When the magical country of Erio declares war on their neighboring countries of Amittai and Kallahi all hell breaks loose. Amittai the country of medieval styles; Kallahi, the country of the future and Erio, the magic country. Each boasting their own prowess.

Erio, the country of magic, discovered an energy source called Magic Energy. Utilizing this energy into daily like, Erio became a magic energy country. Combining it with stolen technology from Kallahi, they created what is known as the Magic Industrial Revolution. The Magic Industrial Revolution changed the way Erio did and viewed things. Their war machines now consisted of a Raising Pillar, a station of pure magic energy controlled by four or five mages, and their primary army. Erio’s capital city, Kalm, has recently come down from a monarchy and now has a stable republic as their government. Erio’s late King ordered the construction of something called Ulta-Staff a place where magic energy was drawn from the planet and condensed into sheer magic force. It was their proudest achievement, until the monarchy fell and the new rulers in the republic ordered its construction halted until further notice without reason. Several of the citizens protest daily for the restoration of the monarchy and the further development of Ulta-Staff. To keep uproars to a minimum, Erio’s government created a special task force called the Vanguard to keep protests of their developments and those who want the monarchy restored down. When the current ruler in the republic falls ill, he leaves his High Priest in charge of his country.

Kallahi, the country of science, pushed all their top researchers into figuring out the Planet and how things worked in the universe. With immense knowledge gained from two of their researchers named Dr. Cooke Crescent and Dr. Max Crescent. Twin brother and sister. They spear-headed the project they called Project G. Whatever it stood for and what they were looking for, remains a mystery. Kallahi used the technology the Crescent doctors created to benefit their country. The air is dominated by their airships, the ground by transits and cabs and their weaponry for war based on pure might. War against a magic country did not bode well, and so they created Anti-Magic weapons of all sorts. As for religion and leadership, it falls to their Primarch. A ruler of both religious proportions and of their military might. Under orders of the Primarch, the Crescent doctors began creation of their own form of magic. Small orbs of different colors were implanted into weapons and sometimes people. They have not yet founded a name for this creation yet as it is still in a beta phase of testing.

Amittai, the country of the old ways, chose to live a solitary lifestyle and remain neutral in the wars between Erio and Kallahi, by remaining a separate entity themselves. They hold no desire for the Planet’s power or the technology of Kallahi’s scientists, but simply long for the peace and prosperity they once knew. With magic energy polluting the air and the chemicals of the inventions from Kallahi tainting the land, Amittai has not seen a bountiful harvest since the first hundred years. Their ways are old, but they have perfected them. Armies of soldiers bearing swords, axes, daggers and spears and archers to back them on horseback. They have the most skilled intelligence network out of all the countries, as their spies are experts in their areas. Lately Amittai was forced into a small war with Erio, demolishing half of their capital on grounds that they aided Kallahi in kidnapping their High Priest to keep their beloved country in the slums.

Factions:

Erio – Mages are used and Warrior mages, anything that can use magic.
White Mage: Uses magic energy for healing and has a few offensive spells.
Black Mage: Uses magic energy for destruction.
Spirit Mage: Uses magic energy as a support and has a few offensive and defensive spells. Spirit Mages also have the option of fighting with their bare fists and a small shield.
Composite Mage: A combination of white and black magic. The spells are wider in range and power but take longer to cast.
Magic Swordsman: A person who uses a weapon other than a staff and can use magic energy in various but limited forms and power levels.

Kallahi – Weapons from the future are used with the enhancements of bits and pieces of beta testing magic.
Infantry: Uses various types of guns in combat, usually doesn’t have beta testing magic implants.
Beta Gaia: A faction of the army with magic implants in their body instead of their weapons. Due to faulty results, some members have gained or rather been cursed with an ability to transform into a beastial form.
Beta Geo: A faction of the army with magic implants in weapons. These soldiers are barely any different than Infantry, save for they have magic projectiles fueled by a small crystal orb inside their weapon of choice.

Amittai – Medieval weaponry.
Archers
Wielders of Steel: swords, axes, spears, lances, etc.
Dragoon (Dragon Knight): Knights specialized in aerial attacks with a lance or spear.

Rules:
1. Follow the normal roleplaying section’s rules
2. Keep violence, cursing and romance to PG-13
3. No godmodding, powerplaying, whatever else you want to call it.
4. Please, no one liners…I know it often gets difficult, but things can turn into five lines with a bit of detail.
5. No killing another person’s character without theirs and my permission.
6. I encourage romance, but PLEASE do not go overboard. That's what PMs are for (only use if you are that desperate XD)
7. If you don’t post in 3 or more days without prior notification, I will kill your character off.
8. Any complaints please PM me.
9. Max of 3 OC’s per person, if you wish to have more, PM me and we’ll discuss it.

Bio: Crimson was one of the many who were subjects to Project G. He doesn’t know why the form he takes on when he enters into a rage is a bear, all he says he needs to know is that it’s hard to control and those that make him that way deserve to die. Crimson was given his name by Dr. Cooke Crescent. After he woke up from the surgery, he couldn’t remember his name or his past. His knowledge on the kidnapping is small and what he has to say about it is even smaller.

Bio: Mikatsu is often mistook for someone from Kallahi, until she starts to cast spells. Orphaned as a child, Mikatsu recoiled inside herself and relies on her magic to keep her safe instead of friends or family. Only a few orphaned children in Erio recognize her as their “elder sister†and welcome her with smiles.
Other: Mikatsu is one of those who wishes for the monarchy to be restored.

Bio: Lief’s mother was taken by Kallahi’s army and experimented on to the brink of madness. His father pursued her until he was killed on the battlefield. Before leaving, he taught his son all he knew of the ways of the sword and reminded Lief to act with honor and not to tarnish their family honor.
Other: Lief pursues the High Priest for the reward money offered in Erio, Kallahi, and even his home to build a shrine for his mother and father.
