Ryku nodded and swallowed. He wasn't so well with blood, but in this case, the severity of the bomb threat was overwelming his revulsion to blood. "Yeah, me too. It's not so complex. You see that? The and red wires running from the bomb upwards? It must be connected to a device set on her heart. Her heart rate must be key to setting it off."
Ren watched her. Sliding on the robe she'd given him he hung his pants and trying to avoid the awkwardness, his boxers with them. "No...I wanted to apologize. I was a fool to yell at you over something so stupid. It's idiotic of me. And...I wanted to fill you in on the rest of stuff Uriel knows but doesn't know." He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her back against him, "The Dark Court has associations with humans with half Nephilim blood. They aren't considered Nephilim because they carry so little of the blood. They're the Silent Brothers. A group that probes the minds of the Dark itself. Kyrios is in charge of it, but I've seen them. Nothing else is known. I'd say you could meet them but..." he buried his face in her shoulder, "You can't unless you're a member of the Dark Court." Kiel snatched food and ate it as soon as he could reach it. "That kid...what's-his-name....the rude one from class before. He hasn't bothered you lately has he? I noticed he liked you when we met him. I don't like that kid." Swallowing, Kiel rubbed at his back again. "My back itches like crazy...."
Mikatsu's head jerked up, "Uh...happy...thoughts..." She wiped her tears and touched a few of the runes around her. They flared and dulled at her touch. "They form words, you know. The runes." Each of them disappeared slowly and eventually the circle disappeared. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to suddenly pour out my problems to you. Gosh, you must think I'm weird." She studied him and reached over to pull on his hair, "You certainly are full of strange things. But..your hair is like mine...and your eyes are different. Like mine!" she grinned and pushed off the red hood of her cloak, revealing her white hair.
Nova relaxed on the ground a little ways away. "I dunno. Maybe you should've spent more time figuring out how to kill him than trying to talk to Alice." Souichirou huffed and shot a blazing purple cross into one of Mithos' wings. "Happy?" Genesis nodded once as Mithos' angered glare turned to the boy. "Why you!"
Ren closed his eyes as she snapped his arm back in place. He was used to it by now, but still his teeth gritted. "Thanks...but you intend to watch me undress?" His smile was small even as he spoke, his powers held the warm coffee aloft as he reached for the torn bottom of his shirt with one hand and the buckle of his pants with the other. "At least my arm works now, you shouldn't have gone through so much trouble to do all this for me." Chucking his wet shirt to the floor, Ren reached for his drink. Kiel chuckled. His mouth started to water as he smelt the food. "I don't think I've ever been this excited for food in my life."
Ryku watched Lynne lay back and close her eyes. "Okay..." Ryku shmushed next to Alex and brushed off the paper drapes on her upper body. He pulled her shirt up further, following the line of staples. "This goes further than you think. For once, don't be so damn stupid! Let me help you! EBO or not, I can help. Open her up...Alex." His icy eyes pierced into Alex, their determination to help unwavering.
Jo ducked under a fence and stopped running after a few miles. What's this....an orphanage? Hmph...at least it'll be warm and they have food... She pushed open the doors and hid her guns. If you ask me it looks abandoned...there had better be some food around here. Jo shook soot and ash out of her white hair and off her clothes. "Hellll-oooooo! Anybody here!?"
Uriel hid her smile, "I wouldn't bet....Enan is in a lot more trouble than he knows." Ren watched Kaila set down food and drinks. This throat felt like ice daggers were shoved down it and his entire body was wet. "Your rooms smell like you. I'm glad you made it your own. I'm grateful you came when you did." his voice rasped out as he shifted in his chair. "Would you....do me a favor and help me pop my shoulder back in place?" He gestured to his limp left arm. Ren's yellow eyes appraised her and a slight smile quirked his lips up. "I promise I won't scream." Kiel laughed, "You sound like my mother. Sheesh... But thanks for coming to get me anyways. I thought she was gonna starve me to death. I'd say I feel great if I didn't start breaking out in cold sweats every now and then." He grinned up at Tori and folded his arms, massaging his shoulder. From behind it was clear his fingers came close to digging into a hole left from the Slayer's spine.
Lynne nodded, even though her eyes filled with tears as she swallowed the pills. She lifted her shirt, showing the crude staples that served as stitches along her stomach and up across her chest. Ryku grinned, "Dem did say I had an odd way of swearing. At least it's appropriate. Anyway...I can't just lay here. It's my job to help." He crawled over to Lynne, setting a hand on Alex's shoulder, "Need anything? The bomb is my duty, you just open her up and close her when I'm done."
Lynne blinked away tears and touched her hand to her stomach, "He...he put it...inside me." For a moment, Lynne stopped breathing, her eyes wide. With all the commotion, she hadn't noticed her heart rate speeding up. "I'm going to die! I gotta calm down....ah jeez...Alex, don't you have anything at all that will calm me?" Ryku rolled over, groaning, "Son of a gun...that hurt. Who knew Kaoru...that little punk, packed a lot of punch. Shhhhhh-ishkababs....ah, freaking Oreo cookies!" His odd way of cursing pulled a few laughs from hiding civilians. Opening one eye, Ryku eyed Kaleb first.

Uriel closed her eyes, The Seraphim must know something...it would've been better had they not gone home for the night. Enan is not here to discuss this with...only...Kyrios... I'm not discussing anything with that revelry-addict. Kiel shrugged on his shirt and nodded, encouraging the Nurse to agree with Tori's claims. "Fine...but no moving around too much. Professor Logos will stay here with me while you two get dinner and we'll start constructing the antidote for you. Slayer's spines are dangerous. You're lucky you're not dead already." Kiel gave her a sarcastic smile, "Thanks a lot." He'd started sweating again and flung his legs over the side of the bed. "Can we go before I start eating a person? Or this nightstand?" His stomach growled in agreement.
Erios Mikatsu's hands trembled as the waitress moved away, her eyes still wide from his order. "You don't...understand...do you? This -" she waved her hand at the floating marks and ice covered a nearby table a couple were about to sit down at. They gave her frightened looks and Mikatsu flinched, jerking her hand back to the table. "I can't turn this off. I can't make it go away like other mages can." She shut her eyes in fear and kept very still, even as the marks around her grew more intricate and flared in colors. Kallahi Crimson rolled his eyes, "Why would you want to stay? All they'll do is more tests on you. What I mean is...do you want to stay in their department of the military? Don't you want a normal life and a family? Even if the war ends, would you rather stay Cooke and Max's experiment for the rest of your life or live like everyone else?" He sighed, "You...know Max isn't going to ever speak to you. Doctor Crescent told me he hasn't spoke since....the day they met General Kakanas of Erios when they were kids. Something about he treated them harshly or something." He rambled and drifted off for a while into silence. "Do you...actually like her that way? The Doctor I mean." his slitted red eyes darted from Advent's face to the floor infront of him.
Blaze grew irritated. Nobody was even here. She didn't want to stay here. She had things to do, and a home to find. Her flames burst loose and destroyed the container. "I'm going home..." Jumping out the window, Blaze landed in a parking lot. A car trunk was open. Digging into the bag, Blaze looked through the content. What is this?
Kaoru laughed, "You really don't get it. Honestly, we couldn't care about Lazard. He lied to us. Our payment was bounced. So now...we're holding Lynne and the civillians in this store hostage for proper payment. This isn't about anything but money right now." Hikaru grabbed his brother's shoulder, "Kaoru, stop! This isn't you. You're acting like Demitri! Let's just go...we'll get our money another way. Plus, they have enough problems with the girl." He pulled his brother back and away towards the second set of stairs. "This isn't over! You and the Runners are going to get royally screwed!" Lynne started to cry, inching towards Ryku on the ground.
Kallen grinned again, "Name's Kallen. Kallen Mizuho. Where DO you live? Obviously it's not from around here." She suppressed her amazement, It can talk....whoa... Lelouch watched the girl and the creature talking. This has to be the wierdest thing of my life...

Kaoru froze. "Kaleb...I figured it was you. This kind of thing isn't for you, kid. The field is a dangerous place. Hikaru, bring the girl, we've got an unwanted visitor!" Hikaru shuffled Lynne over to the stairs and stared at Kaleb for a while. "Who's this? His face if familiar...." Kaoru rolled his eyes and kicked Ryku on the ground, "It doesn't matter! What matters is he has a gun and is now a problem. Put down your gun, Kaleb. We don't want any unnecessary bloodshed here, but I will give the order to execute the girl. Lazard may have hired us, but I call the shots around here." He lifted his hand and Hikaru reluctantly touched the tip of his gun to Lynne's head. "Sorry, Lynne...Kaoru's serious."
Kallen stepped onto the train, her eyes drooping before she bumped into someone. "Huh? Hey, what's the big ide....a....?" she followed his stare down to the blue hedgehog. "What the...?" Pushing past others she moved closer to it and crouched in front of it. "Hey...you're pretty odd lookin'. Going to Mystic Ruin's are ya? Neat, me too. It's peaceful there....jeez, I'm rambling again. What's your name, little fella?" Kallen smiled. Lelouch's eyes slid from the newspaper in his hands to the odd blue hedgehog on the train. Interesting... Blaze woke with a bright light in her eyes. "Hmm...where...am I?" Sitting up, Blaze glowered around at the lab she was in. "This isn't right...it's not home. I need to go home."
Jo zipped up her jacket and headed out of her small home. If there's ever a day when being a witch with a gun isn't a good day...I don't want to see it. She hid her twin pistols well under the flaps on her pants. Her boots crunched on dirt as she walked through town. Stopping, Jo eyed the soldiers passing by her. "This thing is supposed to detect witches. Took it right from the labs. I wonder if it actually works." An obnoxious beeping sound started going off and they stopped, staring at Jo. "Witch! Freeze!" Jo's temper flared, "Who're you calling a Witch!? Filthy humans!" She pulled her guns, shooting one in the head and missing the other. She shoved one pistol away and snapped her fingers. A bust of flame surrounded the soldier. "Alright, so I'm a witch. What're you gonna do about it?" Bolting away from the soldier, Jo stuck her tongue out before the fire completely engulfed him.
Erios Mikatsu smiled and waved down a nervous looking waitress. "Two medium rare steaks and a cup of coffee for me." She grinned at the waitress, forgetting her fears for a moment as the boy across from her constantly made her smile. The girl blew out the candle on their table, "We're trying to keep a romantic mood here. Composite magic isn't helping our advertisment. You're scaring the customers." Lowering her eyes, Mikatsu's hand that lie on the table fisted around the silverware and ice encased each flame. Letting it flicker and glow through the glittering ice. "Is that better?" Around Mikatsu, a circle of green glowed with several markings in the air around her. A sure sign of composite magic. Amittai Ciel nodded, "We're leaving ahead of schedule so we can get a jump on the monsters in our path. You two, stay close, I don't want to be scraping bits of little witches out of some monster's teeth." He caught sight of Lief hurrying toward him and waved at him. "C'mon! We're leaving early! Lief, keep an eye on your wound...blood attracts more dangerous monsters." Lief nodded and frowned down at the little girls, "They're coming too? This isn't a field trip, you know."
