Nuu! Do not eat mah butt! D8
Least then it won't defrost XD
*you're <_< >_> Demi. Is. So. Cold. My butt may literally freeze off D8
Lake opened her mouth to speak again, but no words came out. Just a quiet, high pitched, pitiful noise that would make even the most cold man's heart ache in sorrow for her.
"D-D-Don't ge-ge-get m-ma-mad a-at th-them..." Lake forced herself to stammer through the sobs and shakes. Tears were still rolling down her eyeliner and tear stained cheeks. "I-I-It's no-not the-their f-f-fault..." She mumbled, stumbling over every single word without fail.
At that moment Lake's hand grabbed hold of his wrist. Her palms were sweaty and she was shaking still.
"You should care Mickey, you could of blown our cover here." Casey sighed, trying his best not to sound like he was scolding the boy.
"Oh that's not good." Casey said, his eyes widening.
"I thought so..." Casey muttered.
"Trying to do what...?" Casey asked apprehensively, although he felt he knew the answer. Lake wasn't an unattractive girl, and she looked weak and fragile. The perfect target for many.
OOC- It's fine XD I have a bad habit of leaving it too long to reply anyway XD The change in location didn't seem to bother Lake too much, she carried on crying. "Well, know you're inside, do you mind explaining what's happened?"
OOC- Lucky D8 Lake quickly fell onto the floor, collapsed into a sobbing mess.
OOC- I know D8 Casey quickly stepped to one side, years of growing up around grumpy women had taught him to know when talking was a good idea and when it wasn't.
OOC- What's worse is when I have a free period first, that just takes the p*ss DX Lake held tightly onto Mickey, still shaking. "Lyra!" Casey called back into the house. "You might want to come out here!" He said, walking out onto the driveway to take a closer look at what happened.
OOC- I have to get a public bus thingy and then walk to school. I get there by 8am, school starts at 9am DX It's really annoying, and cold ._. "Good." Casey said, heading quickly to the door way and swinging it open for the returning teens. She attempted to slow her breathing down, to take bigger breaths. But all that happened was she choked on her tears.
OOC- Same here, getting up at 6am ftl >< "I really hope so." Casey agreed. She continued to cry and sob, her breath heavy and she was starting to struggle for air.
OOC- It's fine, I'm trying to do homework anyway XD Lake just wanted to get... home... She'd never thought of anywhere as home before, and now that was all she could think of. She wanted to be home. "They should be back soon."
Lake sobbed heavily as the question prompted memories of the situation to resurface. What make up she had been wearing was now streaked down her face, she was indeed a sorry sight. "Whatever it is, it'll be sorted out. Don't worry." Casey said, trying to sound supportive.
OOC- It's fine ^^ "Good, the not knowing is killing me." Casey muttered as he took another swig from his water cup. He drummed his fingers against the door frame he was leaning against as he tried to stop thinking of all the various different worst-case-scenarios. Lake was unceremoniously 'helped' into the car, although she was too distraught to notice any of the various indignities she may or may not of been put through. Tears carried on streaming down her face and pathetic whimpers coming from her lips.
"So he should be arriving there any minute now?" Lake felt herskinny, and now bruised, legs give way beneath her, the terror so all consuming that even her ability to stand up was practically gone.
