Cloud silently followed her. ******* The resistance base was in pathetic shape. It was located in an old run down ware house in the north sector of the Celestial Capital. Leon, their current leader looked at the Capital's strange skies. They looked as if they came straight from a paintbrush. "Leon!" Cid's voice called out. "Huh?" Leon turned around. "Sorry." Aerith sighed and said. "We're running low on supplies.....again. We need to go on another food run." "Huh....I'll go alone this time. Rememember what happened to Cloud?" Leon asked. "I try not to." Tifa said sternly from a corner. "Look. What happened happened. Ain't no point in denyin' it. And right now we need us some food." Cid said just as sternly. Leon looked at the skies one more time and started to head out.
"Oh god....please tell me I'm dreaming....please tell me that thing didn't follow me..." the jaguar statue mocked. ********* Jordan was angry as hell. He had just tripped over a whole park bench. That and he had no idea where this Stand user was currently hiding. He had to play it safe. Make his motions unpredictable. "I assume, that your Stand has a range?" Jordan asked. "Hmmm?" the statue replied. "My ability, Chamillionaire, can only attack a certain distance......So far. I assume that certain Stands have a range. Yours included." Jordan said. The statue offered no response for a while. "Have fun figuring that out." it said after a short while.
The jaguar statue seemed to stare at John. It may have even blinked it's eyes. ******* The statue that was left in sakuya's roomended up following her down the stairs. When she hit a wall a small bit of laughter came from it. ******* Jordan sighed and decided to walk and see if the jaguar statue was bluffing or not. Instead of alking forward, like he intended, he ended up walking backwards and tripping over the park bench he was sitting on minutes earlier. "This ain't gonna be easy." the statue laughed.
Jordan awoke to find a strange object sitting upon him. It seemed to be a fully posable mechanical jaguar. On each side of the jaguar the word 'cool' was written on it. Jordan, not knowing what else to do snatched the thing off of himself and wondered who the hell put it on him. Probably one of those damn kids. Jordan slowly go off of the park bench. He intended to to get up and start asking who was the owner of the statue but his body almost immediately started to lie down again. Strange. My body isn't obeying my commands at all. Could this be another one of those abilities? Jordan thought as he got up. "Heh, heh. Jordan Johnson!" a voice said. Jordan turned around to see the speaker. When he didn't see anyone he scratched his head and sighed. "Down here!" the voice said. Jordan turned around to see the jaguar statue speaking to him. "That's right. You're under the power of The Cool now. I suggest you be careful of what you're going to do next. It might have the opposite effect." The jaguar laughed. "Why are you attacking me?" Jordan growled. "Well, the way I see it. Stand user's are commiting these mysterious crimes throughout the city. I know a lot of people who are victims of these crimes, so I decided to find out the identities of those who are commiting them. You are one of my suspects." The jaguar said. "So what now?" Jordan asked calmly. He didn't know what the jaguar meant by Stand users, but he thought it might have something to do with his powers. "Now, I test you and a few others. Depending on the results I can decide if you're a criminal or not." the jaguar said. ".......That's your plan? You really didn't think this through." Jordan said. "If your powers involve me having to do something, then I'll just stand here and do nothing." "If that's the case, then I could always attack someone else. Your choice." The jaguar statue said. Jordan sighed and muttered "Gimme a break......"
"Probably lookin' for that bone he dug up." Xane laughed. Suddenly his face grew serious. "......Wing, can I ask you a question?"
Jordan took a rest on a park bench. He yawned and fell asleep. ***** Next to John when he awoke was a large, strange statue. I seemed to be a fully posable mechanical jaguar. On each side of the jaguar the word 'cool' was written on it.
OOC: More on the disturbing side.... BIC: The next day was a day off from school. Jordan decided to take a walk through the park. He saw a bunch of children throwing.....what appeared to be dung. He had seen stranger and decided to move on.
"Hojan." Cloud explained. "Hojan himself doesn't care for them, but Tul Raijin insists upon them." As Cloud spoke fireworks were exploding in the sky. On the crowded city streets, people were, eating, drinking, dancing, and playing. Several people in a dragon suit were parading around. Beggars were everywhere asking for money. "Home, sweet home." Cloud said.
Instead the statue suddenly tilted to the side, causing Sakuya to trip a bit.
"We won't have to worry much. A festival's going to start soon." Cloud explained.
Inside the box was a large, strange statue. I seemed to be a fully posable mechanical jaguar. On each side of the jaguar the word 'cool' was written on it.
"I've only seen two of them. They were new models. They do have a stealth mode. They could even be listening to us right now." Cloud said as if it wasn't a big deal.
Jordan returned the money to the school. He would've asked the thief more about these abilities that they seem to have developed, but he was too tired from running around to ask. ****** A soon as Sakuya got home a present was waiting for her. It was wrapped in a big red box.
"That's classified." Cloud frowned.
Apple pie.
"Not to mention that they seem to be damn near invincible now." Cloud continued.
Chamillionaire continued to punch the thief until he was unconcious. Jordan calmly took the money and started to run back to his school. Before he did he turned around and said "Don't commit any more crimes. If you do I won't go as easy on you next time." The thief coughrd up a bit of blood. "I think we're on the same page." Jordan commented before leaving.
Cloud smiled with the left half of his face. "The Maxilo's happened. New models. Deadly little scrap heaps." Cloud said.
"I won't interfere." Cloud said as he fully revealeed himself. THe entire right half of his body seemed to be a mechanical skeleton. His right eye was a bright blood red. "Let's get going."
"Is that so..?" Jordan laughed. "What's so funny?" the thief cried out sadistically as the Shadow Jordan started slashing at the real one. "Why the hell are you laughing?" "Becase, if I understand your ability correctly then you should be powerless in a few minutes." Jordan laughed. "In a few.....?" the thief questioned until the the sun disapeared into the night sky. As this happened Jordan's shadow was no longer visible and by extension, The Shadow Jordan. The thief realized what happened and started to run away. However, as he turned around to run his heart started beating faster and his lungs started pushing out more air than usual. It was strange. He had felt rested before, but now he seemed tired. "If you're feeling tired that's thanks to my power." Jordan said as what appeared to be a ghostly mummy appeared behind him. "Now you're going to pat for stealing that money. Chamillionaire!" Chamillionaire raised his bandaged arms and started to repeatedly punch the thief.
