^^^ And now, a brief moment of silence for the mostly destroyed Helicarrier. Twas a fine ship she was, more than ship even, because she could fly. Fury will not be the same without his beloved vessel, hijacking of the Halberd a later event.
As I was writing Loki's entrance I wondered if you'd see it. xD I was so happy to bring him in, now he must meet Scar and they can complain about...
~It's The End Of The World As We Know It~ "And I feel fine." Loki laughed as Fury was pinned down by the Omega, "You see Fury, it's over. Nothing can save you now-" The horn from before repeated, but sounded louder and much closer. Loki turned away from Fury and looked into the sky to see the hand the world had been dealt. He raised his staff into the air and began maniacally laughing, "YES, Come and lay waste to this world! Destroy everything in your path! Leave no surviv-" A molten stream blasted down from one of the Reapers and narrowly missed Loki, tearing an enormous hole in the Helicarrier. Loki stood there with the same smile as before, but his face looked empty, emotionless. "Lolwut" The Helicarrier began to fall out of the sky with the immense damage it had taken, the only thing steadying it's fall was Thor. On the deck Hal had to think of something fast to save Director Fury, he stared the creature down and gripped his fist. "In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!" Hal flew off the side of the descending Helicarrier and created a giant Magnet, the Omega was yanked off of Fury and got stuck to the magnet. "So long." He dropped the magnet down into the city, it crashed into a building and cratered into the street below. Nearby said street Batman and Hawkeye were doing there best to hold off the invading forces when they teamed up with Iron Man, X and Zero. The Flash had once again saved the disgruntled elderly man from being smashed by the falling magnet. "We really need to get you somewhere safe man." Batman tapped Wally on the shoulder, "It doesn't look like that's going to be an option.." The group looked up into the sky as the Reapers began invading the planet, Hawkeye watched in horror as the Helicarrier was being ripped to shreds by the attacks. "What can we do..?" "I'll tell you what we won't do. Leave this city, leave these people to be slaughtered. We'll stand and fight against all odds." "Hey I'm not running away." The Flash said smugly, but you could feel the sense of weariness in his voice. "Never." Hawkeye loaded an arrow into his bow, "It's our duty, our calling to protect these people." "Joker, regardless of the past we share this is our day of reckoning. I guess it actually your second, but today we stand together to protect our home. Do whatever it takes to get these people to safety, to save the people of our planet." The group looked into the sky as the Helicarrier continued it's decent and the Reapers began to destroy everything.
If there is any problem with what I just posted let me know, Loki is only showing a projection of a reaper.
~The Helicarrier~ :A Warning to the Prophet: As the Helicarrier stabilized thanks to Iron Man and Thor's assistance, the Green Lantern continued mercilessly beating the ever loving crap out of the Omega creature with a variety of weapons he formed using his ring. "If you've had enough of the hammer then take an aircraft!" Hal formed an actual F-22 Raptor and threw it at the Omega, it exploded on impact and sent the battered beast careening down the deck on fire. "Good work Lantern. Thor...keep holding up." Spoiler: Fitting Music begins to play [video=youtube;O-jrFcobLQM]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-jrFcobLQM&feature=related[/video] Above even the Helicarrier the storm was growing stronger, heavy rains falling throughout the city as lightening crashed and thunder roared. Something seemed off putting as Fury looked into the sky, "This isn't right, something very wrong is happening." Hal looked over at Fury after dispatching the Omega, "What is it Director? Just looks like we're having a really bad storm, think it might have to do with all these aliens?" Fury looked over at Thor as he lifted the turbine up and could see it in his eyes as well, "Yes Lantern...a very bad storm." The Tesseract inside the Helicarrier shot a lightning bolt up through the deck as sparks flew everywhere, the storm beginning to circle around the area as thick fog encompassed the spot where all the sparks were coming from. Director Fury and Hal looked on as something began to reflect a light into there eyes, it looked as if two golden horns were piercing up through the fog. Spoiler: You will Kneel The figure raised completely out of the haze, a large staff in his hand, a helmet brandished with golden horns, and a devilish smile stuck to his face. "I am Loki, of Asgard. And I am burdened with glorious purpose." Fury narrowed his..eye, and lifted his pistols up, "Loki, why are you here?" The Director accusingly said. "We have enough problems to deal with without you running amuck." The smile did not leave his face as Loki took a step toward Fury, "Oh you've seen nothing yet, Director Fury. This is only the beginning, the beginning of the end." He shot a beam of energy into the sky from his staff, it looked as if it was a giant screen to view something. "Witness now before you, the end of your existence." The music paused for a moment, everything went dead silent, Fury, Hal, and everyone in Gotham could see the giant projection. There was nothing for a moment, then Spoiler [video=youtube;pXFcsSl0p48]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXFcsSl0p48&feature=related[/video] The screech echoed throughout the city, causing people to fall down in terror. Loki's smile grew more sinister as he saw Thor gazing upon the image of a Reaper somewhere in space. "You see brother, protector of earth, there will be nothing you can do this time. Soon there will nothing left."
I didn't know you were bringing someone in now, I was just going to let the villains be for the moment while things unfolded on earth. After I've finished my next post I'll work on another villain post in a bit. Is cool.
For old times sake when the Reapers invade they have to become dumbfounded by the unknown cold location.
Yeah..at the very least it does normal damage. It might be water resists ice and water does normal against ice, or vise versa.
I have not decided that, nor will I for awhile. The second arc is supposed to be longer than the first one was, the reason DT is doing the second...
She's partially right. Charizard couldn't learn fly in Red/Blue, he was first able to in Yellow. *-shot for knowing this- Of course if the last pokemon game you played was Red or Blue you're a tad behind.
