Amittai Lief sat up in bed, feeling a twinge of pain in his stomach, "I suppose I owe Kallahi a friendly hello...from my fist... Jerks..." Ciel held his head in his hands as he sat with King Elstelz in his smallish palace, "Their building a giant magic engine? The last time Erios tried to build one, it almost created a meteor that would've crashed into the Lost City's ruins..." "Yes, Kallahi is unpredictable with this. I'd like to ask you to take the group you have and go to Kallahi and investigate the magic engine. If it's stabel or not and even their motives. Ciel...you of all people understand magic energy better than most. Especially those from Amittai. I can't ask them to go into this if they don't know what they're looking for." Erios Mikatsu ducked out of her conversation with Fiona. The girl was ever changing her mind about people. Pulling out of the crowd, Mikatsu pulled her red hood over her white hair and kept her red eyes downwards as she bumped into a boy saying he was lost. "If you're lost I could help."
A burst of light knocked Auran, Gexln and Genesis away from him. "True...I'm not." He crossed his arms in front of his chest and bowed his head. Rainbow wings shimmered on his back and his entire body changed. He grew older, his blond hair longer. "Now...you believe you can kill me? Ridiculous." Genesis combed his hair in frustration, "This conversation is ridiculous. Talking to a God...Souichirou can't you just shoot this chum?" Sou's glare scorched Genesis and he shrugged.

Ryku's emotions flicked across his face as fast as Kaleb rattled off the information he had. "Lazard...that no-good son-of-a... It can't be...that can't be right." Taking a deep breath, Ryku cleared his throat, "A bomb... I'll have to explain more later. I'm coming with you. I don't care what you tell them, Kaoru is a friend. Despite his brother's antics, he's always been my backup when Demitri was sick. Kaoru is my hook up. He gets Dem's medicine into the country without a problem. I can't let him go to prison." Picking up his mini-tv, Ryku half ignored Kaleb's last statements. "I don't expect anything from it. And we're not running around doing anything. It's...an unfortunate meeting of people. Lynne...no...that Runner doesn't mean anything to me other than another paycheck." Checking his pistol, Ryku silently frowned, I should've brought something more hefty... Like Demitri always says...'A good, reliable gun is one you can barely hold up.' Tossing his head, Ryku started to laugh, "I can't believe this! My old man puts a bomb on a girl you all think I have feelings for! All for some silly research project. Which by-the-way, he probably lied to you all about. He lies to everyone about it. Clones...what a joke." Pulling himself together he gave Kaleb a friendly glance, "You ready? Any of those Runners got any bomb training? Or even surgical training. I can handle the bomb." Lynne cursed herself for being careless and knelt on the hard ground before Hikaru and Kaoru. Why did it have to come to this... Mya, if you dare come for me I'll kill you. Don't be so damn stupid. She glanced at her would-be kidnappers. Kaoru looked like he was about to shake right out of his skin, while Hikaru....had a self-loathing look on his face. "You boys aren't cut out for this, are you? Lazard get your britches in a bunch with all his lies? What's the matter? You see a ghost, Kaoru?" Hikaru and Kaoru had been listening in on Ryku's and Kaleb's conversation from an old com-link frequency. "Dammit....if Ryku comes here...we're done for. Nnn... God save us..." Kaoru closed his eyes and knelt beside Lynne, "Since this has gone down the drain...we're going to set you free, Lynne. Okay?" He waited for her nod and cut the zip-tie holding her hands secure. "Lazard did lie to us. We don't take that kindly. Plus...we've been doing behind the scenes trading with Runners for a while now. It'd be a shame if you all stopped getting supplies. We do a lot of things...but killing people for stuff we have no idea about isn't one of them."

ooc: Happy Thanksgiving! Lets see. The Seraphim called all the students out into the back courtyard and Kaila was attacked in her own medow in the forest by a creature from the Dark. Sanya showed her true colors and Kiel and Schuyler were injured by another creature of the Dark. The Summer Court has claimed Schuyler and the High Court placed claim on Kiel's unconscious body. The Winter Court displayed it's first sensation of interest in Kaila as the Seraph of the Dark Court inerrogated and killed the creature of the Dark, the Serpent. The Seraphim have revealed their intention: to find a replacement for the High Court Seraph and to keep selective humans safe from the Dark. Classes are cancled for the rest of the day after dinner. bic: Kiel groaned, his back was in agony. "Geez...did I get hit by a bus?" A nurse with small white wings giggled, "No, sweetie, but you did get hit by a nasty Slayer. I'll take care of you." Sanya skipped happily with Tori to dinner. Enan chucked his cloak around a figure of ice he created and silently followed Kaila. How odd... Females...I'll never understand how their minds work. Why would she be so against the students meeting humans and consorting with them? Angels and humans won't breed ever...especially if Sanya does her job correctly. "Kaila, wait."
Souichirou rolled his brown eyes, "You guys are weird..." Bloody Rose changed shape and he closed his eyes. With Alice held up and restrained by Nova, he fired a charged purple shot at Alice. The purple cross burned through her body and a bright light ripped itself from Alice's body. Mithos took the form of a little boy with blond hair and blue eyes. "You're not going to hurt me...no...you wouldn't hurt a child would you? What would Alice think of you?" Genesis snorted, "B!tch please! Children are our fencing dummies." His sword clashed with a magical shield around Mithos.
Ryku shoved Kaleb off the swing he was sitting on and glared at him, "Something you want to tell me, Kaleb? Hikaru and Kaoru are hired...they don't work for anyone. First things first...highly populated? The park doesn't count. Your friend...is doomed to a mental breakdown. This thing? With the Runners? It won't last if things keep up like this. Hikaru may be stupid and not realize who you are...but Kaoru will figure it out." He closed his eyes and chucked the mini-tv onto the ground near Kaleb. It still showed Lynne and the Twins. "Mega-store. Uptown. More people than 9/11 will die. Now..who's behind this? Who hired the Twins?"
Lightning kept re-summoning Oden's weapons to her hands and changing from Commando and Ravager, slicing through Pantheron after Pantheron and Watchdrone. Having them disappear for a moment, Light rushed forwards, her feet skidding across the ground as she forced her momentum to spin herself in a forward pattern, "Dodge this!" Her blitz attack, cleared a path through them. Freezing the few remaining Pantheron's with a Blizzara, Lightning turned her attention to progressing. Blood rushed through her ears, but dulled for a brief moment as she heard a young girl's cry. A little girl was trapped underneath a Pantheron's body, it's claws had pierced through the young child's leg when it fell. Gently shoving it off her, Light picked up the girl and carried her towards Sanctum. "You'll be alright." Everything seemed quiet for a moment as she made progress towards Sanctum's doors. The ground shook...and again. Stopping, Lightning looked around for the source, the little girl clutching her neck. Around the corner, a Behemoth ravaged the ground with it's talons. "Some things in life you just do."
