View attachment 47117 It's been a long time coming, but it's official: the long-coveted Mickey & Brooms medal will be coming to KHUχ! Hot on the heels of the announcement of the game's rebranding as Kingdom Hearts Union χ [cross], YouTuber EvangelKaltz caught up with Uχ's producer, Hironori Okayama, and the game's North American Operations producer, Steven Nguyen, at PAX East for an interview about the game. During the interview, Mickey & Brooms, long a sore spot for the global Uχ player base, was brought up. The short of it is that the medal will indeed be coming to the global version of the game! In addition, plans are underway to bring the global version's metagame up to par with the Japanese version. This is part of the team's goal of improving communication with the player base. View attachment 47116 For those not in the know, the Mickey & Brooms medal, when fused with any six-star medal, will add one orb towards the medal's Special Attack Bonus, making it a potent tool in any player's inventory. A new event has begun! Enter the serial code M2DESCENT to receive the Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y Mega Stones! The Beedrillite and Mawilite Mega Stones will be distributed to participants in the most recent Battle Competition beginning on March 7 via serial code, and then be made available to all players around the world in April. The next Battle Competition, the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble, has been announced. This competition will be single battle, using Pokémon exclusively from the Kanto and Alola Dexes (excluding Mewtwo, Mew, Zygarde, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, and any Mega Pokémon). Registration will last from March 9-16, and the battle period will follow from March 17-19. Players who participate in three or more battles will receive the Pidgeotite and Steelixite Mega Stones.

Chloe hadn't even had time to think of a swear word before a tidal wave of Heartless had slammed into her and everything had gone dark. Almost immediately, warmth poured over her, and she found herself lying on the cold, hard ground. So she was still alive; that was a relief. She felt pretty far from okay, though, so she summoned Glimpse of Darkness and cast a small Cure. Glittering green light cascaded down from her Keyblade, and Chloe felt some of her strength return. Not a perfect fix, but it would get her back in the fray, and that was all she needed right then. And just in time, too, it seemed: the rest of the Keyblade wielders were converging on Ria, pointing their Keyblades at them. Something tugged at Chloe’s memory—she wasn’t sure what. But without meaning to, she lifted her Keyblade with the rest of the group, light gathering at the tip as she pointed it at Ria. //Word count: 162 BP spent: 8 HP healed: 8 (Chloe) Chloe contributed to Guiding Light!
Sometimes you find a game, boot it up for the first time, and get blown away. But when you replay it, you can't quite recapture that feeling. Are there any games you've played that you want to play for the first time again? I wish I could play Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan for the first time again. I downloaded the free demo for it the day after I got my 2DS; I'd heard the series' name before and it looked kinda neat, but didn't know much of anything about it, so I decided I'd give it a whirl. (Besides, I needed a variety of games to entertain myself on an upcoming road trip.) I didn't expect to be so thoroughly blown away when I played it. The character customization, the music, the mapping, the dungeons, the MUSIC, everything was so perfectly executed and I fell in love. I plugged hours into the demo before I got my hands on the full version (thirteen, according to my Activity Log). I'm hoping Etrian Odyssey V gives me the same feeling...whenever it comes out...
