Hello, members of KHV! We have some important information to relay to you today: we have received an alarming royal message from her majesty the Queen of Hearts herself! If we don't meet her demands, it may be off with all of our heads -- and we need your help to meet them! The letter instructs as follows: So there you have it! We have been cursed... honored with the Queen's invitation to her own exclusive Valentine's Day Tea Party. We need to send the guest list back to the Queen so that her court can set up the Tea Party with enough concessions. That being said, the next task falls to you: If you would like to RSVP (get a spot on the guest list), please post below! There are two ways you can reserve a spot: - With a chosen partner. Make sure to consult the person in question first, and make sure they agree. Post both your names here. - As a single guest. Simply post a confirmation of intent to attend here. You will be placed into a pool with other guests who did not sign up with a partner, and a partner will be chosen for you randomly. We will close sign-ups in a week (February 1st). Remember to expect ANYTHING at this crazy party! Don't let us down... our lives depend on it! - The KH-Vids.net Staff
Hahahahaha that's pretty great xD. Fixed it =]
FULL ROUND OF DRINKS ON THE HOUSE except I'm underage and I kind of dislike alcohol lol But in all seriousness... lol. I think it's an interesting choice, particularly because alcohol is a depressant and caffeine is a stimulant... I remember reading that it was really dangerous to drink alcohol with, say, Red Bull. I guess the difference is here is the lack of taurine and less caffeine, though -- people drink stuff like rum and coca cola all the time, after all. I know the intention is not to put the alcohol in the coffee, but it's just funny how they're polar opposites and yet Starbucks will be stocking alcohol xD. But that being said, I think it'll be awkward going to a coffee shop like Starbucks and seeing people drinking. Coffee shops are well known for their laid back/relaxed atmosphere, and while Starbucks claims that the aim is to enhance that, something like that could also damage it imo. I guess only time will tell. ...Fixing the title now, lol.
HP Touchsmart 610-1050y. And it's no problem lol, I'm grateful for the help xD. EDIT: Did some troubleshooting with Misty on MSN and this appears to be fixed now! Thank you guys!~
Quite literally all it says is "Broadcom WLAN Adapter" in the properties x: Just checked my power settings like in the link, adapter power is set to max. All-in-one desktop.
Looks like it's been taken care of now lol. No worries =].
Generally you should inform a reporter of the news for them to post =].
For the time being, yup.

this thread makes me want to watch Aladdin
Okay so basically, every time my computer goes to sleep, it cuts me off from the internet. This is normally no problem but if I am, say, waiting for a message or want to leave something downloading, it makes it so I either have to turn the sleep function off entirely, or stay at the computer constantly. Further, every time I want to use my wireless printer I have to reinstall the drivers, which is quite frankly ridiculous. I did a little research on it and found this, and a few other people around the web with issues and solutions just like it. But the problem for me is that the Power Management tab is simply not there. When I get to my WLAN adapter properties and click configure, I get just four tabs: General, Advanced, Driver, and Details. None of them have a readily apparent way to change the behavior of the adapter so that it doesn't cut off when my computer goes to sleep. I've also tried to go into Windows' Power Options in the Control Panel, but I couldn't find that option there either. ...Is there something really obvious I'm missing here? Any help would be appreciated x: .
