carpe diem. 8DDDD
Bumping because I am incredibly excited. The funding ended a couple days ago at a pretty impressive $3.4 million. I love the classic adventure games that these guys worked together on in the past and while I didn't get a chance to donate I'm probably going to end up buying the finished product as soon as it comes out. I am expecting great things 8'D. The other titles they worked on were so hilarious and creative; it's such a shame people don't make many adventure games anymore. Anyway, here is Double Fine's post about the money raised. The Pyschonauts sequel also sounds like it would be all sorts of awesome but I'm kind of afraid to get my hopes up in case it goes nowhere >: .
Actually I hadn't lololol It eventually gave me a 'could not connect to Steam' error and then when I tried it again just now it worked. Odd, but at least it's functioning now lol. OKAY CRISIS AVERTED thanks guys 8'D
Happy birthday Sabby <33!
Plz, I'm too cool to use greetings that aren't embarrassing.
Is anyone having problems with it? I type my password and it says it's connecting my account and just freezes up x: .
Mmkay .
Such an awesome show ;~; .
qwerty Lol, I slid my pointer finger across the row but stopped before the y and ended up having to tag it onto the end after. It was awkward. >:
Are you sure they didn't actually suspend him, or maybe expel him initially but then allow him to return when they found out it was accidental? Expulsion always refers to a permanent removal from the school, as far as I know.
Not quite, actually. Suspension is a period of time in which the student is removed from school; expulsion is permanent.
Spoiler: omg big surprise!!1!
Pshh small time, I've brought alcohol to school before rubbing alcohol wipes to clean instruments for orchestra, lol But in all seriousness that is pretty terrible, I hope things turn out okay x: .
Yeah I would kind of be the worst fan ever if I didn't know huh, lololol. I know right? & yay.~

It's true that foundation-wise Battle Royale and The Hunger Games have very similar plots, but having read both I feel that The Hunger Games is a lot more character-driven (or more accurately, relationship driven). Additionally, by the second novel of the Hunger Games series there is very little resemblance to Battle Royale at all, even in plot. Battle Royale felt really isolated and didn't cover much outside the 'battle royale' in question; The Hunger Games goes a lot further than that (not that either of those is a bad thing mind you, just different approaches to the concept). I guess I felt Battle Royale looked at the relationships between characters in a more or less impersonal manner and focused more on what was going on in terms of the action, The Hunger Games focused very little on the games themselves compared to the surrounding events and the emotions and relationships between the characters. Similar concept yes, but I feel they're both different enough to merit giving a shot.
1. Tangled. I love this film to death; it has so much character and vibrancy and I think it would suit Kingdom Hearts really well -- enough action to service a proper level, strong enough characters to make a good party, etc. plus the world would just be gorgeous. 2. Toy Story. There's such a charm about Toy Story and it's ingrained in the childhoods of so many people who grew up playing Kingdom Hearts. I think it'd make a really fun addition, and a wacky one too (but more suiting than some other unorthodox worlds like the Pirates one since it lends itself to cartoony-ness [for lack of a better term lol] better). 3. Treasure Planet (Atlantis might also work in the same way but I haven't seen it). Treasure Planet was such an adventurous film; so many locales and so many ships and battles, etc. I think the mysterious, steampunk-y style would be really great in Kingdom Hearts. 4. Finding Nemo. I would be totally cool with this replacing Atlantica forever, lol. 5. Oliver & Company. I'm a little iffy on this but I could just imagine traveling the city and hopping on top of cars and stuff, I think if done correctly it could be really cool, I dunno lol.
HOLY CRAP IT'S MADI, I missed you ;~;! It's so great to see you around again! I hope you've been doing well. =]
Wow, how terrible x: I do wonder what circumstances could have led anyone to target a girl scout cookie stand of all things -- the robbers even appear to be in a similar age group. Really sad news, but I must say it's inspiring to see other troops stepping up to help them out in the face of something like that.
Just curious, do you happen to have Kapersky virus protection installed and/or running while this is going on? I've poked around and there are some reports of this problem being solved if you pause it. If you're using something else, I would give pausing it a go anyway.
