Sephiroth was awestruck by everything that had just transpired, one minute looking like the end of him, to this man offering him the keys to controlling his destiny. He grabbed the man's hand and nodded, "I'll go with you. It would appear destiny has brought us together, let us see this fate you speak of." ~ Grell moved leapt out of the way of the Metal Wolf as it landed on the Cradle, leaving a large dent that will have to be buffed out later. "HEY, watch out where you're landing!" William was standing near the railing as Grell got to his feet, "The nerve of some people, eh Will?<3" "Indeed. Your realize it's over Sutcliff, the world is safe for now. We're going back." "But Will! What about all these people, I can't just leave. my public demands that I stay!" William looked over at Ciel, Sebastian and Saix who were standing togther, shaking their heads vigorously. "Yeah no, we're out of here." William began dragging Grell through a portal back to the Reaper's realm. "NOOO, SEBBY!! I'LL COME BACK FOR YOU!!!!" They vanished from sight as the three sighed in relief, William no doubt already trying to get back to work, Grell plotting to return later on. Sebastian looked the most relived, "Well that's that master, the world is saved. What are we going to do now?" Ciel looked up into the sky, "Pray Marluxia fell into that black hole.." "Amen to that." Saix said coldly. ~ Inside the Cradle Mustang, Melvin and Mizore looked around. "So what do?" The litte girl asked, Melvin put his arm around her very creepily, "My dear sweet child, we're having what you'd call contractually obligated screen time. That means we get to have some unneeded dialogue about what we're going to do next because we might not return in the second arc." "MELVIN, stop feeding the kid's head with lies." Mustang sighed and looked out the window, wondering where Hawkeye was. "Hawkeye, if only you could hear me right now. Riz-" Hawkeye appeared in the window seated in Black Widow's Helicopter, "Sup bro." "No, not you! Riza.." "Oh well..that's cool. Glad to know people care about me." He looked over at Natasha, cocking his eyebrows up and down. ~ Up on the Helicarrier Fury wiped some sweat off his brow and looked up at the sky. "Another crisis averted, good work Avengers. Now I've got some pinheads to do some explaining to." He began walking toward the bridge, "Hey Strak, you wouldn't mind fixing the hole in the carrier would you? Great." He entered the elevator back into the ship. ~ Back down the island Bushy's barrier began to fade away with the battle over with. Scar and Hades exchanged a nod, "Well I got some dead people to meet with Scar ol' pal, see you on the flip side maybe. If you're ever in need give me call, I'm sure Maleficent will be barking up my doorstep later. I'll come to the villain meetings only for the free food and laughs." Scar acknowledged Hades departure, then glanced up into the sky, "It's done then, guess I can head back to Pride Rock. You know if I could get off this island and whatnot.." Just then Kaiba's ship landed on the island, "Gotta stop falling asleep at the wheel. Glad to see you're not dead Scar, not sure why, but I am." Scar ran past Kaiba into the ship, "Good to see you too, now get me off this godforsaken spit of land." "...Come on in." Kaiba rolled his eyes and entered the ship, preparing to activate the thrusters.

~The End is Nigh~ Cloud charged at Sephiroth like a bullet, slashing him with such speed that it didn't look like the Fallen Angel couldn't respond. Yet swords sounded like they were being bashed against one another. "Fool me once-" Sephiroth had summoned his Masamune and met every one of Cloud's slashes. At the end of the attack, once Cloud thought he'd defeated Sephiroth for the third time, a sword periced through his chest. "Come now, haven't you learned that the same move doesn't work twice?" Sephiroth tossed Cloud high into the sky, then he dismissed his sword and flew up after him. He swiped his wing across Cloud's body, injuring him further and sending him higher and higher into the sky. "You see?! It is you who will become the memory Cloud, just like the rest of your friends!" Sephiroth flew ahead of Cloud and conjured a fireball in his hand, blasting the inferno at the motionless Cloud. The fireball grew in size as it descended down toward him, eventually consuming him and exploding. "Burn." Clouds lifeless body shot down from the sky, on fire, careering toward the ocean. Sephiroth laughed as his foe splashed into the water and disappeared from sight. "You see?! This is your fate, the fate of this world has been sealed. No more discussion, no more playing around. It's over." The self proclaimed god flew up past the clouds, out of the Earth's atmosphere and raised his hand. "THIS IS IT! Your world is finished, I cast my judgment upon all of you!" ~ Down below on the Helicarrier Fury had brought up view screen to see what Sephiroth was doing in space. He was then informed that Stark had finished repairs on the weapon, also that another space station was about to crash into the planet. "Stupid ass aliens and their inability to drive. Aim Weapon Tesseract, we're sending them to where the sun don't shine." An enormous cannon came up out of the ship and aimed toward Sephiroth. "Fire on my command." Below the Helicarrier the Titans were being attack from all directions by the heros, hammered, bashed, electrocuted, and liquified the two behemoths rammed into each other. The Ice Titan, Hydros, began to crawl out of the hole in the ocean as the other two Titans fell backwards down into the hole. "THAT'S....COLD." The Titans smashed him back inside the hole as they all rived in pain beneath the ocean. All that was left was for Thor to close the cage like Zeus before, leaving the Titans locked away for another millennium or two. ~ Back in space Sephiroth had finished charging, he lifted his hand above his head and began to monolog, "You fools spurned my rule, I could have lifted your civilizations past Olympus, as your god! Instead you reject me, you attempt to kill me! So I shall cast my judgment upon you by destroying your precious home, by destroying your entire solar system! BY EVEN DESTROYING PLUTO!" Sephiroth began to glow as he outstretched his wings and began to summon the end of the world, a comet that would blow up the sun and destroy life as the world knew it, if he's in a good mood he might even do it 6 to 8 times. "YA SEE THIS MAW!!! SUPER NOV-" Spoiler Sephiroth, who had become completely oblivious to his surroundings due to his maddened state, was thwacked in the back of the head by the Death Star. "Huh...you'd think I'd notice something that big hurdling toward me.." He said to himself as he was pressed up against the side of the station. Down on the Helicarrier Fury looked at the screen dumbfounded, but okay with what just happened. "Two birds with one stone as it were, FIRE." The Tesseract cannon fired off a blue stream of energy up past the clouds into space, opening an enormous portal to a Black Hole. "I will never.. ..be....... a memo- OH SHIT" Sephiroth was cast into the portal with the Death Star following in after him. In the upper levels of the station Grievous battle with AUTO was cut short when Orphan was destroyed, cutting the autopilots power, "MUUUStT....FOOOLLOW...DIREECTIIVEee." GLaDOS could already see what was happening outside as Grievous began to float with the gravity turned off, "PULL ME OUT, PULL ME OUT!" Grievous yanked GLaDOS out of the port and began crawling over the ceiling. "Did you find us a ship?!" "Yes, turn here into this hanger. Your ship should be floating around somewhere." Grevious crawled into the hanger and found his ship, propelling himself across the room by kick himself off the wall. He grabbed ahold of the ship and opened the latch as the Death Star began falling into the portal. "We're outta here!" The General activated the thrusters and the ship shot out of the station, he then activated the hyperdrive and sped off into space. Their destination most likely Coruscant, where they'd be looking for new leadership for the Empire. Meanwhile the Death Star had almost fallen all the way into the portal, as it went through being ripped to pieces by the Black Hole. Sephiroth was hanging on to anything he could for dear life, trying to avoid the inevitability of being cast into the vortex.
Ichigo and Nove's deflection of the blast into the Helicarrier's deck caused Fury to whack Ichigo across the head with his Bazooka, "STOP BLOWIN HOLES IN MY SHIP!" He pulled out his com link to Hill and Coulson, "Damage report, stat." "There is a large hole in the ship, sir." There was a brief pause, then Hill spoke up, "Condition is stable Director, but the weapon has been damaged. You'll have to get Mr. Stark to fix it." "Damn, I'll get on it. We've got friendly combatants giving us aid for the moment, Fury out." The Director changed channels to Iron Man, Hawkeye and Black Widow. "Avengers, the weapon has been damaged, if we're going to stop this fallen Angel I need Stark up here now. Barton, Natasha, cover him." Down in the Helicopter Hawkeye nodded, "Got it Fury." He looked over at Natasha, "You heard him, let's get a move on!" Up on the damaged deck, Sephiroth smirked at Cloud's sudden appearance, "Oh that's cute, you want to be the hero. Play time is over Cloud, your day of reckoning has come and gone. Now, it's my time." Sephiroth dismissed Clouds fireballs by firing his own Shadow Flares at them, but then Cloud was upon him, bringing his buster sword down on him. Sephiroth crossed his wing with Cloud's sword and knocked him down, only to have the ground erupt in an explosion afterwards. He brushed himself off as Cloud stood with the others, "That's all? My turn then." Sephiroth burst across the deck at high speed and slashed his wing into the ground, throwing everyone back and damaging the deck further. ~ Down below the action on the Helicarrier, Pyros was hit with an enormous lightening blot by Thor, causing the Titans to explode into a heap of magma. "CAN'T...PUT ME OUT...SO EASILY." The Titan rose from the magma unharmed, behind him the two-headed Rock Titan, Lythos, emerged out of the the hole in ground. "DESTROY ZEUS!" Hades poofed onto the behemoths shoulder, "Yeah you're not out to destroy Zeus ol' chum, see the rest of the mooks running about? Take a crack at them." Hades poofed back to his beach chair and resumed spectating. ~ Inside the Death Star, down in the center of the station, AUTO had been watching the previous battle the heros were having with Dysely, then Orphan. "Directive will be followed sir." The AI spun it's wheel as the Space Station increased in speed once again, now barreling toward the Earth at it's highest cruising speed. Many levels above, Grievous was running down the hallways with GLaDOS in potato tow. "Have you found a suitable ship yet?" The General happened upon another docking bay with all of the ships destroyed by the maddened troopers. "Still working on it.." "We don't have time for this, hook me into the wall, I'll see if I can locate a suitable vessel for our escape." Grievous did so and GLaDOS scanned the station for the nearest flyable space ship, in doing so AUTO was altered to her presence in the mainframe again. He appeared in the hallway with the two in a matter of moments, "This ship will not be stopped." He ignited one of his lightsabers and began charging at Grievous, "We're not trying to stop the ship! We're trying to get the hell of it!" The General met the AI's saber with his own, "For the Captain's plan to work living specimens must be present, I cannot allow you to leave." GLaDOS yelled from her the port she was plugged into, "So I can leave right?" "Be my guest, just run on ahead." "How heartless do you think I am, I'd never leave you, Grievous. Darling. That has nothing to do with the fact I'M A POTATO." "Uh-hu."
Oi guys, I see lots of plot has happened on the Death Star. Very nice. I've got some work to finish this week along with my birthday, so I'll be on at random times for awhile. If you need anything let me know~ The AMV is still in progress, I'll probably release it when the arc is over with. Other than that carry on, I'll read over this thread tomorrow and update the cast list.
Down on the island Scar was laid out on the ground with his paws over his head, it was after Bushy had made the protective field and vanished that he opened on of his eyes, "Oh good, we're not dead." He looked above at the meteors exploding on impact with the barrier around the island. "Marvelous. Now if only I could do somthing-" Hades was relaxed in the beach chair with a straw hat and sunglasses on, drinking something with small umbrella in it. Then his hat caught on fire due to his hair, "Scar, reeeelax. This is for the heros to deal with, they'll save the world and all that yadda yadda. It's our job to screw it back up after they're done." "I know that, it's what I was about to say. My plans to become king of the world, or at least all of Africa, have been stifled by this conflict. I'm starting to loose my edge." "That can happen when you've been out of the game too long." Spoiler: Dun-nu A women's voice was heard with no point of origin, until a small green orb of light started to float around Scar, "Bloody hell, Bushy didn't install a bug killer." The orb smashed into the ground and a fire erupted as a devilish looking woman appeared out of it. "I'm not a bug you impudent fool. It is I, Maleficent, The Mistress of All Evil!" Scar stuck his finger to his mouth and pondered a moment, "OH- Yes, I remember you. You're the one who sent the out of shape lion to assist me in taking over the Pride Lands. Pete, that imbecile..what did you do with him?" "You know spinning wheels and their tendency to get chucked at people." "I see. Grand, one less pain to worry about. Next question, why are you here?" Maleficent smiled and bashed her scepter on the ground, causing a haze to form in which an image appeared to Scar. "Another alliance my dear friend. Soon the door will be opened, a new world will be unlocked. It is there that we shall rein supreme." "Rein supreme, this is good." "Quite, it will be all for the taking. Our time is close at hand, I must make haste for now, but I shall return when the time is right." The haze cleared as she looked up at Hades and Jafar, "You two will also be welcome to join me again." Hades discarded his charred hat, "I'll think about it, our last ploy ended up with me being flushed down a vat of dead people." "The offer is always valid, but for now I bid you all farewell." Maleficent lifted her arms and disappeared as the greens flames engulfed her. ~ Back up in the sky Sephiroth's barrier had been keeping him protected from most of the attacks sent his way, he was about to attack the Helicarrier with another Pale Horse spell when he was struck in the back by a charing kick. "Wha-" Sephiroth was hit unprepared and spiraled down toward the ocean, but instead crashed onto the deck of the Helicarrier. He flapped his wings and attempted to become aware of his surroundings, eventually meeting Nick Fury's..eye, "I am tired of the muthaf***in gods, on my muthaf***in ship." The director shot off his bazooka and hit Sephiroth, who hadn't fully restored his barrier in the daze, square in the chest. He shouted something unintelligible as he rived in pain near the end of the deck, "You worthless fools spurn my judgment, I offer you paradise!" He regained his composure and charged the blue aura in his hand again, shooting it off across the deck at Fury and Rogers.

Any battle with Sephiroth ever. Safer in FF7 isn't the hardest boss ever, but all that leads up to that and then having him just floating their blowing up the sun a bajillion times is nerve racking. Then dear lord...the fight afterwards about made me faint because I thought my almost dead Cloud was going to have to face him gain alone.
