Nevan watched Istar's eyes glaze in pain before stepping away. "So pathetic... I'd rather see you suffer in pain than kill you quickly. Why won't you fight with your full power?!" "Yeah, since that's what I'd want to do so soon in the battle. Maybe you'd settle for NOW!" Nevan turned and met Istar's glowering eyes, "I'd like to see you try." Istar snapped off the shaft of the arrow sticking in his chest and wobbled to his feet. Several thin katanas hovered in the air around his body and disappeared. Reappearing around Nevan. Nevan smirked, slapping his hand to his heart and turned on his heel. A wave of gray-ish black fog made him vanish and appear a ways away from the swords. "You underestimate me still, Istar. Lady Margaret's death shall not be in vain!"

Cloud lifted her head and met Krios' eyes evenly. "A dragon must protect their name with their lives...on the other hand....if a human proves they are honorable, I am permitted to tell you my name. Acts of honor are difficult in my mind as no human I've met has shone me one worthy of my name." Cloud's lips lifted and showed her white fangs for a moment before she yawned. "I have no human to guide me through your ways. The Lightning village is...isolated from most others and I am quite tired of humans from there." Opening her wide, white wings, Last-Cloud-After-Dawn prepared for departure. "Same praises sung, are wasted praises."

Cloud huffed and lightly lipped Olivia's pigtails. "Dragons have no hair...it is an interesting aspect of humans...by far the only interesting part of you." Cloud's golden eyes scanned the skies for a while before focusing back on the human. "If your dragon were wild, like me, I'd say you should be more cautious with telling his name. If you wish to know my name...you will have to earn it. Otherwise...if you go to the Lightning village, you will find many who are curious about me." Cloud murmured for a while and rubbed her nose against olivia's stomach. "Human's....are soft... Not like cattle...or small rabbit that run the fields." Comparing her to food made Cloud hungry. She snaked out a tongue and licked Olivia's face. "Unique taste...not good for eating...too sharp."

Akira stared at Grey, "What? Never accomplished anything..? Grey, they took down Orphan...and a fal'Cie. Doesn't that mean anything to you? What would make you believe that they're heroes?" She lost her focus for a moment and looked down the way Leo had taken everyone, "You expect me to run? Wh-where are you going?"

Lynne spat at the man's feet and he backhanded her. Her cheek stinging and the taste of blood in her mouth made her mood even worse. "Oh aren't you just the polite little girl?! Mind your mouth, girl or I'll beat you into next week." She doubted he would; if he wanted to have her beaten and dead, he'd have done so already.

Nevan ignored Auran as if he hadn't appeared and fade-warped in front of Istar, "No Alice to protect you now." He pulled back his bow and three arrows notched into it, "Point blank, sh!thead!" "Crap!" Istar felt all three arrows lodge into his chest, the glittering of sand pouring out of the holes. "Sorry...this week is my no dying week. I'll see you in Hell only after you go first!" He punched Nevan in the jaw and headbutted him. "You can't survive every hit, Reaper!" Nevan grimaced and closed his eyes, "Jerk...dirty fighting, huh? I sure hope you don't..." Nevan gripped a steel-tipped arrow and dug it into Istar's chest, just below his heart, "Run out of sand!"

Alice dropped in the house they'd left her in. Tears streamed down her cheeks as pain lanced through her body. A small, yet painful, dark red stain appeared on her clothes right below her heart. "Istar..."

Cloud pulled her nose back out of reach of the human. "Humans' hear my voice when I will it. I do no answer human questions. You will answer mine." She sniffed at the air for Olivia's dragon and spread her wings, "There is but one dragon bound to you. I would not approach a tamer like you without caution if you had no dragon. I will not be treated like a pet." She snuffled at Olivia's hair again, "Your patch of fur is curious."

ooc: honestly I don't know what to post...being kidnapped doesn't have much.

bic: Lynne woke and felt her hands and ankles tied to a chair. "Wh-what? Where am I?" "You're awake...good. You're a long ways away from your friends, that's one thing. The other...I'm about to make the Runner's have one less member." Lynne licked her lips and smirked, "You're a bad liar. You're not going to touch me." A man's voice laughed, the one that had spoken before, "And you believe that? Surely you underestimate my hatred for you." "For me, or yourself."

Nevan dashed toward Istar, his blue eyes blazing with anger and grief. "Die murderer!" Istar swung his heavy sword at Nevan in attempt to keep his opponent away from him. Jumping over the sword, the edge of his bow came down hard on Istar's shoulder. Dismissing his sword, and grabbing ahold of Nevan's collar he hissed wordlessly at him and swung him backwards, smashing both of their backs into the ground. Picking himself up, Nevan disappeared and warped a large distance away from Istar. "Your death shall be my release. Bolt of Purification, rip this unclean one into oblivion!" An arrow of pure blue energy notched itself into the bow. "I'll see you in hell!" Releasing it, Nevan held his breath, watching the arrow speed towards Istar.

    In the Morning...

Uriel, not having slept very well, hustled through the hallways, a loud mental bell ringing in each of the student's heads as a sigh of breakfast being served. "Good morning Ren, Elena, Gabriel...Sanya...what are you doing out of bed?" Uriel stared down at the young angel before her. Sanya, a half-ling, stretched her wings. One being metallic and machine generated, the other normal of pure white feathers. Uriel patted the girl's head and smiled gently, "Be careful today, Sanya."

Gabriel grinned, "Good morning Uriel. Sanya will be alright. She said she wanted to teach class today. Seeing as she's still standing...she seems to be determined." He crouched behind Sanya and played with her metal wing until the little girl scowled at him.

Elena was propping Ren up on crutches and smoothing his bed head hair. "Ren too should be fine for class today. Though for the next few weeks I beileve someone else should take his place on night shifts."

The young girl squirmed until she was free of Gabriel's tinkering fingers and Uriel's hand. "I'll be alright, Uriel-sama...I feel better today. Plus, I didn't want to miss seeing the Seraph of the High Court come today."

ooc: Nope, no plan for dying. Akira's like Hope. Her faith is easily changed.

bic: Akira looked up at Grey with glazed eyes, "If I want to live...? But...Lightning..." she glanced towards the direction Light had dashed off in and grabbed Grey's hand, swinging herself up and behind him. "What do I do...? Without Lightning's guidance...I'm nothing." Lightning hadn't asked if anyone wanted to go with her...hadn't said anything about leaving them. Just like Snow...they were out another experienced l'Cie.

Akira watched Lightning ride away and felt despair grip her. She felt her hope slide from her body and sink into the Rift. "This isn't real...it can't be.

Lightning urged Odin as fast as he could go toward the elevator joining Pulse and Cocoon. Her plan: confront the Sanctum. Why? She wanted and deserved answers about this new set of army enforcing the Gauardian Corps. Sanctum knew it had no right bothering in all the security of Pulse. Cocoon was their job since the creatures of Pulse were much too much for them. A wave of pain hit Light's heart as she thought about Snow and Serah. It's in the past now...all I can do is move forward. Light hurried toward the Archylte Steppe again and towards the elevator and finally towards Palumpolum. Another tear at her heart...Palumpolum...Hope's home city. Her last stop would be Eden.

The Seraphim walked through the door and smoothed Tori's hair. "Pardon the intrusion, my dear. Sleep well Tori. Tomorrow...I'll show you a world you'll not soon forget. I shall guide you...if you'll let me. Trust in the Courts...I'm here to keep you steady." He stroked a hand along her wrist and a light blue ribbon tied itself on her. Trust in the Courts....trust in me... and with that he faded from her room.

The Seraphim, having returned moments before everyone went to bed, stood outside Tori's door. His hands, shrouded by long, draping sleeves, gently touched the door and the sound of a harp running up and down a scale echoed in Tori's room.

Uriel fumed and paced the length of her rooms. "I will not tolerate this...this is insanity! Dammit, Gabriel, would you say something!?" A half asleep Gabriel lounged on a loveseat in her plain cream colored rooms. "What would you have me say, sister? I know not why the Seraphim want to test the students so early. Tomorrow classes begin and at the end of the day...the time will come. I trust in the Seraph of the Summer Court. Who you place your alliegance with is not my concern." Uriel slumped into a wooden rocking chair, "My trust is also with the Summer Court. But Ren...has stated very clearly his trust is with the Dark Court....and the others...I've no idea." "Sleep and wait dear sister."

Cloud circled the Wind town a few times before descending. A few people pointed up at her and others bolted towards home. Hmph, as if I would eat any of them...about as tasteful as a mouse....not to mention as filling as one. Cloud's golden eyes roamed over the people and caught on a young girl. She smelt like another dragon. Keeping herself retained in the posture of a proud dragon she slowly padded toward her, lowering her head to the girls and snuffled at her hair. Interesting creature....one who tames a dragon... Her head snapped up and a low growl rumbled from her throat.

A slight glimmer caught Nevan's eye as he watched Istar grab a thick sword out of thin air. "Perhaps, some things are better left judged in the aftermath of the battle."

Cloud stretched her wings wide and snorted at the still falling rain. Living on a mountain in the Lightning region had grown boring to her. Humans....always so excited to see one of my kind. She lurched from her cave and glided easily in the rain. Rain pelted her wings and body and Cloud figured now was the day she'd assess the humans around town and in the Wind town to see if any of them had the guts and mind to be for her. Pumping her wings, she rocketed upwards and into the clouds. Joy filled Cloud's heart at the motions of flying and the touch of water in the clouds on her face.
