Immy's eyes glittered with hurt as she looked down at her cake again. OOC- Okay then
"You'll be fine sweetie, it could of been a lot worse..." Casey sighed. "Just out..." Lake muttered again, going out of the door.
"You're so boring sometimes." OOC- Aren't they a little old for school now?
"Yeah, but I'm not exactly the 'bad boy' type, am I?" he chuckled weakly. "Out..." She muttered, opening the door.
"Come on Mickey, there's got to be something you want to say." OOC- Sure
"I'm sorry to say this Maddie, but most guys do that at some point in time... Make a promise never to leave then sometime later, be in a week or a decade later..." In the background Lake made her way down the stairs again and headed towards the door. She was carrying her bag, slung casually over her left shoulder.
Lake sat down beside Mickey. "You two going to say anything or just sit there looking rather disinterested."
"It seems bad right now, but I'm sure later on you'll look back and think it was a good thing..." Casey sighed, putting his arm around her shoulder again as he sat down besides her.
Lake's blush reappeared onto her pale cheeks, a part of her wanted to hiss at them and tell them to shut up.
"Maybe you should sit down Madds..." Casey sighed, trying to steer his daughter towards the comfort of the sofa.
OOC- Sorry, my friends decided we had to meet up and I wasn't even dressed so I ended up rushing off DX "Better late then never." Immy smiled.
Lake gripped tightly to his hand and followed behind, a small smile on her lips.
"Yeah..." Lake nodded. Every since Mickey's eighteenth she'd been nervous about being left outside alone.
Lake stood there in silence, unable to think of anything to say.
"Please don't apologise... please..." Lake said quietly, a pleading look in her eyes.
Lake made a small, sweet sound of surprise as their lips made contact. Then, after a second or two she gently, nervously and clumsily kissed back.
"Good luck Lyra, you'll need it."
Lake nervously looked back up at the tall blonde, the gentle breeze blowing through her hair and the moonlight and her unfallen tears sparkling in her eyes.
"S-Sorry..." She mumbled, quickly wiping her face again. "I should just go back inside or something..."
"Okay, I'll shut up." Elle grinned. "But it's a possibility."
