"In order to become a Master you must kill me"
"Isn't that kinda against your statement about me controlling darkness? And how will you declare me Master if I kill you?"
    "Shuttup and kill me!"
    "But-"
    "Do eeeet"

The movie is a lot better if you get through the first series. Though I thought it was pretty good in itself despite being cheesy. Then again I was really young at the time.

That's actually when I phased out of Digimon some. I'm not really sure why, I followed it up until the reached the digital world and then it just lost me.

I've got other things to do first (even if it would be a severe understatement to say I've been slow about it). But eventually yes.

Could you or Nate please link me to exactly which one it is so I can try and investigate a bit? I just successfully downloaded all five of them.

I only read the first few posts. So yeah...

Fat people can cosplay well, but it is harder and the results are disastrous if you get it wrong. Here's one that doesn't look that bad to me

Unfortunately it's hard to find pics of good fat cosplays since most of what comes to the top is the bad ones. Though I will admit that the best cosplays are when you look somewhat like the character to begin with, and most people in animes aren't fat.

I'm not sure why the thread looping merited this being brought up again in a new thread, but I don't see it as a problem. Knowing that video players are big all browsers I know of skip loading those for last. If you want to watch the videos you'll need to wait that little bit of time either way. If you don't you can scroll past where it is. If the players loading still manages to cause inhibiting lag, then you need to either drop the page size or look to see if there is some other problem.

Also, since you say you're not actually having problems it makes the point fairly moot. If we receive complaints about how it is causing problems that would be another thing, but as it stands "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

    Against The Tide ~ Celldweller

"Beneath the storm you're left to fight alone
Remember son, you're reaping what you've sown
Under the waves I'm sinking like a stone
I'm sorry son, you're reaping what you've sown"

Mixt went and picked the pendant up to examine it, blatantly ignoring it being sacred. "Very curious, " He muttered. And then put it back down as he turned to leave. "Could you show me one of the less traveled temples? Not a deserted level, but just a smaller congregation?"

PC version actually, but it was for Windows 3.1 with compatibility into Windows 95 (which is where I played it). The only ways I'm finding to play it on Windows 7 involved downloading patched up installers making the fact that I found the disk irrelevant.

It seemed more like you gave an open ended challenge and I was the one to pick it up. That being said I had no reasoning behind it being here. Sax wanting it taken elsewhere is good enough for me. I'll send you a PM in a bit to continue.

As with all communication receipt counts for just as much as (if not more than) delivery. I'll try to keep in mind how you feel on it.

The removal of a permaban was designed to be a slow process to make sure it is thorough, so for the most part time has very little to do with how we felt on the subject. Most appeals are likely to take about as long as this one, though there is no hesitation to extend the staff discussion if we aren't at a consensus.

The idea that an unconvinced staff member could make life harder for any member, recently unbanned or otherwise, is legitimate but for what it is worth I feel it is somewhat misplaced. While I would be foolish to assume that it doesn't happen at all, it is a group decision to ban members in the end. So despite a faster route to the end, we won't ban people that don't deserve it. Additionally, getting singled out could very well lead to disciplinary actions within staff due to abuse of power. If you or anyone else feels that a staff member is using power or authority against you wrongly please let someone on staff uninvolved with the incident know. It is very open and I could trigger an investigation of Misty if so called to, rank has nothing to do with it (well other than the fact that final action involves admin access. If you by some unholy act get both admins blindly angry at you despite the fact that I've never seen either one like that, well you're just hosed). If you think everyone on staff is somehow against you then there is likely some misunderstanding (did we communicate something to you badly? do you know something we don't? etc.)

I do understand cynicism here though. Fear of the unknown and fear of authority are both very common and logical at certain levels. So the concept that we are making decisions that affect you guys and that you can't see exactly how they come about is something to be weary of despite what faith any of you have in us. Though I do think that for various reasons those discussions should still be closed, site security and member privacy being the big two reasons. Though if you've got other reasons I would love to hear them. You were pretty silent when it came to staff for a while and then just seemed to randomly grow pessimistic about almost everything we do. Down to questioning if this unbanning had ulterior motives.

Argumentum ad ridiculum is never supposed to be taken seriously. It is supposed to bring attention to an idea by humor. It is actually one of my favorites since it is generally less aggressive.

More seriously, we act by what we think is best for the site. If we did not think ShadowJack should be here we would have left him banned and it would have been all too easy to do. We wouldn't wait for some more ideal time to ban him. The only time you could say that we are "looking to ban someone" is when we see personalities that seem like they are sooner are later going to break rules. But that is more about efficiency than anything else. I can only speak from when I became staff (though I know it was different before), but we are actually pretty slow to ban people.
