I'm something of a metal head. Though I'm not that into music to really talk bands that often. And I really don't get genre distinctions, especially inside of metal I feel like there a crapton of different names over minor differences. But yeah I appreciate a good scream in my music, just so long as there is still a song there. I've stumbled across many songs I've had to wonder if was legit or someone making fun of metal in a loundness replaces talent type thing.
As explained in this thread a heartless power is not dependent on the strength of the heart that made it, but instead by the amount of darkness that heart contained. Since Sora's heart has very little darkness you get a shadow, the lowest class of heartless.
When you are importing files, just take them from the external drive. The drive does need to be connected the whole time though. Otherwise you get an error when it tries to load them. If you happen to be working on a part that doesn't need them you can ignore that and just trust they'll come back when you attach the drive again, but considering WMM isn't the most reliable I try not to push my luck.
You could also work with them directly on the External Drive
6.0 is in the older style like 2.x, though it is different enough to label it as a major version change. I can't make it work exactly the way you want since it designed to only display one name in those boxes and they decided at some point that only two lines should be allowed for that. This looks like a reasonable alternative though. Spoiler
Yeah, as far as WWM on 7 goes your choices are 2.6, 6.0, and Live. I personally go for 6.0 the few times I use it (I prefer not to use WMM at all, but I get that if you don't have the money for a good program or the tech know-how for the complex freeware you're kinda stuck)

I love XIII's plot and characters, I just wish there was more side quest type stuff going on throughout the game. As it stands there is effectively none until you reach chapter 10 (I think, might be a bit off). But it seems to me like people just have overly high expectations. Games are hyped to death before they ever hit shelves. I really don't think FF was ever as good as people expect the new games to be. Every single one I've played was broken in some why or another.
I understand some of the modern vs old school FF debate since the series has changed a lot of the years. But I feel like many people now expect perfect mind blowing games in the FF series, and while they're great they aren't THAT good. Also explains why a lot of the games increase in popularity after a couple of years. I've yet to play a FF game I disliked, although I had to let XII grow on me (still not a fan of the gambit system but that game is a real pain to play without it). VII is actually my least favorite so far. I haven't gotten into the Dirge of Cerberus or Crisis Core games but the main title just didn't hold up well; especially when you factor in all the hype VII has.
Not the best one to start out with. Unlike most people in the fan base I actually loved that game, but it is rather confusing and I can only think that skipping XIII isn't going to help that. Although you play as characters that weren't part of the first team so it might not be quite as bad as I think it would be.

If you are in the sub forum to read said sticky then you no longer need to be told what is going on in it, just look around. (and lets be honest, most of you skip past the stickies anyway) The issue is getting people into the other subforums to begin with.
