"I guess it's just a little vice of your's I'll have to live with." Casey chuckled, leaning down slightly and kissing her forehead. "It's because the Potter's are stupid and can't come up with new names dear. That's why they had to merge with the Malfoys, needed some intelligence in the gene-pool." Elle smiled sweetly, looking up at her husband. "Oh!" Lake exclaimed as she was unsuspectingly pulled from her sleepy state. She lost what little balance she'd managed to gain and fell straight at Mickey. Quickly she grabbed hold of him, gripping him in a hug around his waist as she continued to fall.
"You're just ******ed." Elle grinned cheekily. "Like several of your Potter relatives." "You're too kind Ly." Casey chuckled softly. Lake nodded slightly, slumping down slightly.
Lake smiled slightly once again and blinked her eyes blearily. She was becoming very sleepy very quickly. Casey chuckled slightly as he gently brushed her hair with his hand. "Let's just hope Mickey can be as quick to support her as he is to defend her." "Who's fault is it then? I'm not exactly stupid, and neither's your Dad." She snorted.
"S-Sorry..." Lake mumbled through her tears. Casey wandered over and hugged her, he always did whenever Zane came up in conversation. Just the thought of what she must of gone through and how Casey hadn't been able to help made his heart ache and stomach churn. "Yeah, despite what he did it got the job done..." "Doesn't take much to give you a headache though." Elle cackled as she wandered into the room, a dishcloth in one hand and a plate in the other.
Shyly Lake looked over at him and smiled weakly. She managed to keep this smile for a few seconds, only for her to collapse back into a sobbing mess straight after. "You think Lake's going to be okay...?" Casey asked after a moment, he'd grown attached to Lake. She was like another daughter to him. "It's not..." Jamei sighed.
Lake sat down on the floor, hugging her knees close to her. She was fighting back more tears, but at least now her make up wouldn't run. However, the price for that was Mickey seeing her without make up; seeing every little imperfection. "Good." Casey nodded. "But if he gets it too bad I say we step in, like if it starts effecting others badly too." Jamei's posture dropped and her eyes shut. Then in a quieter tone she replied: "I'm not certain as of yet..."
After a moment a small red blush went across her face and she nodded. "Please...?" She replied weakly. "I think we shouldn't tidy up after him this time, that could be his punishment." Casey said thoughtfully. "Showing what being an adult really is." "Events have been triggered tonight, there's no stopping them." Jamei continued, her white eyes flickering as though she was seeing something that wasn't there.
"I don't think he'd pay much attention to it and he'd just through a wobbely." Casey sighed. Lake shook her head and gave a shuddering sigh. "Wh-Where's M-Mickey...?" She asked quietly. "Things are going to get a lot worse very quickly..." Jamei said in her usual enigmatic monotone.

"Sure you're sure?" He asked once again. "Okay..." Lake mumbled as she stepped into Mickey's room. As she waited for someone else to arrive she looked around the room, resisting the urge to poke around and find out more about the blonde she was so unknowingly infatuated with. "Just friends my pale white arse!" Nate laughed loudly, earning a smack around the head from his eldest sister whom was sat beside him.
At the same time Maddie left Mickey's room Lake left the bathroom, the hood pulled up over her now matted curls and a damp tissue in her hand that she was using to wipe what little make up was now left on her face. "You sure?" Casey continued. "With who then?" Nate asked, looking back at his brother over the back of the sofa.
Lake headed into the bathroom and closed the door. Slowly she changed into her 'pyjamas', it was strange that even though these hadn't been Mickey's clothes for such a long time yet she could smell him in the cotton. "You all right there Ly?" Casey asked, leaning against the kitchen counter.
Lake took the clothes from her silently and nodded. Casey sighed and followed after Lyra, she's was mad and he knew it. But hopefully he could defuse the situation before she blew up at one of the kids.

She hiccuped quietly and wiped her face. After a moment she looked at the mess of make up on her hand with disgust and looked away and to the floor.

Lake nodded slowly and pulled herself off of the sofa, her legs shook under her weight slightly.
Lake nodded slightly, right now she wanted anything to dull the fear and humilliation.
