The school changed how they are teaching it, I assume because people were doing all the multiplying before all the division when they are really the same thing. The actual rules did not change.

Was this a typo because I would say two of each is obviously better than one of each.

I fail to see the difference because of that last line. But trust me, order of operations is centuries old. It only gets changed when you need to add to it (like a derivative comes before parenthesis, but derivatives didn't exist until calculus)

They may be stepping away from "PEMDAS" because most people go too strictly on it. Multiplication and division are just different ways of writing the same thing. Same for addition and subtraction. So it works if you break it up as "P-E-MD-AS" and every time you are on one level of order of operations you run from left to right.

the two comes in if you multiply the two into the parenthesis before dividing. Since it was written vaguely I can't tell you what intent was on the problem. You normally wouldn't see the multiplication written like that in this context.

It is about positioning the last segment.

    48 ÷ 2 * (9+3) = 48 * 0.5 * 12 = 288

    48 ÷ (2 * (9+3)) = 48 ÷ 24 = 2

True order of operations makes it the top one, but depending on context you might need to use the bottom

I use AVISynth and VirtualDub. Also freeware. So yeah, I get it. I love em though, even if it is a royal pain to use.

My bad, though VideoPad is still lightweight enough most comments carry over. Definitely recommend it for being far more stable though (and mildly more advanced).

I would say Ansem #2 is the hardest for me. I got to him at level 34 proud but was level 42 before I beat him (though that was me being a bit careless with the level and I felt mildly over-leveled in the end) But about halfway through the battle he slides you back and rolls these giant black orbs at you. I still don't know how to deal with them. I could dodge a couple but after that the explosion effect took the whole screen and I couldn't see where I needed to be, occasionally dodging just long enough for it to clear and show me that I was screwed. I only passed when my defense and health were high enough to just absorb it.

    After that?

    Young Xehanort
    Ansem #1
    Xemnas
Hockomonkey (only because I was yet to have cure and I had two potions left to get both characters through)

Haven't fought Jullius yet but I'm sure he's going to push this list down a slot when I get that far.

HD is not a good thing for the most part. The game was only designed for 480p, and due to letter boxing during cut scenes that is actually 400p of "stuff" If you make that full 1080p then you're just making up 680 lines of pixels, so just looking at the vertical dimension having these videos in HD has more of it made up than was actually there to begin with, and that is just compounded on the horizontal side.

So tech rant aside, keep things at or near the size given.

As for the video, I'll admit that the begging seemed a bit forced to me. It looks like you were using WMM so there isn't much I can recommend to try and soften it up to match the tone. Perhaps making the clip fading a bit longer? Once the song picked up though I liked it a lot more, matched tone and lyrics wonderfully. My only CnC is the flashy transitions in WMM don't look all that good and I would just avoid them unless you really think you can make them do something cool. That being said you did use them sparingly and you used them a lot better than most. I might not even care here if the countless times I've seen them used badly didn't leave me with a bad taste.

Those summaries are long though. I like to read all the in game stuff in KH and even I went "screw it tl;dr" I might go back later to see if it sheds any new light on old events, but I didn't bother as I played.

Birth By Sleep definitely gets the most tie ins with the new stuff, so I would make sure you've got a good grasp of that game's plot. And for a couple of reasons through the game it might be cool to replay KH1, but nothing huge so I wouldn't sweat it.

Really more than feeling like you need to play other games before for the sake of this one, I really now want to replay the old games after having gained info from this game.

His health doesn't reset. Find him again and pick up where you left off. I had to fight him three times. First at La Cite des Cloches, but I was weak and only took off something like two bars. Then I fought him twice at Pranksters Paradise, though I did a ton of damage my second time so I only needed to do like a bar and a half on my third.

The "boss" one with a lot of health is Lord Kyroo. Sir Kyroo is a lesser one and his recipe is found in a chest of Prankster's Paradise as Riku.

Stopped enemies take the damage when it resumes. It's a mechanic that has always annoyed me, but they do in fact take damage.

I rather liked Dark Splicer but since you are vulnerable the whole time and can't be interrupted once it starts, it takes it's toll hard in certain situations. I held onto it stubbornly in a few boss fights but eventually chose to let it go because it was too risky, attacks would start after I began and kill me before I was done.

A lot of my favorites are Sora's.
Salvation was a nice house cleaner. Use it when HP is high, take the damage from the charge up and then heal it back. Unlike redhairedking I didn't notice significant vulnerability after the attack.
Sonic Blade and Ars Arcanum are nice powerhouses with generally less risk than Dark Splicer.
Sparkga and Spark Raid are glorious house cleaners, though you might want to combine Sparkga with something else like Zero Gravaza to make sure it lands properly.
Dark Firaga does some nice concentrated damage with homing and is done quickly so you're not vulnerable. Just remember to distance yourself a tad so that the fire to separate, otherwise it is a bit under a normal Firaga.

Well we could take our pick from the speculation of the 12 unknown members from above. Didn't work before but he makes it work now type deal. But more likely he will have to go from scratch again. Obviously raw speculation here, but I think he'll manage to get one of the seven guardians of light and Yen-Sid will come out of retirement to fill the gap. I wouldn't be surprised at another attempt on Sora or Riku (I know he said he gave up on Riku, but he still might). The only real requirement is exploitable darkness, and everyone has darkness except for the princess of light, so no exploiting Kairi. Well the Kairi thing is at least true in theory, MX's plots do tend to end up with batshit insane results.

The "real" Organization XIII as a whole is new. Though better wording could have been used.

Quick note the Dream eater is Lord Kyroo not Sir Kyroo, so that is the recipe to look for. And I think I got the drop bonus wrong before but info is a bit scarce. Do you have the Link Boost drop bonus?

Your right, I rewatched the scene and Young Xehanort never takes a throne, he was just in charge of gathering the 12 at the time of old Master Xehanort's return. So he's out.
