Aaronville, New York. A place many people dream of going to. It's also a place many people would rather avoid. Recently there has been an investigation surrounding the disappearence of several business women in the surrounding area. Police have found no bodies and absolutely no clue as to what happened to these women. In addition to this mystery, the crime rate in the city has risen. The strange thing about these crimes is, no one can figure out how they could be pulled off. Money disappearing without a trace in the national bank. A man found dead on the street who was perfect health. A store being robbed while everyone inside of it was asleep.

Police have been going insane trying to figure out what's happening in the town. With the crime rate rising like this, Aaronville will probably soon be known as the most dangerous city in America. These strange events will coincide with the life of Jordan Johnson and several others. This is the begging of a bizarre adventure for each of them!

Stand FAQ: You must read this before signing up!

1. What is a Stand?

This is the concept of a "Stand" (a contraction of the phrase "one who stands by me") . According to Joseph Joestar, it is the manifestation of an individual's innate power over the "ripple" (hamon) and represents, to an extent, the individual's psyche. In fact, Joseph once referred to it in the manga as the "ghost ripple" (quite apt, as most of them take on humanoid forms and hover around the wielders like wraiths). Stands are usually sustained by breathing, and hover behind and above the user while usually being invisible to non-stand users. Most Stand Users can access the "senses" of their Stands, seeing and hearing whatever their Stands can.

To people without the power of the Stand, who normally cannot see them, the activities of the Stands are comparable to ghostly and poltergeist activity, and ESP. For example, if you take a gun and aims it to your head, and pull the trigger of the gun, your Stand's hands, depending on what type, may catch the bullet before it reaches your head. For the normal people around you, it would appear that the bullet is suspended in midair.

In general, only those with unusually strong spiritual power and determination (but not limited to human beings) can develop stands, as they are typically a reflection of the wielder's spirit. Stands can be developed hereditarily or artificially (through an ancient Bow and Arrow). Stands may appear humanoid or mechanical. they can have many powers ranging from elemental to more physical and intricate abilities (like controlling gravity, for example).

Although stands manifests from the wielder's psyche, some abilities cannot be controlled and may even restrict the wielder. Though most stands acts at the wielder's will, some stands are "automatic" and the wielders cannot keep track of their actions.

2. How do I name a stand?

It is interesting to note that the stands take on names of distinguished music artists, bands, and album titles. Most of them are progressive rock bands, as Araki himself is a fan of this music genre. Therefore take it upon yourself to name your stand after the artist, band, or album of your choice. The genre does not matter.

3. What are the weaknesses of a Stand?

Despite their power, Stands hold one drawback; any damage the Stand receives is transmitted to its user (i.e. if a Stand's leg were to be ripped off, the Stand's user will have his or her leg severed as well). This will serve as the way for defeating most of the encountered opponents throughout the RP, though some Stands are immune to this factor.


3. How do I develop my Stand's abilities and appearence.

As stated before your stand can appear to be humanoid, and a mechanical humanoid. You are not limited to these as your stand can also be an animal, a weapon, a strange ability, something that's part of your body. You can even a have an miniature army or a car for a stand. Anythings possible.

Your abilities can variate. I suggest creating your own Stands, but I do haves some examples on different Stand abilities: Fast movement, high power, stops time, can extend pointer finger. Psychic powers, can transmit Hamon ripples, uses vines to extend reach or grab an object. Manipulates fire. Can extend body parts, grapple an object, possess human minds and shoot emeralds. A handgun through which Hol can control the movements of its bullets. Inserts a murderous parasite in its victim via blood that grows steadily. Made of sand. Can shapeshift and fly. Stops time, high speed and power, limited psychic powers. Steals victims' souls by defeating them in gambling, grants superhuman sense of touch. An army of toy soldiers, tanks, etc.

I will not be on all of the time, therefore I can't always move plot. feel free to add your own villains, intrigue and other details to the plot if I am not present.

Backstory

I do not require you to flesh out your backstories here. I feel that your stories don't really start until the RP starts.

Prologue

Jordan Johnson could feel it. It was going to be one of those days. Those type of days where everything feels right and ends up going wrong....or bizarre. Jordan Joestar had many of those days. Such as the time he asked about the whereabouts of his father to his mother and received no straight answer. The worst of these days being that his girlfriend went missing just a week ago. Was that one of those strange crimes? And whoe else was a victim of these strange crimes. Jordan was determined to find out. And thus began a bizarre adventure.
