    This week in the spotlight we have veteran member Mish.

    And now for some rules -- please note that the limitations on questions are a bit different for Staff/Prem Question Time than it was with Normal QT:

    1 - Keep it within the rules of the forum, nothing over PG-13. This is still on KHV.

    2 - The person in the spotlight does NOT have to answer all the questions.

    3 - The person in the spotlight will have to answer the question on a regular basis, daily would be preferred, so dedication will be needed.

    4 - You must be nominated in order to be in the spotlight.

    5 - Don't start an argument with the person getting questioned. Keep it clean and don't use it as an attempt to flame the person.

    6 - Don't ask too many questions. Give the person some time to answer, and let others have a chance to ask. Maximum amount of questions asked to the person in the spotlight by one member is 10, and no more than 50 questions can be put forth at one time. Once that member has answered you may ask more. If you ask more than ten questions at once your post will be edited, and if you continue to do so you may be taken off the list for the following week's vote.

    Now get asking! o:

    @Llave and Hayabusa
    Oh gawd ;~; thank you guys. Um the only problem is I really don't have any pictures or renders picked out to give you nor do I know where to get decent ones. Some stuff I like (other than KH lol) are Portal, Monkey Island, and Higurashi/Umineko I guess although I would honestly be cool with just about anything, if you want to pick something and give it a shot or direct me to where I can find something I'd be really grateful, lol.
    Also don't feel bad Hayabusa I think your graphics look really cool <: .

    ...It's actually extremely weird not having an avatar. It's kind of like walking into an elevator and not turning around. Except I'm the person not turning around, so I don't know why it's freaking me out.

    Well, I don't think it's fair to compare Mario with the video game heroes of today or even the mid-90's, because until that time you didn't really see games with incredibly complex stories or characters very often. This was especially true for games of Mario's type, as opposed to RPGs and whatnot -- the focus was (and still often can be) on gameplay, not story. So I would say Mario's lack of 'greatness' in terms of sheer character depth and personality are due to technological restrictions at the time, not an absence of creativity on Nintendo's part. Mario became so loved and popular because his games were fun; he didn't need to be a deep hero. These days, since the norm tends to demand the opposite, he may look a bit lackluster -- but keep his origins in mind. If you ask me, Mario is considered great simply because he is iconic, not because anyone is living under the misconception that he has the depth of today's standard gaming heroes.
