Down the stairs, and around a muddy corner, the space widened to what appeared to be the inside of a large warehouse. The twins hadn't lied, simple not specified. A man sat huddled in a corner, eventually chains jingled as he fell over, his head falling underneath a single lightbulb. He looked deprived of everything; food, water, sunlight, fresh air...and now he was dead. Lazard crouched behind his desk, stuffing papers into a briefcase frantically.
Alice barely gave him notice. Her wings gently lifted and settled in periodic rounds. She turned her head slightly, her eyes hazy and dull, "You're back." The boy materialized beside Auran, his clothes were normal and baggy, "Lady Nova ley Britannia sent me. I am Souichirou Terubayashi." he pulled a gun from the inside of his jacket and aimed it at Alice, "Alice can't die while Mithos is within her. These bullets are tranquilizers. If you would, young man, please tire her out so I can get a clear shot." Nova slumped to the ground, letting golden water drip from her fingers, "Indeed he is.... Mithos is a Warrior God. A long time ago, he fought with three other friends to end a war in Lladranna and Britannia. Which explains our name...Alice vie Britannia...Nova ley Britannia...we would be the new heads of Britannia's republic if the war hadn't been stopped. Lladranna became our home and now...look at what has befallen the great Queens of Britannia..." Genesis came back, sauntering like he'd just won some popularity contest, "All is calm for the moment, Nova. My summoned creature should handle any that remain."
Nova shrugged, hiding her smile, "If that's what you believe. At the moment, she isn't Alice. Hmm...I believe the Goddess' name was...Mithos...oh! Whoops...not really a 'Goddess' is he...more of a God...err....my mistake..." She snapped her fingers and a boy materialized beside her out of black smoke. "Souichirou, back Auran up. Genesis is busy with the copies. Mithos won't go easy on him. For his freedom, he'll do anything." The boy had long black hair and equally dark eyes. He looked like a gentle sort. Sou nodded and disappeared. "As you wish, my lady. No harm shall come to Lady Alice vie Britannia of Lladranna."
The Seraphim emerged into the back courtyard. Yves' hand still on Tori's back and his hood still down, he let a small smile play on his lips. Kiel shrugged, "It doesn't matter, it won't hurt me." he looked up into the sky, "It's only water." his tone was almost reminiscent but his expression revealed nothing. The creature hissed out a laugh and slowly slithered it's way out of the fire, climbing into a tree, "Would you believe that those you serve are truly the evil forces at work here? No? Then we shall see who is truly evil among the group of so-called pure angels." It disappeared, heading towards the group beside the school. Each Seraphim kept their hoods down as they approached the students. Summer and High Courts bearing smiles for them and Dark and Winter cold and grim expressions. Uriel greeted them individually and noticed Amittai wouldn't let Tori leave his side. "Thank you for coming Seraphim. We're honored you could come on such a day. I apologize for the weather." Enan grunted, "It matters not. I'd prefer it to be snowing, but that will come soon enough. I trust the Frost Festival is still going to be held?" Uriel nodded and grinned, addressing her student body, "Students, staff...please welcome the Seraphim of the Courts who have taken today out of their busy moments between Heaven and Earth to visit our school and bestow their individual powers upon few chosen students."
Amittai The soldier with the gun fell, dead to the ground, and King Elstelz rammed the hilt of the sword into another soldier's helmet and through another's on the pull back of his swing. "Protect the wounded! Defend Amittai!" he shouted and the remaining knights piled into the fray with the so-called Erian soldiers. Lief felt the bullet fly through him and the intense burning sensation overcame him. Shot by an Erian soldier? Erios didn't use guns at all. They considered them foul things...only magic and swords were their weapons of choice. Erios Ciel turned and glared at Shane, "No one's asking you, soldier! Children aren't allowed on the battlefield! Not in my lifetime!" He felt his anger taking hold of him and his voice reverberated with rage. He glared down at the twins, though his blue eyes were gentle for their sake, "Go back into the city and stay there. I'm sure someone will look after you." Mikatsu blinked twice to come out of her trance and stared up at the sky. She overheard Fiona asking people about Amittai. A small smile tweaked her lips and she pulled her red cloak up over her white hair, "Amittai is falsely accused of assisting Kallahi in the capture of our High Priest. Currently, though it's been announced that we're attacking...soldiers are already there... Whether they are Erian or not, no one knows...if you wish to know... Finding General Kakanas would be best. But it seems he's not here either...strange." she spoke aloud, though not really facing Fiona. Instead she faced the direction of Amittai. Kallahi Crimson snorted and led the way down from the level the Crescent doctors held as their home and office and into the basement to find their Beta Gaia Commander, a large man who oversaw what Cooke and Max wanted them to be trained in. "Crimson of Beta Gaia Unit Two reporting, SIR! Requesting permission to be allowed to accompany those who will be going to prove our country innocent of crimes, SIR!" He kept his eyes forward and heels together, just as taught. Though Advent, he thought, hadn't been given a Unit number since he was with the doctors so much instead of combat. The Commander glared down at Crimson and Advent with dark brown lupine eyes and nodded curtly, "I suppose Advent wants to go as well. Very well, Advent, if Dr. Crescent says it's alright, you're free to accompany Crimson."
The rock Mya kicked bounced off several walls and other larger stones before dropping down what seemed to be the floor and...kept falling. It clanged on the bottom of what sounded to be a metal floor after a ways down. Hikaru and Kaoru glanced up to the third level of the department store and nodded to one of their subordinates. "Pretty soon, Lynne, and you'll be a free girl again. Unless...Lazard decides to contact your friends again with someone else and demand a ransom? What do you think Hikaru?" "It's not going to happen, Kaoru. There's no way Lazard would take money from people like the Runners. Not when he wants revenge. This isn't a kidnapping...it's premeditated murder." Lynne held her breath and dipped her zip-tied hands into the fountain water. I have one shot...one shot to slip out of these, knock these two idiots out and get the bloody hell outta here.
Nova watched Gexln carefully, "Are you not going with him? Alice is a formidable enemy now...getting her here will be quite a challenge. But I see you have taken a liking to Genesis. He is not one to be taken lightly." Alice's glazed eyes stared into the fountain and down at Moth's unconscious body. She didn't know who this child was, in fact she barely knew who Docyx was. "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy, all for the love of you..." she sang softly to herself as she bent to pick up Moth.
Yves set a hand on Tori's shoulder, "Don't be afraid. Ren is just worried for his friend. No need to be frightened. Anyway... We should be getting back to the others now." Enan coldly poked Ren and ruffled his feathers much like an older brother would. "You sure act like a child. I can't believe you're actually our Father's favorite at the moment. You're unworthy of the name Raphael." Kiel lifted a textbook and held it over Schuyler's head as it started to pour. "Wouldn't want you to get all wet, miss." he smiled. "If those Seraphim don't get here soon, we'll all catch colds." The Serpent flicked itself up and bashed it's head against the barrier. "Is that all you can do, little angel?" it hissed. Ramming it's head against the barrier again, small fractures appeared along Kaila's barrier. It's red eyes widened drastically and the barrier shattered, "What's the matter? Surprised? A half-hearted barrier can't hold me. Your body will become my afternoon snack! And later I'll feast on some pathetic freshman!" It slithered around and blocked Kaila's way.
Amittai Lief growled, "This isn't happening..." King Elstelz smiled at his soldiers and remaining people, "Was it necessary? To kill all of them? And now...what will you do?" The soldier pressed the barrel of his gun against the King's head, "Huh...sh-shut up! Like we said, Amittai is under Erios' jurisdiction. All these people will now be...eliminated." Lief's head jerked up. "What?! NO!" "Silence!" The soldier removed the gun from the King's head and shot Lief through the stomach. Elstelz nodded to James, who he'd seen hiding, and to the rest of the knights around the plaza. Elstelz's elbow jabbed into the soldier's helmet and his knee followed into the soldier's stomach. "Laetitia!" he shouted and held his hand out for a sword. Erios Ciel jumped at the sound of a little girl's voice and a Shadow spell flared to life in his hands as he turned to face them. "Oh, you startled me. This isn't child's play. You should go back to the city and wait there with your mother." Banishing his spell, Ciel sat comfortably on the ground to remain at their level. Several transports took off from the gates and more arrived to take more soldiers. But..oddly, not a single Raise Pillar was taken with them. Kallahi Crimson skidded to a halt in front of Advent, "Advent! Didn't you hear? We have permission to ask to be sent on a mission to find proof that Kallahi is not responsible for Erios' latest kidnapping of their High Priest. I'm going to ask Beta Gaia Commander myself." He paused for a moment and narrowed his eyes on Advent, "But you wouldn't be interested in this...you're nothing but Doctor Crescent's little suck up experiment." he snarled.
ooc: Let's get the ball rolling. bic: Later down the street indicated from the twins, there stood a warehouse just like they'd said. Cept this one was nothing but a pile of rubble. Lynne stood inbetween the twins Hikaru and Kaoru in the middle of what seemed like a multi-purpose store, bustling with people. Lynne struggled to keep her breath even and not let her heart race with fear.
Yves stood straight and spread his arms to encompass the other four, "We do. In fact, you're going to help us. A child of Heaven has rebelled against our Holy Father... This child has been summoning creatures of the underworld to attack fledgling angels. To change them into what he is.." Yves' face became dark and pained with anger. The white haired Seraph stepped forward, his cool compsure never budging from it's icy form. "That's enough, Amittai. No need to frighten your new underling. Kadaj will show his face soon enough...and we'll be ready and waiting for him when he does." Ren gritted his teeth as he felt a spike of fear tear through him. "Kaila!" Spreading his midnight blue wings he stopped suddenly as a wall of sheer ice formed in front of him, "Grr...Enan, get out of my way! She'll be killed!" Ren searched his icy blue eyes for some hint of anything. Nothing. No compassion, no anger, no fear shone in those icy eyes. "If you won't move, I'll make you move!" Storm clouds formed above in the sky and thunder and lightning coursed through them. "Raphael...I expected more from you." Kiel glanced upwards, "A storm?" It's forked tongue flicked out as it's head lowered from the leaves. An angel, both lovely and radiating an aura of well balanced powers for it to devour. Just as it was about to take a rather large bite out of Kaila's head, a sharp bolt of electricity surged out of her pocket from the pocket watch and pierced it's eye. A scream of pain emitted from it's mouth as it fell to the ground at the base of the tree it was lying in. The pocket watch kept glowing a vibrant blue and chiming a single high note in rapid succession.
The Seraphim set a hand on Tori's back and led her to a side courtyard where the other Seraphim waited. Ren stood there too, beside the Seraphim of the Dark Court. His golden eyes were cast downwards. "Tori...meet my fellow companions. To each of them, my name is Amittai. But to you and those in my court..." he bent down and pulled off his hood, black hair spilling around his face and lightly touched the light blue ribbon on Tori's wrist, "My name is Yves." Each of the Seraphim pushed off their hoods and either smiled or glared at Tori. Ren kept his eyes fixed on the ground, his fingers wrapped tightly around a glittering bracelet. Deep in the forest, a blaze of red surged around a large hole in the ground and out from it poured a long serpent like creature. It's red eyes glowed with mavolence and his scales secreted a black sludge. The serpent wound it's way around trees and up into their branches. Awaiting it's dinner of succulent divine angel flesh and blood.
accepted. Amittai Lief and his commanding officer arrived what seemed to be obviously way too late to Amittai's fountain plaza at the center of the city. "What? King Elstelz!!" Before them, several of Erios' army wearing gold armor surrounded the plaza and King Elstelz. The citizens either all dead or severely injured. A soldier held a short barreled pistol to the King's head, "Lay down your weapons and surrender. Amittai is now under the jurisdiction of High Priest Anagraze." Lief dropped his sword and closed his eyes to the calm look on his King's tanned face. Erios Soldiers dressed in gold armor piled into transports outside the gates. Each brandishing a sword forked at the tip like a snake tongue. "Alright, all of you pile in. For the liberation of Erios!" Ciel crouched near the ground outside his home. His head jerked up and spied the pillar of black smoke rising from Amittai, "They're being attacked...and yet we haven't even left the main gates. Something's wrong here."
"Not at all. Alice absorbed the power of a Goddess of Destruction when Istar first left home. After that...I've been praying that the Goddess within her stay dormant. Alice does have feelings for you, Auran. But currently the Goddess within her is in control. That Goddess only cares about life and power. As for her goal...she needs a new vessel. Without a new vessel, she cannot take the life of Alice and free herself in body and power." Nova gently touched Auran's cheek, "Alice vie Britannia is not awake, Auran. If you get her here...to Kingdom Hearts, the place where no one's hearts are safe, I will get her to tell you the entire truth."
The skies clouded over Erios and Amittai. Kallahi's pollution prevented change in weather inside the city. Rain drops started to patter down and citizens scurried inside. Ding~Dong a bell tolling a city wide announcement in Erios. "Citizens of Erios. Even with the absence of our beloved High Priest, we will continue to venture for peace. Amittai has been judged for siding with Kallahi. If they are truely a country of isolated peace, then...they would lay down their lives to our army. Our faith is strong, and our hope solid. Keep your faith, hope and pride in Erios and we will win!" The voice disappeared and Ciel snorted, "Now we're attacking Amittai...for no descernable reason? What are they thinking? This is ridiculous! Who's running things up there?" A student stood and bowed, "General Kakanas is running things now. Without His Excellence the High Priest, we're left to a General's dictation." Ciel frowned and scowled at the floor, "Kakanas...a military man controling a magic industrial country...students, you're free for the day. I must...discuss something with General Kakanas." He stood and headed towards the city and the capital's Palace. An explosion shook the ground below Lief and his commander. "What the...?" Without a word, his commander and himself ran back towards Amittai as a collum of black smoke rose from it's outer walls. "We're under attack? By who?" "See there boy? It's Erios. I never thought they'd be foolish enough to believe those lies. We must defend our home, Lief."
Elena babbled on and Kiel stared at the flowers as they swayed to her voice. His eyes caught again on Tori's ribbon, where the hell could it have come from? One of the Seraphim? Elena paused in her speech and her eyes clouded over, "Oh...! Monsuier Seraph!" The Seraphim of the High Court silently stepped into the music room, his hood pulled tightly over his head and shrouding his face in shadow. "It's time... I came to get you personally." his melodic voice rang only in Tori's mind and to the rest, Uriel's commanding voice echoed through the entire school. "All students and staff, report to the backyard courtyard. The Seraphim of the Courts have come to deliever us a brand new pathway into Heaven. Please report there immediately." Silence followed her voice before Kiel stood and stretched, "Shall we go then, Tori?" Gabriel and Sanya ushered their students quickly out to the courtyard and Elena fumbled around with her plants for a moment until most of the students had left already.
Try, I may also start on my friday afternoon...which would be later today. we'll see if I have time or not and if my mother allows me to be on my computer. ooc: Start! bic: Midafternoon in Kallahi was a nightmare. Rush hour and the amount of heat produced by the sun and the amount of chemicals from the production of magic crystals created a smog and kept in the heat. Dr. Cooke Crescent stared out her window at the hot streets and people bustling around. "One day, Max...we'll find a way to fix Kallahi, and then..." she stood and smiled at her twin brother. "Hey, Max, you think those boys we tested on will be alright?" Max grunted, he usually never spoke, and kept his eyes fastened on the book he was reading. Crimson ran up flights of stairs and down a hallway, his boots skidding on the marble flooring, "Doctor Crescent! Doct-" assuming the glass door was open was a mistake. He banged his face into the glass, leaving an imprint of his face on the door. "Ow...son of a..." Sliding it open, Crimson excitedly met Cooke and Max's concerned gazes. "The Primarch just issued orders to the military to send in applications to our commanding officers to be recomended for going to find proof of the kidnapping of the High Priest of Erios!" Cooke chuckled, "So? You came to us to tell us that?" She watched his face grow mottled with embarrassment as he bolted back out the door and down the hall. Lief Hyrin settled himself into a comfortable position under a tree. Amittai was such a more peaceful place than Kallahi's noisy streets and Erios' odd sights. "It's only natural to assume nature would be the better place to live. After all Lord Elstelz is much more relaxed in his way of ruling." Without a care in the world, Lief drifted into an easy sleep. "YO! Lief! Wake up boy! Time for you to go on an adventure! Since I know you Looooove them sooo much!" Opening one eye, Lief glared at his commanding officer of his troop, "Sir, no disrespect but....could you shut the hell up?! I don't like adventures. Whatever it is, I'm not doing it." Ciel watched his students practice in silence. He wasn't happy with their progress of late and even more displeased by Kallahi's awful show of diplomacy. "Kidnapping our High Priest...how low. If it wasn't for my school I'd go to Kallahi and kill every one of them." A few students stopped before him and bowed. Returning the smile, Ciel sighed, "What am I saying? I couldn't possibly hurt them all....after all, nature doesn't destroy for revenge. It destroys for peace and evolution." Mikatsu Numara breathed in the magic energy charged air and set her eyes on the city. "Alright, Mikatsu...time to make an impact on Erios. It's time to make the Numara name something of a legend in Erios. I'll find and return the High Priest to Erios, where he...errr...she? rightfully belongs."
Yes, it's alright. I'll make an acception for one Beta Gaia not having a beast form, but he'll get a lot of attention from the Crescent Doctors. Accepted. We'll start once the weekend begins.
Cute, I like it. Accepted. ^^ I'm waiting on a character post by Machina so we'll wait for him...and still some people to be from Kallahi. It's not all bad.
Alice set Docyx down for a moment and straightened his clothes, "Hey...Onii-chan, do you remember that time when we were kids....and I fell into the fountain? You laughed until you were rolling around on the ground...." she turned her face down, so it was covered in shadows, "I didn't like that. You shouldn't have laughed at me." Standing, Alice laughed, a brittle sound, "But...that doesn't matter now. You know...Onii-chan...if the Black Bloods from home find me here...without Sis, I'll be in trouble. The both of us will be...and it'll be a dark day. But~ I know how to keep them off our trail. Shall I tell you? Onii-chan....?" By now Alice's golden hazel eyes were dull and blank as she stared at Docyx and glanced backwards to where she'd left the other body. "Fine...no need to shout. I'll go get your friend."
