waved good-bye to them, "Be safe..." Istar slapped at Auran's hands, "Holy Mother of...dammit, boy! That hurts! Don't just go carving into people." Walking out with Auran beside him, Istar rolled his shoulders and felt the air around him, touching each hilt of his blades.
Istar patted Alice's shoulder, "C'mon Auran...time for a little fun." He pushed past Auran and mumbled to him, "There's not large chance of us surviving this. Nevan is a good fighter and whomever this Gexln guy is, I'm sure he's no amatur." Nevan sneezed again, "C'MON! Istar, you want to fight me or let me sneeze to death!"
Xenree sighed, "Crowley says it's to make me actually do my job... Seven weeks is still a long time."
Xenree sighed and nodded, "Alright. We move out then."
Xenree pulled back, dark circles under her eyes, "I'm sorry Orias...I'm running out of time. I have to go."
Xenree buried her face in Orias' back and Crowley left. Two boys on the beach caught Sharumix's attention, if only briefly. "Huh? Sora, what's wrong?" The other boy with brown hair gave him a quizzical glance, "You're..." he pointed to his face and the brown haired boy touched a tear running down his cheek. "Well that's weird. It feels like someone is squeezing my heart." His friend gave a small smile, "Maybe...someone up there is really hurting." "Up where?" "In the universe. I bet, they're really sad and they want you to help." The brown haired boy frowned, "How am I supposed to help them?" "Maybe...they just want someone to open their heart and listen." They both looked to the sky. "Y'know Riku, you say some pretty weird stuff. But I'll try it!" he closed his eyes and lifted his face to the sky.
Lynne grimaced as she walked the pathways through the garden. "Flowers.....so pretty...and yet...so painful to breath in.." A twig snapped behind her. Lynne spun and glanced around at the empty space. "Who's there?" Her palms grew sweaty as she turned around again. "Mya...? Kurisu this isn't funny." Her heart beat faster until she heard her blood roar in her ears. "Hello?" A man wearing a white doctor's coat tapped her on the shoulder and Lynne jumped, "Jeez, doc you scared me!" "I'm glad at least you recognize fear...for once, Lynne." Lynne's blood froze in her veins and the scent of chloroform hit her nose and the world went black.
