Gotham City was never asleep. Noises from outside the window of her apartment engulfed the four walls of her room. She simply laid on her bed with her super-suit on and stared up at her ceiling, while above all the noise, her radio transmitted news about what was going on around the city. She wore quite a blank expression, but it was obvious Nicky was at least slightly upset. Outside of her normal life, the city people knew her as Blaze. That fiery nineteen year old from the Justice League! Well, not just yet at least. She was recruited by Superman but she was still undergoing training. However, today, she was tasked with absolutely nothing - even though some of her other team mates were. That's what has been bothering her quite a bit, and the fact that no crimes have really caught her attention yet - or at least the radio was much too late about them. 'I may not be as quick or as skilled as the others. But I could have really helped today. What a bummer.' she thought of herself poorly. She really wanted to go out on the job today, she was ready! And she knew the city was ready for her. Indeed, the city was. Suddenly, Nicky heard a loud crash from outside of her window. She quickly leaped out of her bed and ran quickly to take a peek outside. Jackpot! A huge grin ran across her face as her eyes laid on a wrecked Batmobile and other things - including the villain, Doctor Light. This was her chance! Maybe they'd put her into a better place for missions. She quickly ran back into her room and put on her gloves. She made her way to the desk and shut off the radio, "You good for nothing radio. The city's already calling me and here you are lying around talking about other such things..." She gave the little device a small sigh then quickly ran out her door, closing it behind her and running as fast as she could to the crash site. She ran out her building and sped past the number of people who walked through the streets. She could already see the wreck from where she was at and increasingly covered the distance between herself and them. She smirked, "Time to heat this baby up."
Baby Sitting will commence in 6 hours . I'm excited c:
