Xenree snatched her Keyblade as it returned to her. "I am the future ruler. My name is Xenree Parenthapaeus." She refused to admit the obvious. No heart beat in her chest, just as no emotions influenced her behavior. "Oh...you're talking about that... I am a Nobody. A being without a heart." She growled, "Are you going to join me or not? I have no patience for humans." Sei zipped around his friends, takiing out Heartless. Once they'd all vanished, Sei stood straight and felt Aerith hug him. "Thank you Sei, Carrie." "N-no problem..."
Jo pulled a pistol and shoved it under Jellal's chin. "Don't tell me what to do." Using her other pistol, she shot a soldier running towards them with a sawed-off shotgun. "I know the limits of fighting with magic." She felt a trickle of sweat touch her neck and took a deep breath of charred skin, hair and ash. "As long as the fire burns on, so does my magic."
Xenree's dark Keyblade pulled from the ground of it's own accord and parried the attacks from the charging Keyblade wielders. Xenree turned and her silver eyes pierced Poke, "Touch the World Heart and Twilight Town will be destroyed," she snapped her fingers, "Just like that." Xenree's vampiric teeth poked out from under her top lip. "You want to change it? Join me."
Jo burned with anger as the dome of earth covered her and her backup. As soon as it released them, Jo tightened the scarf around her neck and ran back towards the fighting. She wasn't done. The beat of her boots ended the second she found her victims. Soldiers, each of them armored with riot shields. Jo's grin widened as she thrust a hand forwards, releasing a wave of fire. "Chew on this!" Fireballs soared into the sky, gathering into one and plummeted towards the soldiers. Out of the explosion, a Juggernaut, armed to the teeth with ammo and a fire-proof suit, slowly stalked out. Closing her hands into fists, Jo surrounded herself in fire. "Let's see how hot you can stand! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Dust clouds covered the scene as Jo smashed her fist into the Juggernaut's helmet and smashed him into the ground.
Jo grinned, "Sure, just keep that water away from my fire. Watch my six!" Jo ran into the fray of humans, her pistols blazing with fire-enhanced bullets.
Jo barely flinched and instead grinned. "Alright! Time to whoop some government hide!" Jo bolted from the others and pried open a shuttered window. Slipping out the window, Jo landed solidly on her feet and let her hands slide to her guns. "Bring it on!" Fire lept from her boots and spread across the ground. "Hey fellas! You lookin' for something?!" Rifles aimed at her and muffled voices shouted, "There she is! Get her!"
Before you go any further: This is NOTHING like Twilight. My vampires don't glitter and my werewolves don't strip every 30 seconds. Werewolves and Vampyres…the war between them ended several years ago, yet still some blood feuds haven’t been settled. This held true for one vampire in particular. Seth Phantomhive; an old vampyre from the year 1666. Seth held a substantially high place of power. His own clan in Manhattan and Jamaica regarded him, their leader, as someone who held great influence in several cities and countries. The problem…a family had recently left a baby on his doorstep. Assuming they hadn’t known he was a vampyre, he’d taken the child in and watched the little one grow. With a new figure in the game between vampyre houses of power, Seth will have to keep his head down and his eye fastened on his new adopted daughter as everyone vies for her attention to gain ahead in the struggle for control of New York. A note on my version of Vampyres: 1) they do feed on human blood. 2) werewolf blood tastes like spoiled milk to them 3) drinking dead blood (blood of someone that's already dead) is like poison to them 4) They can't enter a building with human's living in it. A vampire house is fine since no one living lives there. 5) A stake to the heart, decapitation, and sunlight will kill them immediately. 6) holy water only burns them and garlic is just a myth 7) they're normally cold on the outside, which is why they drink live blood or coffee to keep them warm to anyone they touch. 8) meeting a vampire's gaze will ensnare you and whether or not you want to, you cannot resist their influence 9) the older the vampire, the stronger they are 10) if they go too long without feeding, they become sick 11) a vampire does not age, ever. The age theyre Turned, is the age they'll stay 12) older vampires have the choice to hide their fangs or not 13) Vampires don't need to breathe, but they do to remain a sense of normalicy ~~ Seth currently resides in Manhattan, New York. He lives in a high grade mansion with four maids. Yuka, his main maid; Jenny, his house caretaker; Mirabelle, his serving maid; and Cooke, his chef. Seth keeps a tidy house and feeds regularly on live humans he keeps as consorts. Yuka, maintaining as Seth's constant companion, wears a red ribbon around her neck with a bell as a sign of submission to her Master. ~~ The oddity about the child they took in...she's growing faster than a normal human. Seth's vampyre buisness keeps him away from the child and thus only Yuka knows her secret. Seth controls a few of the largest groups in Manhattan: the Bars, Casinos, and drug schemes. Other vampyres envy, distrust and dislike Seth, but he has few friends. Friends, enemies, and buisness clients...all clamoring for a chance to see the child he adopted and use her secret to their advantage. Werewolves live freely throughout Manhattan, living in Clans with others under the mentoring of a Clan leader. Although not entirely socially accepted, werewolves have gained a rather normal status in the world and deal with vampyres with conditions. They own their own clubs, usually named after something werewolf related. Time after time, he battled through economic drops and wars right back to the top. With his maids: Yuka, Jenny, Maribelle and Cooke; Seth keeps a high standard mansion and buisness running smoothly. This life turned upside down when a baby girl was left on his doorstep. With his mind divided, he's had to fight harder in the buisness world and in his own personal world to maintain a well-kept composure. Other: Seth acts like he's constantly tired and most of his maids sleep during the daytime while he remains awake, doing buisness with werewolves and humans. Not to mention his devistating good looks.
Jo grinned and jabbed her thumb at her chest. "They wanted to meet me. And then just more people came. Cause, I'm cooler than you believe."
Jo glowered at him, but stopped her crude retort when she shuffled over and glanced over Ulrich's shoulder at the notebook. "Nice. I can't draw if my life depended on it. Though if I could all my sketches would be of the destruction I cause." She laughed, short and simple, and cracked her knuckles. "Hey, I'm Jo. You got a name?"
Ren forced her away and moved away from the wall, heading down the hallway with the girl trailing after him. "Angels don't betray those they commit to. I'm involved with someone, Gena. I won't betray her." Even though he was lying, his thoughts trailed to Kaila oddly enough. Ren and Gena came across Schuyler, Diane and Sora in the hall. His yelllow eyes narrowed, forgetting about the love struck student behind him. "What're you three doing out here? This hallway leads to the Professor's rooms." He came to a stop in front of them. Gena peaked out from behind him, her eyes still roaming around Ren's bare chest. "Names." he demanded. Kiel struggled up as Kadaj stopped moving and hobbled away from him with Tori in haul. "C-come on..." His muscles tensed and relaxed in spasms as electricity coursed through his body. His shirt hung in tatters off his shoulders and water dripped off him. "I'm g-g-going to g-get you ins-s-s-side..." Wrapping an arm around her waist, Kiel struggled to make his legs move forward instead of collapse and crumple to the ground.
Ryku shuffled along the street rather lazily, fiddling with the bomb. Lazard must know EBO would get involved in this with Hikaru and Kaoru being hired. Inside a Runner...well, there's a new low for you.
Xenree snatched the spear before it could damage the Heart. Using that spear she knocked Poke's Keyblade away from her and stabbed it into the ground, catching Poke with it. "Where do you think you're going? You don't want to miss the show do you?" The World Heart rose up into the sky, burning with a black hue before dulling and turning completely black. The Nobody symbol with black thorned vines twining around it engraved itself into the Heart. Xenree smoothed back her hood and let her black hair fly out from her coat. Pale skin shone in the dull light and her silver eyes glittered malicously with expectations. "That's...the World Heart of Twilight Town." Renee covered her mouth and closed her brown eyes. "That girl...in black, she did this, I just know it." Sei hurried with Carrie and Yuffie to Merlin's house. Finding Cid, Leon, Aerith and Merlin fending off Heartless. Sei's Keyblade flashed into his hand as he darted forward and cut through two Shadows that were about to jump onto Aerith's back. She smiled at him and Sei's cheeks turned pink. Riku turned, his gaze following Sora's to the girl on the beach. "I don't know..." Halfway turning, Riku's blue eyes narrowed suspciously. The last time someone strange had come to the Islands, they'd brought trouble with them.
Sei frowned for a moment, "My mother sent me here...before...the darkness...she said..." he whimpered for a moment and Yuffie hugged him. "I don't remember...something awful happened and mom sent me here. I don't know what happened to her...or anybody from home...I can't even remember where home is." Sei's silver eyes widened for a moment, "There are Heartless...outside Merlin's house." Xenree laughed, releasing one of her Keyblades and spearing the other into the ground at her feet. "I see darkness touched you a long time ago. I don't have time for hostages." From her Keyblade, Darkness spread and a large crystaline heart rose from the ground. "The world heart of Twilight Town. Let's see just how much faith you have." Touching her hand to it, a blaze of black fire. Renee looked up and re-summoned her Keyblade to her hands. "Thanks. I'm Renee. You are?"
Jo finished the apple and rolled her eyes playfully, "Can I deck you? It would make me feel better!" she laughed, having never been comfortable when someone was crying and she could just hear the tears in the girl's voice.
Xenree cast a hateful glare at Poke and dodged his move. She stood beside the residents, her Keyblades stretched out at her sides and held to the mayor and a young boy's throats. "Try that again and I'll cut their throats. All I need is a little time." Sei took her hand and stood, his eyes cast downward. "I don't know what to explain... My name is Sei, I sense Heartless and sometimes Nobodies...I'm on the Restoration Committee and I don't remember my past. I can't remember my mother, my father...or what seems to be a vauge image of a sister."
Ren fell against a wall, a student's hands all over him. He made a face, "This isn't right...Gena...you are a student and I'm a teacher. It wouldn't work out even if I was interested. Gena...I do like you, but not in that way." She started to cry and fell against him. Adopting a gentle nature, Ren stroked her hair and hugged her. "Shh...it'll be alright. There are plenty of other boys in this school for you. You have a while to choose someone. Those in Heaven are handsome, perhaps your mate awaits there for you. Don't waste your love on me, Gena." Pulling back, she whispered to him, "Ren please..." She pulled on him and stood on her tip toes to get closer to him. Kiel shuffled Tori behind him and blocked Kadaj's weak punch, "That's nice and all, but right now I'm in the middle of a fight. Whatever Amittai does doesn't concern me at the moment." He scooted her back a little further and lifted his arm to block Kadaj again when he felt a stab of pain in his arm. Kadaj held his fist closed and poised over the pain. "Huh?" Pulling back, Kiel watched a small glittering, silver dagger covered in blood. His blood. "You...you stabbed me? Cheap move..." He lowered his head for a moment and growled, "Now you've made me mad." He launched himself at Kadaj and fell into the mud. Kadaj wrestled with him until they were both covered in mud, "Filthy Nephilim! I'll kill you!" Kiel's body shook with anger even as Kadaj ripped his shirt and sent volts of electricity through his body.
Sei flinched and uncurled, "I...I'm sorry...I don't...know who I'm talking about..." Xenree's silver eyes darted towards the oncoming balls and as fast as lightning, Xenree's Keyblades slashed them to pieces. "That's enough." she snarled, two Keyblades in her hands now. The residents trembled where they stood. The air was tense, even as Xenree took slow, deliberate steps toward the residents.
Jo had started to smile but it disappeared as Ulrich opened the door and chucked an apple at her. Snatching it out of the air, Jo examined it. Her mouth started to water, "Apples...I love apples..." She bit into it with haste and made "yummy" noises. Mumbling around the apple, Jo explained to Haley, "Actually, I found this place on accident. I didn't know witches and wizards were here hiding out. I was just tired and had to get away from the military chasing me. Seven cities....SEVEN of them refused to help me and sent even more of them after me. I ran the entire way. I figured I'd die sooner or later, but I guess I'm lucky."
The Heartless batted away the rabbit before it could get a good hold on it's neck and met Poke's Keyblade with razor sharp claws. It's yellow eyes glittered in the darkness as it pushed back with equal strength of another Keyblade Wielder. Xenree re-emerged in the center of the Sandlot. A dark Keyblade was raised above her head, "Time to end this foolish game. Dark Void, destroy the light that resides here! Let Darkness cover this world's core and Heartless reign." She was about to slam her Keyblade into the ground when something blue hit her on the side of the head. A blue ball fell on the ground, rolling backwards. Lifting her eyes from the ball to the people of Twilight Town holding more of them and some sort of blue colored bat. "Nn, you would interfere?! But...I suppose I could spare a little time to dispose of a few normal humans." Renee ducked and dodged as fast as her training had taught her, at least, what she remembered. The Keyblade lay a few feet from her now. Still too far away from her to grab without risking damage to herself. Sei shrugged and his entire body curled inward around himself. "But...! She's supposed to be dead! No...no...no..." he mumbled to himself as he curled into a small ball on the ground. Sei's hands were fisted in his white hair and his silver eyes squeezed shut. His knees drawn up to his chest even in his ragged black clothes. He looked like a small child. Yuffie panicked, "Sei!? Are you okay? Sei!?"
ooc: Yeah, I get caught up with Xenree. ^^ Oh and HeartlessOfLight, do you read my posts or just skim them? bic: Sei shook his head, "No. Only Heartless, and if I try...Nobodies too. But I wouldn't call them humans anymore." Xenree sobered and glared at them, "Yes, stupid. Your pathetic summon is worthless. I'll show you a true summon!" Snapping her fingers through her black gloves, Xenree created a glowing purple circle and out from it sprang an odd looking Heartless. It resembled a human with long black claws and it's face hidden in shadows. Crossing her arms again, Xenree chuckled at Nikolai's words. "Of course I laugh. I am, after all, the one who will bring these worlds into an age of darkness." Touching her hand to the wall, she created a dark corridor and slipped through it.
