I usually ship pre-orders because I'm lazy. But it can be a gamble. Sometimes you get it a bit early, sometimes it can be a couple of days after release. I can't say anything on your question though since I haven't set foot in a Gamestop in a good 5 years. Certainly never pre-ordered through them.
I'm just gonna go with that I'm sleeping for you. Like the whole Ed and Al thing in FMA.
I just spent most of the last 20 hours sleeping. Sure it wasn't straight, I ate, used the bathroom, even browsed the forum on my phone briefly. But I would conservatively guess that at least 15 of those hours was actually sleeping. Also, what is the proper way to greet someone if you wake up at 9 PM? It may be your "morning" but it is physically well into the evening and many people are heading towards bed. I like the concept from xkcd of saying good morning from wherever on Earth is is actually morning, but that requires timezone math and geography quickly after waking up.
I kind of see where you are coming from. Though it should be noted that the edit method would not turn it into some super post. It would just mean the every now and then you have two days of posts in one. I'm not actually against this (though it would need to be a prem perk to hold the reason the delay is there at all). I just find it to be somewhat pointless because outside of one-man projects with 1 or more updates each day and community responses averaging less than 1 each day, it only becomes a minor annoyance.
I'm not really sure why you would want to double post. If you need the bump you could always delete and repost with the edit. I personally need to keep reminding myself that I don't have an auto-merge, I've made many a double post responding to people that ninja'd me.
The two are not mutually exclusive. But I am more active than I seem, and I do have reasons for inactivity.
Yeah, you can go over it with high jump, or "under" it with dodge roll (which is really going through it with invincibility frames). That is admittedly where I have the most trouble too, but I can generally make it out okay these days. Maybe using an item in the middle. If you stop to use an item, you will almost always get hit; but if you're pretty sure that you were going to get hit anyway it doesn't really matter.
I'm not sure what part of "Hi" you think has to do with penguins. Honestly.
One quick and dirty suggestion. Use mega-potions rather than hi-potions. Hi-potion might heal you for more than mega, but considering most of them will be used on each other, there is a major concern of running dry if you only heal one person at a time. Note in that video how both allies we KOed most of the time. Plus the only remaining battle you might need them for is Unknown. After that, this battle can be hard at pretty much any level. While you certainly can do it at 60 there is no harm in pushing to 70, 80, or even 100. On to more detailed tips. Tink can be a huge help in this fight, keeping your HP up without as many items in his physical form. Just don't rely on her too much because she becomes more necessary the farther in you get. Don't want her dispelling too early now Some people prefer Aladdin because he holds his own better than Donald in the physical form. I don't see a significant difference though as most of the battle is up to you. If you have trouble dodging the spin move, Strike Raid allows for a lot of invincibility frames. As shown in the video you can even escape the whole thing until his health drops low (usually the third time he enters the physical only state.) The magic form tends not to be too bad. He keeps his distance but fire can usually get him anyway, and if you need to close in Superglide easily outpaces him. If you find yourself needing more MP, hitting the shield physically activates MP Haste and drops MP prizes. You may find it worth it to include Ragnarok or Ars Arcanum since those have high damage per second rates, that way you can hit him harder while he's dazed and ideally keep the battle a bit shorter. And finally, just keep trying. You'll slowly learn the finer points of reading the battle and eventually be able to come out on top. If you need more practice on timing blocking and dodging, Ice Titan is a nice spot.
A bit, for cropping and such. I don't any significant difference between yours and mine.
Yeah, I've got the same thing here. No penguins. http://i894.photobucket.com/albums/ac148/mixttime/Penguin_zps063c2109.png
I didn't say anything about penguins. You said "Hello! c:" and I responded "Hi." You ok?
What is there to explain? Hi is a standard greeting, is it not?
I see where you're coming from. But it doesn't really hurt anything to have it be wider. But we should put in a recommendation based off the fixed width and say something like. "If your signature is wider than x px, it will be resized for many users. For best image quality you should consider an image smaller than x px."
No. That the- Wait a sec. Are you not part of the- Nevermind. I said nothing. Scratch that. I said "Hi." No secret codes here. Nope.
The penguins attack at midnight.
Yeah, the only mild concern that hasn't been brought up is that the image resizing would take a bit of processing. But considering that would be done client side (and most mobiles would even be able to handle it), and the 20 posts per page limits how many times this would need to be done each load; I would say that it is a non issue for almost everyone. On a similar note though, the rules on text parts of a signature have always been vague. How much text is too much? Does the limit decrease if you use a larger font? Can someone put in more if it is spoilered/tabbed? Stuff like that. Not all that vital since that is almost never abused and we can just go by how generally obnoxious it is, but always better to be more concrete if we can.
Well with the lack of detail I'll need to take some shots in the dark, but if none of what I say directly applies you can probably read between the lines some. To me it depends on how you were making them fight to begin with and how exactly you are going about "backing off" For example: If your friends have been doing mean stuff and avoiding conflict by being sneaky about it and you are starting fights by bringing it to light, that is something you should continue to do. It sucks now, but a friendship where that goes down is on shaky ground. If you are stirring up drama where nothing was wrong though, that is something you should cut out. As for the backing off part (if you deem it still necessary) you want to cut out the behavior that was making these friends of yours fight, but they are still your friends. Don't go pulling away from them too much.In fact depending on how this accidentally getting them into fights is happening, just letting them know can be a huge help. I've got one friend that is a compulsive liar and ever since I've learned about that I fact check him all the time and if he says something that is plainly ridiculous I just give him a look and we burst out laughing. He slowly does it less often and it stops me from feeling betrayed or lied to (well I am being lied to, but not maliciously). One tidbit I've learned in time though is that if you're asking about if something is wrong, that vast majority of the time there is something wrong there. It might be taking the action at all, it might be that you need to tweak how you are going about it, or it might even be that even though you think it is wrong the end will justify the means. Just sit back for a moment and think what specifically seems wrong, why does it seem that way? (might be obvious, might not), and is there a better option?
Adult life kinda hit me like a ton of bricks. My ideal career path of Electrical Engineering all but requires a college degree but my work ethic...
Probably not. I've been pretty busy.
